Text: Philipians 2:20-22; II Timothy 4: 10

Everyone prefers assets over liabilities, because assets are valuable and so it is protected.

Characteristics of an asset.

* Value: It is not an asset if it has no value. Assets add value. 2 Corinthians 13:5
* Asset Appreciates: Asset does not depreciate .
* Useful: Assets are useful; Useful people are used.
* Easy to use: An asset is easy to use

Who is an asset?
An asset is someone that can be depended on. Can you be depended on? Job 1:6-10 . An asset is someone who helps to achieve things fast and with ease. An asset defends you. An asset helps you grow. An asset is someone who has relevant skills to help you grow.

How to become an asset
1. Develop yourself:
(a) Be a Reader 2 Timothy 4: 13
(b) Take responsibilities
(c) Observe and learn
(d) Invest in yourself
2. Be available: An assets' presence is valuable Proverbs 18:24
3. Be a contributor: Don't be quiet on the table
4. Be Teachable

How to position for divine compensation

* By One’s Presentation/Appearance: Present yourself well, look good and smell good. It attracts good fortune. Ruth 3:3; Matthew 22:12

* Consistency: Consistency is a rare product, it is scarce but important. Consistency is what people watch that makes them tell you what works. Ruth 1:26-19

* Patience: Patience is a fruit of the spirit that helps you to achieve overtime

* Obedience: A very important key that should not be played with. When you obey instructions, only the best happens to you. Ruth 3:5

Principles To Successful Relationships; The Power Of Honor
Honor is high esteemed, great respect, and value placed.
Honor can pull out of a man, all he has never thought of ever saying out.
Honor open doors (Malachi 3:10, 1:6)

Relationship is quite important as much as people are important and to honor people is to honor God.

Obedience, attendance and service to God are ways we show expression of honor. Place value on your relationship with God and people, while representing God well.
