FOR EVERY SEASON YOU'RE WALKING THROUGH, GOD IS ALREADY IN IT

Text: Psalm 139:5 - "Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me."
Deuteronomy 31:8 - "And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed."

INTRODUCTION:
Hear this word and let it settle in your heart:

For every season you're walking through — God is already in it.

You are not walking into that season alone to go and find God there. God went ahead of you. He is already there waiting for you.

Before you entered that difficult season, God beset you — behind and before. Psalm 139:5

1. YOU ARE NOT WALKING INTO AN EMPTY SEASON — GOD IS ALREADY THERE

a) If You Are Walking Through The Valley — God Is Already There.
Psalm 23:4 — "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me..."

David did not say "I will fear no evil because the valley is shallow." He said "I will fear no evil because THOU ART WITH ME."

The valley may be dark, but it is not empty. God is already in that valley season, holding a lamp.

b) If You Are Walking Through Fire — God Is Already In The Fire.
Daniel 3:25 — Nebuchadnezzar looked and said "...I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God."

The Hebrew boys thought they were walking into fire alone. But God was already in the fire before them. He didn't stop the fire — He entered the fire.

Your fire will not burn you because God is already in it.

c) If You Are Walking Through The Wilderness — God Is Already There.
Deuteronomy 2:7 — "For the LORD thy God hath blessed thee in all the works of thy hand: he knoweth thy walking through this great wilderness..."

He knows your walking. He is not watching from a distance. He is in that wilderness with you as a cloud by day and fire by night. Exodus 13:21

2. WHY YOU MUST KNOW GOD IS ALREADY IN THAT SEASON

a) Because If God Is In It, It Cannot Kill You.
Isaiah 43:2 — "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee."

Notice: WHEN you pass through — not IF. God never promised you won't pass through waters, rivers, and fire. He promised that because He is already in it, it will not overflow you or burn you.

b) Because If God Is In It, That Season Has A Purpose.
Romans 8:28 — "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God..."

All things — not some things. That painful season, that waiting season, that lonely season — because God is already in it, He is working it together for your good.

Joseph understood this. Genesis 50:20 — "But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good..."

c) Because If God Is In It, You Will Come Out With A Testimony.
Job 23:10 — "But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold."

You will not die in that season. You will come forth as gold because God who is in it is the Refiner.

3. HOW TO WALK WHEN YOU KNOW GOD IS ALREADY IN IT

a) Walk by Faith, Not by Sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7 — Stop checking the season with your eyes. Check it with faith. You may not SEE God in it, but He IS in it.

b) Walk and Talk to Him in That Season.
Psalm 23:4 says "for thou art with me." Start talking to Him. Prayer turns a lonely season into a fellowship season.

c) Walk Without Fear.
Deuteronomy 31:8 — "Fear not, neither be dismayed." Fear says "God has left this season." Faith says "God is already in this season."

CONCLUSION:

Tonight, wherever you are —

If you are in a waiting season, God is already in it.
If you are in a weeping season, God is already in it.
If you are in a wilderness season, God is already in it.
If you are in a war season, God is already in it.

You are not abandoned. You are beset — behind and before. Psalm 139:5

So lift your head. You will walk through, you will not get stuck. You will come out.

Let God handle it. He knows what's best. And He is already in that season handling it for you.

PSYCHOLOGICAL TERRORISM IN THE SOCIETY TODAY

Text: 2 Timothy 1:7 - "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."

INTRODUCTION:
Good evening, beloved.

We talk a lot about physical terrorism — bombs, guns, kidnappers. But there is a more dangerous terrorism eating our society today, and it does not use guns. It uses WORDS. It uses FEAR. It uses MANIPULATION.

It is called PSYCHOLOGICAL TERRORISM.

It is when someone uses fear, threats, intimidation, shame, and emotional blackmail to control your mind, silence your voice, and steal your peace — especially at night when you want to sleep.

Many of you are victims and you don't know.

1. WHAT IS PSYCHOLOGICAL TERRORISM?

It is mind control through fear.

- A husband telling his wife "If you leave me, you will die in poverty."
- A boss telling his staff "If you challenge me, I will sack you and no one will hire you."
- A preacher telling his members "If you question me, God will kill you. If you leave this church, you will be cursed."
- A politician telling citizens "If you don't vote for us, we will deal with you."

