This is Professor Abdullahi Ahmad Gbobe, Professor of Applied Linguistics @ Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He taught me the Art and Science of Qur'anic recitation as classmates studying English/History at COE, Ankpa in 1986. May Allah reward him for wearing the garment of patience while guiding me to Siratal Mustaqeem. Alhamdulillah.

Kogi State Chapter of Jama'atu Nasril Islam has condoled the Auditor General of Kogi State, Alhaji Yakubu Okala on the death of his brother, Chief Isa Usman Okala.
In a statement jointly signed by the State Chairman, Ambassador Usman Bello and Secretay, Alhaji Isa Adeboye, JNI described the deceased as a committed Muslim whose demise has created a vacuum in the Committee of Muslim Royal Fathers in the state.
The statement implored Alhaji Yakubu Okala to take solace in the fact that his Late brother lived a fulfilled life full of accomplishments and prayed for Allah's Mercies on his soul.
The Late Chief Alhaji Isa Usman Okala was until his death last Saturday the Emakoji Atta of Ajiolo Ajikpome in Dekina LGA with the Royal Greeting of Gbadaligi.
