*SIN CANNOT DOMINATE YOU*

“For sin shall not have dominion over you, because you are under grace and not under the law.” Romans 6:14 KJV

Oftentimes, people ask me the question, Brother Mike, are you saying that now that I am righteous, I can go and start sinning? If such questions are not asked, I will be surprised. Shall we continue in sin? Are you now saying that, now that I am righteous, I can be living in sin? No! The truth is that you cannot enjoy sin again. Even when you try to, you will discover that it is not working.
Why? Because your nature has changed, not by your effort, but because of what Jesus did in you. The problem we have been experiencing in the body of Christ is that people are trying to live for Christ when they have not accepted His righteousness. If you don’t first accept it, you can never live for Him, and your struggle with sin will continue.

Sin shall not have dominion over you because you are not under the law, but under grace. Grace is unmerited, unearned, and undeserved. You didn't work for it, you didn't earn it, and you didn't deserve it.
You are not qualified for it, but He gave it to you anyway. Sin cannot dominate those who enjoy grace. But for those who are trying to please God, sin will always dominate them.
The Holy Spirit said to me: Don’t try to be a Christian. Many church folks are trying to be Christian by trying to please God. You cannot succeed. Brother Mike, what should I do? Just make sure you are in Christ. If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation. Once you are in Christ, you will discover that you will be living for God.

For as he is, so are we. And the only way you can be in Christ is to establish your righteousness. Your sin cannot unravel this righteousness. Your mistakes cannot change it. It is eternal. It is given to you by God. So, it is divine and holy. The things you do will not change it. It is constant.

*DEPLOY YOUR POTENTIALS*

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” - Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)

Beloved, we are God’s masterpiece, His finest creation. He has made us new in Christ Jesus so that we can do the good works He planned for us long ago. The reason we were recreated in Christ is so we can access, explore, and walk in all that God ordained for us before we were ever born.
That is the essence of being born again. It is not a religious formality or a mere ritual to fulfil all righteousness. No! The born-again experience is a divine reality, an authentic transformation.
When you received Christ, you became a new creation, a completely new kind of being that has never existed before. God recreated you to fulfil a unique destiny that He specifically designed for you.

Before you were born, God already mapped out your path and the good works you were meant to accomplish. He looked at you and said, “This one will be a multi-millionaire.” “This one will be a billionaire.” “This one will shape the entertainment industry.” “This one will transform education.” “This one will lead in business.” Each of us was carefully packaged for a distinct assignment.
However, the fact that God has equipped and ordained you for greatness does not mean it will happen automatically. It does not manifest by default, you have a part to play.

The world is filled with people of tremendous potential that remains un-deployed. Great possibilities, but unused! And yet, many blame God for their lack of results. What a tragedy!
Think about it, a fertile field that is filled with rich resources, yet without a harvest because its owner refuses to plough. He sleeps, wastes the season, and then complains of hunger.

Beloved, don’t be that person. Deploy your potential! Don’t let your gifts die unused. Don’t take your greatness to the grave. God has invested too much in you, make sure the world experiences it.

*YOU WILL NOT BE ASHAMED.*

“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” - Romans 8:31 (KJV)

Beloved, when God is for you, it truly doesn’t matter who or what is against you. His presence with you guarantees victory, honour, and restoration.

The Lord once said to me, “Son, this your calling, not many noble, not many mighty.” In other words, the more unqualified you think you are, the more qualified you become for His purpose. God delights in using those who seem ordinary to accomplish the extraordinary.

Moses once thought he was ready when he was still the prince of Egypt - educated, influential, and powerful. But it was when he became a forgotten man in the wilderness, stripped of all human qualification, that God said, “Now you are the one I will use.” God specializes in turning “used-to-bes” into vessels of divine glory.

In 2 Chronicles 20:12, King Jehoshaphat prayed, saying: “O our God, we have no might against this great multitude that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.” What a powerful posture of faith! He admitted his weakness but refused to focus on the opposition. Instead, he fixed his gaze on God.

And the result? The Lord caused confusion in the camp of the enemy. Jehoshaphat and his people did not need to fight; they only stood still and saw the salvation of the Lord as their enemies destroyed one another.

Psalm 34:5 declares: “They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.” You will not be ashamed! Whatever the enemy has arranged to bring you shame or disappointment is reversed today in Jesus’ name.

