Youthfulness is a strength, not a weakness. Every society is sustained and built by the energy, passion, and contributions of young people. A ministry without youth has no future.

While young people may have their excesses, youth and campus ministries remain a great blessing to humanity. Unfortunately, campus ministry is often underrated, and the sacrifices of campus ministers are frequently overlooked, even though many leaders and ministries outside the campus later benefit from their labor.

If campus ministers and ministries receive proper support, mentorship, and encouragement, they can become powerful training grounds for raising the next generation of leaders and transforming society. If you are a product of campus ministry share your experience with us.

THE VILLAGE PASTOR
The greatest blessing many of us often overlook is the gift of the “village pastor” God placed in our lives while we were still young in faith. Those were the days of small churches with no powerful microphones, yet the message was clear enough to transform hearts. Churches with no air conditioners, yet we stayed for hours in God’s presence without complaining or feeling tired. Places where there was no classism, no competition, and no obsession with status or material things—only genuine hunger for God and a passion for spiritual growth.
Sadly, as many believers grow and become “relevant” in society, they easily forget the humble foundations that raised them. They forget the small churches and faithful pastors who labored, prayed, taught, and sacrificed so they could know Christ.
The truth is, many of us—including myself—would never have encountered Christ the way we did without these village pastors. They may not have large platforms, social media influence, or expensive buildings, but their impact is eternal. They need encouragement. They need financial support. They need to know their labor is not in vain.

CAMPUS MINISTRY .
Campus ministry is often unfairly criticized today, and it is becoming alarming. People say careless things like, “You will lose your fire after campus,” or “You think you are a man of God because you have zeal now.” Such statements are unnecessary.

The truth is, many of the great churches we see in Nigeria and around the world are products of campus and youth ministries. Most of the influential pastors we know today have strong roots connected to campus fellowship and youthful service in God’s work.

Youthful zeal and passion are not weaknesses; they are strengths for the body of Christ. Just because some lost their fire does not mean others will follow the same path.

Youth ministry remains God’s strategy for world evangelism. So let us stop discouraging those who are serving faithfully. Focus on your own assignment, let others do God’s work, and together let us advance the Kingdom.
