*How we became god.*
Text: I have said, Ye are gods;...
-- Psalms 82:6a
God through the mouth of his servant called us god. "Ye are gods" refers to all the children of God.

*Who are the children of God?*

Those who through Jesus received power to become the sons of God. John 1:12

A lion gives birth to a lion and a goat to a goat. Even so, God gives birth to god.

In John 3:16 Jesus was the only begotten son of before His reincarnation in Mary's womb. This words "only begotten of the Father" in Greek means Monogene. Mono- meaning one, gene - as in our genetic make up. The only, unique, one of a kind. This means that Jesus Christ is the only one who carries the same gene as His father, God.

*Understanding the person of Jesus in whom we became god.*

In Isaiah 9:6 the prophet speaks of the coming saviour as " a son" and in the same passage as " the everlasting Father!"

AS A SON
In John 3:16 Jesus was referred to as the "only begotten" in Greek it is Monogene. Mono- meaning "one" and gene as in genetic make up. He is the only one who carries the same gene as His Father.
2. After Christ incarnation in Mary's womb and death, Colo. 1:15-18 Jesus became the first born of all creation. From the Greek word, acts 13: 30-33, HEB. 12:23.
3. John 1:1 proves that Jesus is God.

WE ARE BORN INTO HIS IMAGE
The fact that Jesus is called " the first born from the dead is an indicator that others are to follow.
*Who are those?*

In col. 15:47 we read that He is the second man. Of course, Adam was the first man, he begat children, so also the second Adam begat children through death. ROM. 12:2, ROM. 6:3-5.

Hence by being born again and being baptized, we are born into the very likeness of Jesus. In other words, if Jesus is God, then we are gods.
Therefore in conclusion I say we are gods, I am a god. Praise God 🙌🏼

Question: What is eternal life?

Answer: that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent.

This means that the location of eternal life is in your knowledge of God the Father and God the Son.

If I should ask, " how well do you know him?" You might say perfectly well.

👉That you carried it ✝️ yesterday does not mean you won't need to carry it today.

👉When you ask for daily bread, don't forget also to ask for grace to carry daily cross.

👉Everyday comes with its own cross.

👉 Only identify them and know which one is your own.

👉Yes, you need to carry it, but you're to drop it at the feet of Christ before you go to bed.

👉 Child of God, as you are putting down today's cross🙏 prepare your mind for tomorrow's own. THAT IS HOW WE SURVIVE. May His grace abound with us all in Jesus name. Amen 🙏🏽

WHY THE NEED FOR UNITY OF THE BODY

Text: John 17:20-21
Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

The unity of the body of Christ is a mystery that has been he power to humble the proud and make them believe in Jesus Christ.
Of all that Jesus could ask of the Father as a man about to die was "that they may be one as we are one" (John 17:11,21,22)

How important this must be to him after his death! What does he want it for? Is it a small thing that he took our place and died like the wicked?
To me he has done more than enough to prove his love, but no! He won't stop there. Or He should have just asked the father to take away from this world any one that believe in him just immediately after they believe. That would have made sense to any natural man, but he didn't! What does He want?? What will their staying back after believing and becoming one do for him?

In John 17:21 He said that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. This tells me that there is so much wisdom to convince and convert in the unity of the believers that we have not known and can not known until we begin practice oneness.

1. In Ephesians 3:9-11 says " and to make men see what is the fellowship of the mystery(the united body) which from the beginning of the of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.
2. But most interestingly, Jesus did not just want us to be one to prove to the world's principalities and powers that God sent him and end it there. He went further to ask that " his wife, the general assembly, his body, the one that he has loved with his life" may be with him where he is.

The question is, where is he?

He is mingled with the father (. John 17 : 21) and he wants his wife to be as mingled as well. What a love! What an intoxicating love!!

THE COMPANY OF ESTHER MINISTRIES

The company of Esther is a three - fold ministry with the aim of delivering men from darkness into marvelous light of God and to help believers grow from infancy to maturity in the things and ways of God Almighty and to contribute her quarter for the unity of the body of Christ

Hence,the company of Esther has under her roof the following:

2. Esther Intercessory Ministry

3. Esther Evangelism and Outreach Ministry

Ministry Vision

Our vision and only vision in the company of Esther is to continue in the finished work of our Lord Jesus Christ. To deliver men from darkness into his marvelous light to bind up the broken heart, to proclaim liberty to the captives and opening of the prison to them that are bound, to proclaim acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all that mourn, to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord that he might be glorified (To win souls into His kingdom and keep them till he comes) Amen;

For this reason, we shall be moving from place to place preaching and doing the work as the Lord lays it in our heart.