I stand on the finished work of Christ and the covenant of grace to declare over you:You are healed! You will not die prematurely! Your desire to carry your own baby will not be aborted! Every manipulation of the enemy against your destiny backfires now!Their plans are nullified and will never stand! Your promotion will come, your increase will manifest, and your testimony will shine. Before the very eyes of your mockers, God will glorify Himself in your life.

You will not labour in vain. You will not labour for another to eat. Every attempt to deceive, delay, or frustrate you shall fail. You will rise and shine, for the Lord is with you, and you will never be ashamed!

*THE CONTRARY WIND WILL NOT STOP YOU*

“And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land. And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.” - Mark 6:47-48 (KJV)

Beloved, when Jesus said to His disciples, “Let us pass over to the other side,” His Word carried the power and authority to bring them there. Yet, as they obeyed, the Bible records that “there arose a great storm in the sea.”

Beloved, something may have risen to challenge the Word of God concerning your life. But no matter what it is, the Word has already gone ahead of you. Long before your journey began, God’s Word settled your victory. The Word of God will overrule every contrary situation.

No matter how fierce the storm or how strong the opposition, you will celebrate. You are next in line for a testimony! Nothing will abort your joy or delay your breakthrough. You will rejoice concerning your finances, your ministry, your family, your health, your academics, and every area of your life.
Every power of darkness contending with your progress will bow to the authority of God’s Word in your life.

The disciples made it to the other side just as Jesus had said. You too will cross over successfully! You are moving from poverty to prosperity, from fear to faith, from emptiness to fruitfulness, and from sickness to health. There is another side to your current challenge, and it is a side of victory, abundance, and glory.

Whenever you are advancing toward your prophetic destiny, there will always be contrary winds. But let this truth settle in your heart: no matter how contrary the wind is, you will come out victorious. Your story will not end in disgrace or shame. The storm may rage, but it cannot stop the Word of God from being fulfilled in your life.

I declare that a change is coming to your life. Your colourful destiny shall be fulfilled. You will rise, you will shine, and you will rejoice, because nothing can stop you in Christ.

*THE GOD YOU SEE*

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” - 1 John 3:2 (KJV)

Beloved, this scripture indeed points to the last days, but it also carries a profound truth we can apply personally. It says, “Now we are sons of God,” yet “it doth not yet appear what we shall be.” In other words, though we are already God’s sons, our full manifestation may not yet be visible. You might look around and see things that don’t yet reflect what God has said about you, but that doesn’t change who you are. Everything is still working together for your good.

That’s why you must see God as He truly is, because you can only manifest at the level of the revelation of God that you see. What you see determines what you experience. If you see God as your Healer, you will enjoy divine healing. If you see Him as your Provider, you will walk in supernatural supply. If you see Him as your Defender, you will dwell in safety. The God you see determines the reality you live in.

All through scripture, God reveals different aspects of Himself, not for information, but for manifestation. He shows us who He is so we can experience and express that aspect of His nature in our world. You cannot manifest what you do not see.

The word “appear” means to become visible, evident, or manifest. It speaks of something becoming real to the eyes or to the understanding. So when John says, “It doth not yet appear what we shall be,” he’s saying it hasn’t yet become clear or evident, not because it doesn’t exist, but because it hasn’t yet been seen.

Beloved, when you begin to see God clearly, you will begin to reflect Him clearly. “But we know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.” When He becomes apparent to you, you will begin to manifest His nature to your world.

*THE WORD OF GOD WILL PROSPER IN YOUR LIFE*

“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.” - Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)

Beloved, the Bible declares that God has magnified His Word above His name (Psalm 138:2). He also says, “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.” (Psalm 89:34). This means that God stands by His Word, He watches over it to perform it.

Beloved, just believe and receive the Word of God, and you will see it work in your life. The Word has no margin for failure. When God sent His Word into a world that was formless and void, everything came into alignment. The same Word still carries creative power today. Nothing can stop it from prospering in your life!

As far as God is concerned, you are blessed and not cursed. You are not under poverty. The curse of lack, failure, disappointment, and intimidation is broken over your life. Every positive Word of God you have received and declared will produce results. When others do not achieve, you will achieve. Where others fail, you will succeed. Where others fall, you will stand strong. When others faint, you will be renewed and refreshed.

You will be sustained by the strength of the Almighty. What has been difficult for you will become easy. What has been rough will become smooth. Everything that has been stolen from you shall be restored, your promotion, your business, your finances, your marriage, your health, your academics, and your career. Where men rejected you, God will overrule in your favor.

