DIVINE CONNECTIONS

Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend (Proverbs 27:17).

God is bringing divine connections into your life. These are not random relationships; they're ordained appointments. The people God connects you with will sharpen you and help you fulfill your destiny.

Divine connections open doors that you couldn't open on your own. They bring opportunities, resources, and wisdom that accelerate your progress.

Position yourself to receive divine connections. Your divine connections are coming!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank You for divine connections. You are bringing the right people into my life at the right time. These relationships sharpen me and help me fulfill my destiny, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

BREAKING LIMITATIONS

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us (Ephesians 3:20).

God wants to do exceeding abundantly above all you can ask or think. But limitations in your thinking create limitations in your experience. When you break mental limitations, you position yourself for unlimited blessings.

Many Christians limit God with their small thinking. But God is able to do far beyond your wildest imagination.

Break every limitation today. Stop thinking small. Expand your expectations, enlarge your vision, and prepare for exceeding abundant blessings!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I break every limitation in my life. I refuse to think small or limit You with unbelief. You are able to do exceeding abundantly above all I ask or think. I receive unlimited blessings, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

POSITIONED FOR GREATNESS

But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head (Psalm 3:3).

God is positioning you for greatness. He's lifting your head, elevating your status, and promoting you to new levels. What looked like an ending is actually a new beginning.

The Lord is your glory and the lifter of your head. You don't promote yourself; He promotes you. You don't fight for recognition; He gives you favor.

Hold your head high today. You're not defeated; you're destined for greatness. Your season of elevation is here!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank You that You are the lifter of my head. You position me for greatness, elevate me to new levels, and promote me supernaturally. I am positioned for promotion and greatness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

THE POWER OF GRATITUDE

In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Gratitude is a powerful force that opens the door to more blessings. When you give thanks in everything, you're acknowledging God's goodness and expressing faith that He's working all things for your good.

Ingratitude closes the door to blessings, but thanksgiving opens it wide. When you maintain a thankful heart, you create an atmosphere where God's blessings flow freely.

Be grateful today. Thank God for what you have while believing for what you don't have yet. Thank Him in good times and in challenging times. Gratitude is your key to overflow!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I give thanks to You in everything. I am grateful for all You've done, all You're doing, and all You will do. My gratitude opens doors for more blessings. I focus on Your goodness, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

UNWAVERING FAITH

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised) (Hebrews 10:23).

Your faith must be unwavering if you want to see results. Don't believe one moment and doubt the next. Hold fast to your profession of faith without wavering because God is faithful.

Wavering faith produces unstable results. But unwavering faith produces consistent manifestations. When you stand firm on God's Word regardless of circumstances, you position yourself to receive everything He's promised.

Hold fast today. Maintain your confession. Keep believing. Don't let circumstances shake your faith. God is faithful!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I hold fast to my profession of faith without wavering. I don't doubt Your Word or question Your faithfulness. I maintain my confession and keep believing. You are faithful, and what You promised, You will perform, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

LIVING IN EXPECTATION

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

Expectation is faith in action. When you expect something from God, you're not just hoping—you're confidently anticipating because you believe His promises. Your level of expectation determines your level of reception.

God wants you to live with high expectations. Don't approach life with a defeated mindset or low expectations. Lift your eyes and see what God is doing.

Expect great things this month. Expect doors to open, opportunities to come, finances to increase, and breakthroughs to manifest. Your expectation activates your faith!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I live with high expectations. I expect great things from You. I expect doors to open, opportunities to come, finances to increase, and breakthroughs to manifest. My expectation activates my faith, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

WALKING IN AUTHORITY

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10:19).

You have been given authority over all the power of the enemy. This is not a future promise; it's a present reality. You have power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Authority means you have the legal right to enforce God's will on earth. You're His representative, carrying His power and backing. When you speak in Jesus' Name, demons must obey and circumstances must change.

Exercise your authority today. Don't accept anything that contradicts God's Word. Speak to situations and command them to align with God's will. Walk in your God-given authority!

