THE TRIGGER.

Galatians 5:6

GOD'S LOVE is the TRIGGER of all that God did for us through His Son Jesus Christ by the instrumentality of the Cross and RESURRECTION..
We are glad and grateful to God as partakers of Christ 's auspicious love for humanity.
I want to gladly welcome every living one to the month of APRIL which I also termed as"TRIGGER". April for you shall be the month of the months this year 2026. A month that will give birth to Miracles in your life. Is a month to be remembered for those great things this Lord shall be doing for you.
April will trigger supernatural favor, healing of all infirmities, deliverance from all forms of demonic attacks, lifting to greater heights in life.
Remember, It's both DEATH AND RESURRECTION that happened in Esther. Both are significant, DEATH means all your AFFLICTIONS are all dead on the CROSS (COL.2:14)
RESURRECTION means Risen from the grave of all the evil you have been in. Both the power of death and grave has been broken for you (1cor. 15 :55-57).
HALLELUJAH! VICTORY IS YOURS . Remain in the victory of Cross of Jesus and keep shining as a resurrected believer.

DEVOTIONAL

TOPIC: WHO ARE YOU FOLLOWING?

SCRIPTURES:

Matt.4.19 – And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Matt.4.20 – And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.
Matt.4.21 – And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.
Matt.4.22 – And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

1Thess.5.15 – See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
3John.1.11 – Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

MESSAGE

JESUS made very clear invitation to follow Him. Why it is fundamental to whatever one will become in life, is because who you follow determine who you become.

From all indication Jesus wanted the disciples to become like Him.

There are many things that are presenting themselves for us to follow. The choice we make will be very consequential. If we follow the world, we end up becoming like the world. When we follow ungodly men, definitely we become ungodly. If you’re following God’s word, you’re reflecting His nature.

Primarily, it was an invitation to participate in the Kingdom of God, to live under God’s rule in a way that brings life, hope, and healing to the world. Jesus was initiating a movement that would spread God’s love and grace to every corner of the earth. So, if you’re tracking with me, Jesus was teaching them how to live out the values of the Kingdom (exemplified in the Beatitudes), both in their personal lives and in community with others.

When Jesus says “Follow me,” it’s far more than a simple invitation to walk behind Him. It means transformation. Following Jesus means to align our lives with His teachings and example, to embrace His values as our own. It signifies a willingness to leave behind old ways and habits, to take up our cross daily, and to live out a commitment to Him above all other influences.

Ultimately, this reshapes our priorities, our actions, and our very identity!

REMEMBER

When Jesus invited/commanded his disciples to follow him, they:
• left their boats and nets (their identity & livelihood)
• began to obey his other commands (leaving their own priorities)
• began to learn from him (beginning to leave their own opinions)
• began to imitate him (beginning to leave their self-righteousness)

REMEMBER, YOU WHO YOU FOLLOW. LET’S ENDEAVOR TO FOLLOW JESUS IN ALL HIS WAYS.

“Lord, help me follow You wholeheartedly. Guide my steps, align my heart with Yours, and give me the strength to obey.

TOPIC: YOU ARE NOT ALONE

SCRIPTURES

Heb.13.5 – Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Heb.13.6 – So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Deut.31.6 – Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

INTRODUCTION

From the beginning of human existence, Loneliness is considered as a major challenge. God saw it that way,

Gen.2.18 – And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

If God said, it’ is not good, then it is indeed not good. Immediately the problem of loneliness was solved right there, by creating a woman for Adam.

Loneliness is no respecter of persons. It is challenge that affects both the small and great. In quest to solve the problem of loneliness by our own power, Many turn to drink because of loneliness. Others lose their sanity because of loneliness. Many commit su***de because of the despair of loneliness.

JESUS IS THE SOLUTION

Matt.28.20b – Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Thousands have found Christ to be the answer for their loneliness.

The Hebrew children were not alone when they were cast into the fiery furnace of persecution. There was One with them like unto the Son of God.

Jesus even testified also the Father being present with Him all the time.

John 8 :29 – “And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.”

Moses wasn’t alone in the Midian Desert when God came to comfort him and call him to a deliverance assignment.

Elijah wasn’t alone at the cave when God came near and spoke with the still, small voice.

Paul and Silas were not alone in the Philippian jail when God came down and gave them a song at midnight.

It’s God’s uttermost delight to give you His presence wherever you might be.

STEPS OUT OF LONELINESS

1. OBEDIENCE TO GOD

John 8 :29. Jesus said, I do those things that please the Father.

Nothing attracts God’s presence like obedience.

Obedient christians are never alone.

2. GOOD CHARACTER

Heb.13.5 – Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Paul said in that verse, Let our character be without covetousness, greed and others. Let’s put on Godly character and His shall never depart from us.

TOPIC: GOD’S MERCY FOR YOUR MESS

SCRIPTURE:

Neh. 9:31 – “Nevertheless for thy great mercies’ sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.”

God’s mercy is greater than our messes, offering unconditional love, forgiveness, and transformation for mistakes, sins, and brokenness. It is a divine, restorative, and cleansing power that turns personal failures into messages of hope. Mercy is available to anyone who humbly seeks it, regardless of the severity of their situation.

POSSIBILITIES OF GOD’S MERCY FOR OUR MESS

1. COMPLETE CHANGE BY GOD’S MERCY

God can take any “mess” (sins, guilt, shame, failures) and turn it into a “message” or a beautiful testimony.

AVAILABILITY OF GOD’S MERCY

God’s mercy is always there to anyone that cares for it.
There is no mess too big, and no one is too far gone for God to reach.

REQUIREMENT

All that is needed is a sincere, humble heart and a willingness to confess/admit the mistake.

Action: God is described as waiting to wash away, forgive, and restore, rather than just condemn.

PURPOSE OF GOD’S MERCY

Mercy is not just for clearing the past but for rebuilding, offering a new beginning and a bright future.

“Mercy for your mess” implies a promise of grace in the middle of chaos, where God’s compassion meets human frailty.

God’s mercy is bigger than your mess.
His forgiveness is real.
You’re not too messed up. You’re not too sinful. You’re not too far for God to reach you.
God isn’t afraid of your mess. He’s not intimidated.

John 4:4–29.
God will have mercy on whomever he will have mercy, and he will have compassion on whomever.

You are still loved!
God’s mercy is greater than your mess.
God’s mercy is greater than your mess. His mercy can turn your mess into a great and glorious message.
You are still loved. Come as you are. God’s favour is great and powerful than all human meds.

May the Mercy of God clean out every mess in your life.
FOR GREAT IS THY MERCY TOWARD ALL.

There’s nothing too dirty or messy for God to cleanse, as He is specialized for any kind of mess and there’s nothing too hard for Him to do.

God says, “My mercy is bigger than any mistake.”
God says, “I can still get you to your destiny.”
God says, “I will give you beauty for those ashes.”

When Mercy prevails, God turns your mess into a message — a message that will testify of His goodness, mercies, and favour for you.