Hold on to the Word! It is not just powerful, it is unstoppable. Every Word from God concerning your life will prosper, and nothing shall hinder its fulfillment.

*DON’T MORTGAGE YOUR FUTURE*

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, He hath also rejected thee from being king.” - 1 Samuel 15:23 (KJV)

Beloved, the worst enemy a person can have is not the devil, it’s self. If the devil cannot get you to work against yourself, his chances of defeating you are slim. When God is for you, no one can be against you. But when you step out of alignment with God, you open the door for the enemy to attack. That was Saul’s undoing.

God gave Saul a clear instruction to destroy the Amalekites completely. But instead of obeying, Saul did what seemed right to him. He spared what he considered valuable and ignored what God said. Then God spoke those painful words: “Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, He hath also rejected thee from being king.”

Imagine that Saul, chosen and anointed by God to reign, lost everything because he couldn’t obey. He traded a glorious future for fleeting pleasure. Before you condemn Saul, take a moment to reflect. How many times have we mortgaged our future for temporary satisfaction? Esau did the same, he sold his birthright for a plate of food, and the blessing slipped away forever.

Beloved, sin may be forgiven, but it often carries natural consequences; shame, regret, and the loss of divine opportunities. The devil’s offers may look appealing, but they always come with hidden traps. Never trade your destiny for convenience. Don’t fall for the devil’s carrot; he never means well for you.

Stand firmly on God’s side. Obey His word even when it doesn’t make sense. Remember, “The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it.” (Proverbs 10:22). Hold fast to God’s instructions and don’t abort your miracle. Your obedience is the key to your preservation and promotion.

*DON’T VIOLATE SPIRITUAL INSTRUCTIONS*

“And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” - 1 Samuel 15:22 (KJV)

Beloved, in 1 Samuel 9, the Bible records how Saul, a man from the least tribe of Israel, was chosen by God to be king. He never imagined that such honor would come to him, yet God elevated him. Saul was tall, handsome, and impressive, a man who carried presence wherever he went. But beyond physical appearance, God wanted obedience.

When God gave Saul a clear instruction to destroy the Amalekites completely, Saul chose partial obedience. He spared King Agag and kept the best of the animals, claiming he wanted to use them for sacrifice. But God had already seen those animals and still said, “Utterly destroy them.”

Beloved, this is where many of us miss it. We try to advise God as though He doesn’t know all things. We think we can substitute obedience with activity, service, or sacrifice. But the truth remains: God delights in obedience more than sacrifice.
The fact that you are chosen, anointed, or gifted does not give you a license to disobey divine instructions. In fact, your calling should make you value obedience even more. Saul’s disobedience cost him his throne and his destiny.

The Scripture reminds us: “That which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.” (Luke 16:15 KJV). God does not measure by human standards. He looks for the heart that trembles at His word.

Beloved, don’t take your salvation for granted. Don’t let pride or reasoning rob you of divine favor. Reverence God and obey His instructions completely. Obedience will take you farther than sacrifice ever will.

*YOUR ATTACKERS WILL NOT GO FREE*

“Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt. Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not…” - 1 Samuel 15:2-3 (KJV)

Beloved, God instructed Saul to utterly destroy the Amalekites, but Saul disobeyed and spared some of them. The Lord then said to Samuel, “Look at Saul, the man I lifted up. I gave him a clear instruction, but he has forgotten where I brought him from.” God reminded Saul that He had not forgotten what Amalek did to Israel, how they ambushed His people when they were coming out of Egypt.

Beloved, this shows us something powerful: God remembers. He remembers every injustice done against His children. He remembers those who have stood in your way, plotted against you, or tried to hinder your progress.
Even when it seems as though heaven is silent, know that God keeps records, and He is a God of righteous judgment.

The Scripture declares: “Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you.” (2 Thessalonians 1:6 KJV). God will repay! None of your attackers will go free. He will arise on your behalf, and your enemies will be scattered.

So, stop worrying about who is fighting you. The Lord says, “Focus on Me, keep worshipping Me, and I will handle them.” You are the apple of His eye. He has vowed to protect you. Whoever touches you, touches Him.

Be assured today that no weapon formed against you shall prosper. The weapons may be formed, but they will fail. Your God is your defender, your shield, and your strong tower. Rest in this confidence: your enemies will not go unpunished, for the Lord Himself will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.
