UNDERSTANDING THE LAWS OF SUCCESS – PART 2

The purpose of redemption is for us to go back to the top. Jesus came to take us back to the top – Rom. 8:29. We are redeemed to be on the top. It gives God joy to see us (His Children) to be on top. God is committed to our success.
Where you are may be good BUT there is a better place ahead; THE NEXT LEVEL. Success is making daily conscious advancement in your life. Our covenant is that we shall lend to nations.
THE LAW OF DISCIPLINE:
Discipline is self-commandment. It means to put your Spirit, body and soul under control. 1st Cor. 6:12. It also means to command oneself. Many people started a business and their business failed because they are not disciplined. Discipline is the ability and power to postpone pleasure. Discipline is self-reliant and control. A person that does not have discipline is like a vehicle without break. Discipline is the power to say NO.
AREAS OF DISCIPLINE:
 Discipline your flesh and sense organs. Discipline your mouth, nose, ear etc.
 Discipline your finances – Your spendings.
 Discipline your words – A man is rated by His words.
 Discipline your time – Eph. 5 vs. 16.
 Discipline your emotions – Your emotion should not give your life a direction.
 Be disciplined in your development. Discipline your stomach. Seek to grow. Joseph was continually on the top. He was disciplined. He didn’t allow the pleasure in the house of Potiphar to stop him.
WHAT SHOULD I DO TO BE DISCIPLINED?
1. Identify areas of your discipline.
2. Engage the help of the Holy Spirit. 1 Sam. 2 vs. 9, Rom. 8 vs. 13.
3. Attend to the word – Prov. 4:20.
4. Locate disciplined mentors and friends. Prov. 27 vs. 17.