This is not leadership. This is terrorism.

Proverbs 29:25 says "The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe."

Anytime someone uses fear of themselves to cage you, they have put you in a snare. And God says you shall be safe only when you put your trust in Him, not in man.

2. THE WEAPONS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL TERRORISTS — HOW THEY OPERATE:

a) They Use Threats and Curses to Silence Truth.
Nehemiah 6:9 - "For they all made us afraid, saying, Their hands shall be weakened from the work, that it be not done."

The enemies of Nehemiah did not carry sword that day, they carried rumours and threats. "We will stop your work." Today people use "I will curse you, I will destroy you, you will never rise" to silence people who ask questions.

But hear me: A curse without a cause shall not stand. Proverbs 26:2

b) They Use Gaslighting and Emotional Blackmail.
They will hurt you, then tell you that you are the one hurting them. They will manipulate doctrine to make you feel guilty for using your brain.

1 Kings 21 — Jezebel used psychological terrorism against Naboth. She used the king's name, fake fasting, false witnesses, and emotional manipulation to kill an innocent man and steal his vineyard. Many leaders today are like Jezebel — they use spiritual language to commit wickedness.

c) They Steal Your Sound Mind.
God gave you power, love, and a SOUND MIND. 2 Timothy 1:7

But psychological terrorists want to steal your sound mind. They want you to stop reasoning. They want you to obey without Scripture. They want you to follow without question.

But God did not create you to be a robot. Isaiah 1:18 says "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD."

Any leader who tells you "Don't reason, just obey me" is attacking the sound mind God gave you.

3. WHY IS THIS TERRORISM SPREADING IN OUR SOCIETY?

Because we have exalted titles above truth.
Because we have celebrated influence above character.
Because we fear man more than we fear God.

When we fear man, we become slaves to man. But when we fear God, we become free from man.

John 8:32 — "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."

*4. HOW TO OVERCOME PSYCHOLOGICAL TERRORISM:

a) Return to the Word. Psalm 119:130 — "The entrance of thy words giveth light." Fear grows in darkness. Light kills fear. Open your Bible, not just their prophecies.

b) Refuse the Spirit of Fear. Every night before you sleep, reject it. Say "I refuse to be afraid of any man. Only God holds my destiny." Romans 8:15 — "For ye have not received the spirit of bo***ge again to fear..."

c) Guard Your Mind. Philippians 4:8 — Think on what is true, honest, just, pure. Don't let someone else's threats live rent-free in your head.

d) Hold Your Peace and Let God Fight. Exodus 14:14 — You don't need to fight a psychological terrorist with his own weapons. Hold your peace. God will fight for you.

CONCLUSION FOR TONIGHT:

This night, I pray for everyone under psychological bo***ge:

- Everyone who cannot sleep because someone threatened them.
- Everyone who is afraid to speak truth because they will be cursed.
- Everyone whose mind is under attack from manipulation.

May God give you a sound mind tonight.

You will not be terrorized in your own mind.
You will not be caged by any man's threats.
You are free in Christ.

Sleep in peace tonight. The Lord that watches over you neither slumbers nor sleeps. Psalm 121:4

Let God handle it. He knows what's best.

PRAYER BEFORE SLEEP:
Father, tonight I reject every spirit of fear and intimidation. I receive power, love, and a sound mind. Every chain of psychological terrorism over my mind is broken in Jesus' name. I will sleep in peace. Amen.

Good Night and God Bless You.

PSALM 73: GOD GOT YOU

Karl Barth, one of the greatest theologians of the 20th century, once advised Christians to "hold the Bible in one hand and the newspaper in the other."

Newspapers may not be in vogue today, we now hold smartphones, scroll through Facebook, X, and blogs — but the wisdom remains: Keep one eye on the Word of God, and one eye on what is happening in the world.

And if we are honest this morning, what we are seeing in the news is troubling.

It often feels like injustice is paying.
It feels like the wicked are getting away with it.
The oppressor is celebrated. The corrupt is protected. The liar is promoted.

And the poor, the weak, the needy — the very people God says He defends — are the ones suffering the most.