Also, we hope to render a helping hand to growing ministries as we believe that we have same vision because the basic vision for the church of Jesus Christ is to win souls and glorify the name of the Lord here on earth till we all be gathered together in him. In this case, we hope to help in following areas;

Prayers(intercession) for the body.

Holding revival programs.

Seeing that the soul won in the field during our crusades are distributed to the ministries around who participated in sponsoring the crusade.

We shall also be visiting these ministries to share in their love and see how they are doing.

*PRAYING THE VERY NATURE OF GOD*

We shall be praying into our lives the very nature of God that we may be able to fulfill his will for us as a family. Before the prayers I just want us to look at some things about the nature of God and how important it's that we have it as a family.

*WHAT'S THE NATURE OF GOD?*
We all know that God is dynamic in nature. He is;
Love
Life
Peace
Terrible
Consuming fire
Righteous
Merciful etc.
(read, 1Jh 1:5, 1Jh 4:8, Judg 6:24...)

But today we shall be looking at the Merciful/ Mercy nature of God.
Though before looking at Mercy, we will have to look at "Love" so that we can have a good understanding of this nature, "mercy".

*What is love?*
1 Love is God 1Jh 4:7-8
2 Love is long-suffering 1Cor.13:4
3 love is kind
4 love is the ability to overlook offence
Love is selflessness 1cor. 10:24,33
5 love is consistent with standard ( does not behave unseemly)
6 Love thinks no evil of anyone
7 Love does not rejoice when people do wickedness
8 love is not proud nor envious
9 love believe all things, is simple
10 love bears all things...

But the Bible made it clear in1 Cor. 13 verse 3 that, it is possible for someone to give everything he has to the poor and even give his body to be burned yet has no love.
The question now is, what then is love?? How can we know when it's love?

Love has feeling. Love can not be said to be where there is no feelings of it. This feeling of love is the basics of love expression.
The feeling is what we call COMPASSION.
Compassion is the spirit of love, the very spirit of God in a man that prompts him to go out of his way to do things for a person which ordinarily he would not have been able to do.
When all that we had seen above as love and its nature is manifested without the feelings of love, spirit of love or compassion we say it is with hypocrisy ROM 12:9. This only happens when ambition is the motivating factor of such expressions.
Naturally, it's impossible for man to have compassion because of his nature.
The Bible says;
1 Nothing good dwells in man Rom 7:18
2 man is deceitful above all things Jer.17:9
3 Man is wicked and his thought is wicked continually Gen 6:5
4 man works only evil Gal 5:19
5 No man is righteous Rom. 3:10-18...

The evil nature of man can never allow him put away feelings for what he wants and have feelings for another man's need except God takes over him , kill his "self" (flesh) and put in him His own spirit of Compassion.

Now *What is Mercy?*

Mercy is simply the deeper dimensions of love.
Love is most times expressed towards family and friends, people close to us and deserving of it. But mercy goes beyond this.

👉Mercy is showing love to someone you have the power and right to punish.

👉Mercy is when you decide to forgive that man that killed your mother.

👉Mercy is when you can still love that wife that insulted and slapped you in public when you had nothing.

👉Mercy is helping that your uncle who refused to pay your school fees

👉Mercy is when you can still reach out to that witch who killed all your children and afterward, repented.

👉Mercy is that very nature of God that had power to destroy us for our sins, instead, it chose to save us

👉Mercy is that part of a pastor that would make him forget the false accusations of a member, the wickedness of those he prayed for and still go down on his knees to make intercession for them in their time of distress, put a call across just to know how they do.

👉 Mercy is the nature of God every true child of God is expected to have if God must be in control of his emotion, decisions and actions.