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank You for giving me authority over all the power of the enemy. I tread on serpents and scorpions, and nothing hurts me. I exercise my authority in Christ, commanding situations to align with Your will, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

OPENING WORD

Good morning, church! Somebody shout hallelujah!

I need you to sit up this morning, because this is not a regular Sunday. This morning, you need a Word — not advice, not motivation, not a nice quote to post on your status. You need a Word from the Lord. And a Word from the Lord can change your life forever.

Turn with me to Isaiah 9:8–10. The Lord sent a Word, and that Word moved through Jacob, and it worked. It was not idle. It went to work. That is the nature of the Word of God — once it is released over your life, it starts to work.

I want you to know this morning: Jacob was a businessman. Abraham was a businessman. And there was a day the Word of God got hold of their business and turned it around. What God did for Jacob, what God did for Abraham, He wants to do for you. Not next year — today.

The Word of God will change your business today. Say it with me: "My business is receiving a Word today!"

Let us pray

"This morning, the Word of God is transforming my life and my business, in Jesus' name."

Somebody say Amen.

TOPIC: THE DANGER OF POVERTY

I want to be honest with you this morning — plain, direct, no sugar-coating. We are talking about poverty, and the danger that it carries.

Look around you. Look at the people running after ritual money. What did they achieve at the end of the day? Look at the ones doing yahoo, doing internet fraud, cutting corners in the dark — what is their end? I ask you this morning: has ritual ever built a lasting home? Has yahoo ever bought anybody real peace?

No. Because the answer to poverty was never in the dark. The Bible tells us plainly in Zechariah 4:6 — "Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts." To leave poverty behind is not by struggling in your own power. It is not by cutting corners. Proverbs 10:22 settles it — it is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it. Anything you add sorrow to get, you will spend the rest of your life mourning it.

So if it is not power, what is it? Church, what you need is uncommon favour. Turn to Esther 2:17 — a girl taken from obscurity found favour above every other woman in that palace, and it changed her whole story in one day. That is what I am asking God for you this morning: uncommon favour. Not the common one that everybody is struggling for — the uncommon one, the one that lifts you above your mates in one move.

May God move you — from lack to abundance — this morning.

THREE BATTLES WE MUST BREAK TODAY

Church, before this message goes further, I want us to fight three battles this morning and break three kingdoms working against your life. Stand on your feet.

1. RELATIVE POVERTY
This is the poverty that compares you to everybody around you and always finds you lacking. The kingdom of relative poverty assigned against your life — let that kingdom be broken this morning, in the name of Jesus!

2. SITUATIONAL POVERTY
This is the poverty that comes from a season, a setback, a sudden situation that pulled you down. Every situation holding you in lack — scatter now, in Jesus' name!

3. GENERATIONAL POVERTY
This is the one that has followed your father's house and your mother's house, calling your name before you were even born. The kingdom of generational poverty that is calling your name — I command it to scatter, in the mighty name of Jesus!

Somebody shout: "My poverty story ends today!"

MONEY AND THE MIND

Let me settle something. Money cannot do everything — I agree with that. But let us not lie to ourselves: a major part of your life needs money. Don't let anybody spiritualize you into pretending otherwise.

Proverbs 19:4 tells us wealth adds friends, but the poor is separated from his neighbour. Proverbs 14:20 tells us the poor is hated even by his own neighbour, but the rich has many friends. I did not write the Bible — I am only reading what it says.

Here is the truth: prosperity and poverty start in the mind. Before it shows in your account, it has already been decided in your thinking. Money gives honour. Lack of money gives shame. And here is the danger — money gives peace of mind to serve God and live. When a man has no money, understand this: it becomes possible for Satan to win that man's heart one day. Not certain — possible. Because desperation opens doors that contentment would have kept shut.

I remember — one day the Lord told me plainly: if this church does not give, it will be poor. And that word woke me up. It shifted something in me.

I also remember my biological father telling me: "Abiodun, don't love money, but like money." There is wisdom there. Proverbs 13:22 says a good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children. You cannot leave what you do not have.