THIS IS EXACTLY PSALM 73.

Asaph, the worship leader, looked around and got discouraged. He said:

"For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked. For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm." — Psalm 73:3-4

He looked at evil men driving big cars, building big empires, doing atrocious things — and nothing happened to them. They were not sick. They were not arrested. They were flourishing.

And Asaph said in verse 13 — "Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency."

In today's language: "Why am I trying to live right? See as bad people dey hammer? Integrity no dey pay again?"

Have you ever felt like that? Watching the news and asking "God, are You seeing this?"

BUT ASAPH DID NOT STOP AT VERSE 13. HE ENTERED THE SANCTUARY.

Psalm 73:17 is the turning point — "Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end."

When he stopped looking at the newspaper alone, and looked at the Bible again, his perspective changed.

He realized:
- The prosperity of the wicked is slippery ground. Psalm 73:18
- Their success is short-lived.
- God has not forgotten the poor. He sees, He knows, and He will judge.

MY WORD FOR YOU TODAY:

Yes, hold your phone in one hand and see what is happening — the killings in Nigeria, the hunger in the land, the corruption in high places, the manipulation even in the Church.

But don't drop your Bible. Don't drop it.

If you look at the world without the Word, you will become depressed, cynical, and bitter.

But if you look at the world THROUGH the Word, you will understand that:

- No injustice is permanent.
- No wicked empire lasts forever.
- God still defends the poor, the widow, the fatherless — even when the system does not.

The news tells you what is happening.
The Bible tells you how it will END.

And in the end, God wins. Justice wins. Truth wins.

So don't envy the wicked. Don't copy them. Don't give up your integrity because it looks like evil is paying.

Stay clean. Stay true. God has not abandoned the earth. He is still on the throne.

God got you .

NO MAN IS ABOVE THE WORD

Text: Psalm 138:2 - "For thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name."
2 Timothy 2:15 - "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Acknowledgement: This message was stirred by a profound truth shared by my Senior brother, Bro. Aaron — "Let no individual assume any fatherly superiority over the Word of God..."

Deep, sincere, and timely. God bless you Bro. Aaron.

INTRODUCTION:
We have entered a dangerous season in the Body of Christ where men now claim to be greater than the Book they preach from.

A man will be clearly corrected by Scripture, and instead of saying "I was wrong, forgive me," he will say "Do you know who I am? I have been in ministry before you were born. You are too small to correct me."

Child of God, hear this: NO MAN IS FATHER OVER THE WORD. The Word is Father over all men.

1. GOD HAS ELEVATED HIS WORD ABOVE HIS OWN NAME
Psalm 138:2 is shocking. God says My Word is greater than My Name.

What does that mean? It means if God Himself submits to His Word, who are you to claim superiority over it?

Your title is not greater than the Bible. Your age in ministry is not greater than the Bible. Your large crowd, your big cathedral, your anointing oil from Jerusalem — none is greater than "Thus saith the Lord."

When the Word corrects you, you don't defend yourself. You repent.

2. A TRUE DISCIPLE REPENTS WHEN CORRECTED BY THE WORD, HE DOES NOT INTIMIDATE
This is the test of true discipleship.

A true son of Christ says: "I missed it, I repent, I will learn rightly."
A false son says: "You are attacking fathers. You are a small boy. I will curse you. My spiritual sons will deal with you."

That is not Christianity, that is cultism. That is manipulating men into serving men.

In Acts 18, Apollos was eloquent, mighty in Scriptures, but Priscilla and Aquila — a couple who made tents — corrected his theology. He did not intimidate them. He humbled himself and learned accurate doctrine. And his ministry became more powerful.

If Apollos can be corrected, who are you that you cannot be corrected?

3. HEAVEN HONORS ACCURATE DIVISION OF TRUTH, NOT EXTENSIVE AGE
Bro. Aaron said it well: "Heaven will honor any individual who has mastered the correct division of the word of truth, regardless of their youth, over those claiming extensive age and ministry experience."

God does not anoint age. He anoints truth.

2 Timothy 2:15 does not say "Show your age and experience." It says "Rightly divide the Word of Truth."

A 30-year-old who rightly divides the Word is more approved before God than a 70-year-old who has been preaching error for 40 years.