*WHY DO WE NEED TO HAVE THIS NATURE IN US*

We need to have this nature of God called Mercy as a family because without it,

1. it will be impossible for us to forgive one another

2. Also, it will be impossible for us to be united

3. If we're not united, it will be very easy for the enemies to destroy us

4. Lack of love and unity can hinder the plan of God for us as a family

5. Many of the problems we've had in life or are having at the moment can be tracked down to family crisis or failure

In conclusion, let us understand that we're one family and that everyone's energy, no matter how little is needed to make a difference.
We may have offended one another in many ways that are difficult to forgive, one thing I know is this, if only we can ask God to put in us that His very nature that enables one to forgive, love and live in unity, surely, he will do it for us.

*Prayer points*
1. Let us first have a reflection of the kind of nature we have as a person, Christian, a member of this family

2. Let us with a sincere heart of repentance, confess our sins to God and ask God for mercy

*Pray like these*

1. Father give me the grace to be merciful like you in the name of Jesus Christ

2. From today, I reject and renounce every nature in me that is not of God in the name of Jesus

3. Every inherited nature in me that would not help me keep a happy home, leave my life now in the name of Jesus Christ

4. Every spirit of pride speaking in my life, be devoured by fire in the name of Jesus Christ

5. You voice of wickedness controlling my thoughts and imaginations, what are you waiting for be silenced forever in the mighty name of Jesus Christ

6. As a member of this family, by the covenant binding me to this alter, the light of my glory must illuminate Uwara as a whole and other parts of the world in the name of Jesus Christ.
7. In the name of Jesus Christ I receive the grace to be a good mother, father, daughter, son, uncle, aunty, wife, husband, indigene, citizen... In the name of Jesus Christ.

8. Begin to thank God for answered prayers

*Intercession*

1. Let us pray for those that are sick that God may heal them.

2. Pray for the ones looking for the fruit of the womb that God may bless them according to their heart desire

3. Pray for businesses that God may bless them.

4. Pray for homes and marriages that the love and provisions of God will dominate.

5. Pray for our youths, that God will preserve them in the part of righteousness.

6. Pray that the peace of God will reign in our country, Ukraine and other parts of the world.

7. Let's begin to worship, thank and give him praise for answering our prayers. In Jesus mighty name we have prayed. Amen.

John 4:39, 42 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.
And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

First the people believed because of the woman's message. But her message was to introduce them to Christ that they may have their own personal encounter with him.
She was able to achieve her purpose because she made Jesus a focus in her message.
From the testimonies of the people you can tell that not even the woman could change their mind of their encounter with Jesus because their believe in him was based on his words which they heard.

As a preacher, be you a GO, Evangelist, Pastor, Prophet, Apostle... Your preaching should be aimed at bringing people to have a personal encounter with Jesus that would change their believe so much that even you can not afford to change it. A believe that is based on what they have seen, read and understood from the Word of God through the help of the Holy Spirit.

In other words, if your teachings, no matter how long you have taught, still make your followers base their believe on what you said and not what the scriptures truly said. Then your message has not done a perfect work of conversion or invitation to know Christ our Lord.

It's a very big concern that in most of our big-old-places of worship with so many number of worshippers who have worshipped for years, you could still her " in our church we don't" or "our GO said we should or should not" as the bases for their believe or life style.
This is one of the reasons we find it difficult to get true believers or worshippers everywhere...

I pray that from today our messages would bring hunger that would cause people to study the Word with the mind of " that I may know Him and the power of his resurrection", and our prayer of intercession be " that Christ may reveal himself personal to his people through His Word".

Also, I pray for grace, that when our work is tried it would not be consumed in Jesus name amen.

Good morning my family and friends. Hope you are all doing well wherever you are right now. To God Almighty be the glory for that.

My people, I Nnenne, with a deep concern for the state of our country wishes to use this medium to cry out to everyone of us to pray in sack clothing to God for His mercy over ourland.

People are dying, innocent blood is being poured out on our streets and bushes on daily basis, our pastors and prophets are still telling us "God has a plan to bless you if only you can give him so so so and so amount to build him a place of worship, buy buses etc for the furtherance of the gospel"

*How can we buid in time of "war" ?

*Why are we building for the enemies to destroy?

*Have we not come to understand that God is not happy with the church and the church leaders?

At this point, the best thing to do is it the showing off wealth, beauty, dancing steps and so on?

The Bible says in
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

When are the church leaders going the gather the church as one body to pray when their their way of leadership has caused disunity amongst the body of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us take responsibility as individual Christian to pray for our land that God may show us mercy again.😭