And I need you to hear this clearly — Jesus wants you to have money. Read 2 Corinthians 8:9 — He who was rich became poor for your sake, so that through His poverty, you might become rich. That is not a prosperity slogan. That is the Gospel.

SEVEN CHALLENGES OF POVERTY

Church, I want to walk you through why poverty is dangerous — not just uncomfortable, dangerous. Follow me through these seven points.

1. Poverty enslaves people.
Proverbs 22:7 — the rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender. Poverty will make you lose your position. It will put you under people who ought to have been your equals.

2. Poverty brings separation.
Proverbs 19:4 again — even a man's own family and friends will begin to put distance between themselves and him.

3. Poverty brings heavy sorrow and insult.
Read the story in Ruth 1:20–21. Naomi came back and said, "Don't call me Naomi, call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt bitterly with me." Poverty will let your own wife talk to you anyhow. It strips the honour from a man's own house.

4. Poverty silences you.
Proverbs 18:23 — the poor man pleads, but the rich man answers roughly. When you have nothing, your voice carries less weight, even when you are right.

5. Poverty costs you sleep and costs you loss.
Proverbs 20:13 warns against loving sleep, lest you come to poverty — but the reverse is also true. Poverty itself will rob you of peaceful sleep, and where there is no rest, there is loss upon loss.

6. Poverty makes you follow empty people.
Proverbs 28:19 — he who follows vain, empty pursuits will have poverty enough. Poverty pushes you toward shortcuts and toward people who cannot lead you anywhere good, because you are desperate for anything that looks like a way out.

7. Poverty causes risk-taking — the kind that leads to sin.
Proverbs 13:18 — poverty and shame come to him who refuses instruction. A desperate man will take a desperate risk. That is the door through which many good people have fallen into things they never imagined they would do.

This is why I said poverty is not a small matter. It is not only about lack — it is about what lack can push a person into.

THE MIRACLE PATTERN — LUKE 5:1–5

Turn with me to Luke 5:1–5. Peter had fished all night and caught nothing. Empty nets, empty hands, tired body. But Jesus stepped into his boat and said, "Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught."

Peter had a choice — to stay in the logic of his empty night, or to obey a fresh Word. He said, "Nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net." That "nevertheless" is what I need from you this morning. Whatever your night looked like, whatever your business has or has not caught — at His Word, let down your net again.

And then, Genesis 2:19 — God brought every living creature to Adam to see what he would call them, and whatever he called each one, that became its name. There is authority in what you call a thing. So I say to you:

Name this week. This week is your week.

If you call connection — connection will come. If you call increase — increase will answer. Stop naming your week after your fear. Name it after your faith.

CLOSING PRAYERS AND DECLARATIONS

Let's stand together. Lift your hands.

- Every barrier standing against me this week — I scatter you now, in the name of Jesus!
- Every kingdom of relative, situational, and generational poverty — broken, in Jesus' name!
- Uncommon favour, locate me this morning — in Jesus' name!
- From lack to abundance — Lord, move me now!
- This week, I call connection — connection, come!
- At Your Word, Lord, I let down my net again — and I expect a full catch!

Say it with your whole chest: "This is my week. This is my season. Poverty, you are not my portion. In the mighty name of Jesus — Amen!"

God bless you. Somebody greet your neighbour and tell them: your business is about to change.

THE JOY OF THE LORD

The joy of the LORD is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10).

The joy of the Lord is your strength. This is not natural happiness that depends on circumstances; this is supernatural joy that comes from knowing God and trusting His faithfulness. When you have this joy, you remain strong regardless of what you're facing.

The enemy wants to steal your joy because he knows that joyless Christians are powerless Christians. But when you maintain your joy, you remain strong, confident, and victorious.

Rejoice today—not because everything is perfect, but because God is faithful. Rejoice because you're saved, blessed, and loved. Let the joy of the Lord be your strength!

PRAYER
Dear Father, the joy of the Lord is my strength. I rejoice in You always. This joy sustains me through challenges, energizes me when weary, and keeps me strong. I walk in supernatural joy daily, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