Age in error is still error. Longevity in deception is still deception.

God is not impressed by "I have been preaching since 1985." He is impressed by "This man trembles at My Word." Isaiah 66:2

4. THE WAY BACK: FROM CHARISMATISM TO CORRECT THEOLOGY
We have hidden long enough behind shouting, falling, big grammar, and charismatism.

Charisma without character is noise. Anointing without accuracy is deception.

In the beginning, it was not so! In the beginning, the Apostles said "We will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word." Acts 6:4 Not to intimidation, not to fatherly superiority.

The early Church was built on doctrine. Acts 2:42 "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine..."

CONCLUSION: THE CALL TO REPENTANCE
If the Word has corrected you on that teaching — that a woman became mute because she questioned you, that Jesus is jealous of you, that Nigeria's calling is only to pray — don't explain it away. Don't intimidate your critics.

Repent. Learn. Grow.

No man, no matter how anointed, is bigger than the Bible.

Let God be true, and every man a liar. Romans 3:4

May God give us pastors who tremble at His Word again.

WHEN LOVE BECOMES REAL
Text: 1 Corinthians 13:13 — "And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love."

Talking about love is easy. Anyone can quote 1 Corinthians 13 at a wedding.

But living love? That is where love is tested.

It is easy to talk about love on Facebook. The real question is, how do you love when you have been hurt? How do you love when loving costs you?

Paul helps us understand that love is not just an emotion we feel. It is a decision we make.

1. LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL WHEN WE SAY IT, BUT IT IS PROVEN WHEN WE LIVE IT

Love is not in the grammar. Love is in the action.

Anyone can say "I love you." But love becomes real when:
- You choose patience when someone is testing your last nerve.
- You choose kindness when you have every reason to pay back evil for evil.
- You choose to let go of the need to always win an argument.

Real love is not convenient. It is costly.

2. WITHOUT LOVE, EVERYTHING ELSE LOSES ITS MEANING — 1 Corinthians 13:1-3

Paul says something shocking before he even describes love:

You can have:
- Great faith that moves mountains
- Deep knowledge and mysteries
- Amazing spiritual gifts
- Great generosity that gives all to the poor

But without love, all of it is noise. All of it is zero.

God is not impressed by how gifted we are. He is moved by how loving we are. Because gifts are what we do, but love is who we are.

3. GOD'S KIND OF LOVE SHOWS UP IN HOW WE TREAT PEOPLE — ESPECIALLY WHEN IT HURTS

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 describes Agape love:

- Love is patient: It can wait.
- Love is kind: It does not revenge.
- Love does not keep record of wrongs: It refuses to keep a mental list of every offense. It forgives and releases.
- Love rejoices in truth: It does not mean we ignore what is wrong. True love does not celebrate sin, it celebrates truth. We can correct in love, not gossip in hate.

God's love is not just a warm feeling in our heart during worship. It is seen in how we talk to our spouse, how we treat our workers, how we respond to those who offended us.

If your love only works when people are kind to you, that is not God's love. That is transaction.

4. THE GREATEST IS LOVE

Faith is powerful — it moves God.
Hope is powerful — it keeps us going.
But love is the greatest — because love looks like God.

1 John 4:8 — "He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love."

One day faith will become sight. Hope will become reality. But love will remain forever.

Prayers

So today, maybe our prayer should change.

Instead of just praying, "God, help me feel more love,"

Let us pray, "God, teach me to love like You — when it is hard, when it is painful, when it costs me something. Shape my heart to respond like Yours."

Because at the end of life, God will not ask us how gifted we were.

He will ask us how loving we were.

Declaration:
Lord, teach me Your kind of love. Love that is patient, kind, truthful, and enduring. Amen.

BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD

Text: Job 1:21 — "The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord."

Job lost everything in one day. Not in one year — in one day. His children, his cattle, his businesses, his health. And his first response was not complaint, it was worship.

Job 1:20 says "Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped."

Who worships after loss? A man whose faith is not built on things, but on God.

1. JOB UNDERSTOOD THAT EVERYTHING IN THIS LIFE IS TEMPORARY, BUT GOD IS ETERNAL

- Houses are temporary.
- Money is temporary.
- Status, beauty, position, even people are temporary.
- Only God is eternal.

