*66th INDEPENDENCE DAY - PRAYERS FOR NIGERIA*

Psams 122:6
"Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee"

1. Thank God for Nigeria - despite the challenges, Nigeria remains

2. Thank God for His numerous benefits - huge natural resources, arable land and brilliant people

3. Father, please forgive us all our sins - corruption in high and low places, fake products and scales, shedding of innocent blood etc

4. Father, please let your mercy prevail over Nigeria

5. Father, please shine your light throughout Nigeria and let darkness be a total stranger to our land

6. Father, please set Nigeria free totally from local and international oppressors. We are tired of paper independence without real progress

7. Father, enough is enough. Please arrest all sponsors of violence and bloodshed in Nigeria

8. Father, please give Nigeria a new beginning - new beginning of righteousness, peace and progress

9. Father, please uproot any one who will not allow Nigeria to make progress in the right direction - whoever and wherever they may be.

10. Prophetic declaration - In the mighty name of Jesus, Nigeria shall rise again, peace of God which passes human understanding shall reign in Nigeria. Nigeria shall triumph over all enemies of peace and progress, it shall be well with Nigeria as God turns away her captivity etc

*PRAYER FOR NIGERIA - 3rd THURSDAY OF THE MONTH*

Numbers 14:28 *Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:*

Matthew 16:19
*And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.*

Good morning Brethren,

We thank God who has preserved us to see 3rd THURSDAY of this month. *This is the day to pray for Nigeria*

*WHY DO WE HAVE TO PRAY FOR NIGERIA?*

Above Bible passages - Num. 14:28 and Matt 16:19 have given us the answer. - *Nigeria is what we call her and will be what we desire*.

If there is any point in time we should pray for Nigeria with all seriousness, it is NOW. From government to government and from year to year things have been going from bad to worse. *The only way to get a true healing for Nigeria is to approach God for help.*

*TODAY's PRAYERS*

Today, we are going to thank Almighty God. Even with our situation? Yes. We are to thank God in all things and all situations! (Thes. 5:18)

*Prayers*

* Thank God for whom He is - the Alpha and Omega, the one who truly rules in the affairs of men and nations

* Thank God for entity called Nigeria. To humans it must have been an error but nothing happens behind God

*. Thank God for all the goodness of God for Nigeria - the good soil, clement weather, intelligent people, abundant natural resources

* Thank God for His ability to turn things around even when it's obvious to all humans there is no hope

*. Thank God for His mercies concerning Nigeria. It it were not for God's mercies Nigeria would have been consumed

*. Thank God for His keen interest in rebuilding Nigeria. Thank Him for sending messages to and concerning Nigeria. God only sends messages to people when He is willing to help

*. Thank God in advance that He would help us and restore His own divine agenda for Nigeria

*. Remember to thank God for specific victories for Nigeria in the past

*God bless you richly as you participate and encourage others to do so*

*NIGERIA SHALL BE GREAT AGAIN AND EVEN BECOME GREATER IN JESUS NAME*

Shalom
