Thank God for the shower 🚿 of rain this night. The night is cool but my heart goes to my brethren at Afubow Island. 🏝 and other people who have been displaced. Well, alot of people are currently living underwater. It's a terrible situation.

I wonder how this people will be faring now, couple with their current situation. As the floodwater slowly recedes. The force of the water has succeeded to washed away homes, leaving the people stranded and helpless from this devastating floods. 🏝

They also deserve more than words. What the need majorly now... Detergent, toiletries and mosquito net and food stuff. Please nothing is too small.

This is Afubow Island, it is located in Benue State Beside Nasme Barrack Makurdi. It's a rural settlement where by the help of God we have been reaching out to as God permit.

As I write, they are currently under water as flood has visited them, and their only source of income which is farming, destroying every single crop on their farms and rendering the whole community homeless, and without any source of livelihood.

They are currently at the mercy of God and the desperately need help at the moment.

Brethren, this is a passionate appeal to friends, family, and loved ones who are led to be a blessing to these people in this moment of need. Any help, be it financial, material, or otherwise will go a long way in bringing them out of their current situation.

I will be paying a visit on Monday the 26th of September by 10am by the Grace of God with whatever we can raise for these people. You may choose to visit them yourself with whatever you have and God will bless you abundantly.
