Psalms 121:7 The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

It gives God great delight to preserve His children from all evil orchestrated by the enemies. He is called "the Lord' and not "a lord". He is definitely the only Lord who oversees the happenings in the entire earth. He knows every conspiracy emanating from any quarter, and He has the capacity to handle them without announcing it to anyone

The statement, 'He shall preserve your soul' is a big one. Your soul comprises of your mind, your will and. your emotion. He will preserve your mind from being manipulated against you. He will preserve your will not to stray. He keeps your will on the path of his purpose. He will preserve your emotion. He helps you keep your emotion under control so you can conduct yourself maturely and be in charge of the activities of your life

Can you see the various dimensions of God's preservation? When your soul is preserved, it becomes easy to fulfill destiny. However, for God to be in full charge, we must deliberately surrender to his dictates and leading. We should wake up craving for the leading of the Holy Ghost. We must wait untill we are sure of God's interest on every matter before we take steps and we will not fail

Prayer
Dear Holy Spirit, thank you for agreeing to guide me for free. Today, I am led by the Holy Spirit, and I am blessed tremendously, in the name of Jesus.

John 3:30
He must increase, but I must decrease.

The purpose of living in God's kingdom is to magnify Jesus Christ and not ourselves. His fame must increase as He increases you. Living is not about yourself, your beauty, titles, and certificates; living should be about Christ and for Christ.

You genuinely and practically prove that Jesus is the Lord of your life by how you start your day. He must be your first consideration when you are privileged to step into a new day; quality time must be dedicated to seeking the face of Christ every morning and you don't need to look too far to find Christ. Don't let the blessing, job, children, business, and connections that God gave you come between you and God.
The Psalmist speaking in Psalms 63:1O, God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is. You see that?

We see Christ in the written Word. And when you wake up in the morning, let the Word of God be the first things to consider, not yourself, comfort, food, drinks, family or business. Even your worries are not worth giving attention to in the morning. Leave all worries on Him and think about him; he will take care of them. Let Him be your joy, not money or pleasure. 1 Peter 5:7
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Let the Word of God form the standard for your life.