That is why Job could lose everything and still have everything — because he still had God.

Many of us worship God only because of what He gives. When God gives, we shout. When God takes, we insult. That is not worship, that is business.

2. YOUR FAITH MUST NOT BE BUILT ON POSSESSIONS, STATUS OR CIRCUMSTANCES

If your faith is built on:
- Possessions: You will collapse when you lose them.
- Status: You will collapse when you are demoted.
- Circumstances: You will collapse when life changes.

But if your faith is built on the unchanging character of God — His love, His mercy, His faithfulness — no storm can move you.

Psalm 34:1 — "I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth."

At all times means in good times and in bad times.

3. THREE SEASONS, THREE ATTITUDES

Like Job, learn this:

a) Be Grateful in Seasons of Abundance
When God gives you much, don't forget Him. Deuteronomy 8:18 — Remember the Lord.
Many people become proud when God blesses them. Stay grateful.

b) Be Faithful in Seasons of Loss
This is where many fail. Loss is not proof that God left you. It is proof that God is teaching you to trust Him without props.
Don't stop coming to church because you lost a job. Don't stop praying because you lost a loved one. Be faithful.

c) Be Humble in Seasons of Success
Success is a test. Will you still kneel? Will you still serve? Will you still say "It is the Lord's doing?"

4. THE GREATEST TREASURE IS NOT THE GIFT, IT IS THE GIVER

If your joy depends only on what God gives, your faith will falter when things change.

But if your joy is rooted in God Himself, you can say with confidence:

"Whether I have much or little, whether I gain or lose, whether men celebrate me or forget me, I WILL STILL BLESS HIS NAME."

Because gifts can be taken, but the Giver remains.

Habakkuk 3:17-18 — "Although the fig tree shall not blossom... yet I will rejoice in the Lord."

Today, what has God taken? What have you lost?

Can you still lift your hands and say "Blessed be the name of the Lord"?

That is maturity. That is Job-level faith. And God is looking for such men and women in this generation.

DECLEAR THIS: "Lord, I thank You in abundance, I trust You in loss, I remain humble in success. My joy is not in Your gifts, my joy is in You. Blessed be Your name!"

Congratulations 🥳 and Happy Sunday.

With Pops Harrison – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉

Sometimes loneliness isn’t about having no one around.

You can be in a full church, full house, full WhatsApp, and still feel alone.

Loneliness is that moment you realize...
The people you thought were close, were never truly close at all. 🤍🌿

You checked their messages, you called, you cared, you showed up.
But when it was your turn to need someone, the room became silent.

It hurts. But it also heals.

Because God allows it so you will finally see the difference between CROWD and COVERING, between FOLLOWERS and FAMILY, between PEOPLE AROUND YOU and PEOPLE FOR YOU.

David had mighty men around him, but only Jonathan understood his soul.

Jesus had 12 disciples around Him, but at Gethsemane, only 3 were close, and at the cross, only 1 remained.

If you are feeling that loneliness tonight, hear this:

God is not punishing you, He is pruning you.
He is removing the people who were only close in your mind, so He can give you people who are close in assignment.

You are not alone. You are just being separated for your next season.

Psalm 27:10 — "When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up."

May God send you true close ones in this season.

WHAT YOU CALL THE FUTURE IS NOW.

You keep saying "Someday I will start."
"Someday I will pray more."
"Someday I will leave that sin."
"Someday I will write that book, start that business, forgive that person."

My friend, that someday you are waiting for is TODAY.

James 4:14 — "What is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away."

The future you are postponing is happening now.

The child you said you will train in the future is growing now.
The marriage you said you will fix in the future is breaking now.
The calling you said you will answer in the future is calling now.

Tomorrow is not a date on the calendar. Tomorrow is a trick the devil uses to waste your today.

Stop waiting for January. Stop waiting for when you have money. Stop waiting for when you feel ready.

DO IT NOW.
Pray now.
Forgive now.
Start now.
Obey now.

Because what you call future, God calls NOW.

2 Corinthians 6:2 — "Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation."

If you are reading this, this is your sign. Move now.
