📖 JOSHUA 23 — FAITHFULNESS TO THE COVENANT AND JOSHUA’S FAREWELL EXHORTATION
🔹 Joshua's Charge to Israel's Leaders: Courageous Obedience and Warning Against Idolatry (vv. 1–16)
A long time after the Lord gives Israel rest from their surrounding enemies, an aged Joshua gathers all Israel—their elders, heads, judges, and officers. He reminds them that God fought for them and will continue to drive out the remaining nations. Joshua charges them to be very courageous to keep and do all written in the Book of the Law of Moses without turning aside. He solemnly warns that cleaving to idolatrous remnant nations through intermarriage will make those nations traps and snares to them, leading to destruction from the good land.
✨ Insight: Kingdom greatness is sustained by total obedience and steadfast loyalty to God’s covenant. The Lord who fights for you requires uncompromised devotion. Guarding your heart against spiritual compromise guarantees that every promise spoken over your destiny remains active and unshakeable.

📖 EZEKIEL 30 — THE DAY OF THE LORD UPON EGYPT AND ALLIED NATIONS
🔹 Prophecy of Judgment on Egypt, Destruction of Her Allies, and the Breaking of Pharaoh’s Arms (vv. 1–26)
Ezekiel prophesies the coming "Day of the Lord"—a time of cloudy judgment upon Egypt and her allies, including Cush, Put, Lud, and Arabia. The sword shall sweep across Egypt, destroying her pride, cities, and wealth. The Lord declares He will break the arms of Pharaoh so he can no longer hold a sword, while strengthening the arms of the King of Babylon to execute divine judgment. Egypt will be scattered among the nations, knowing that Jehovah is the sovereign Lord.
✨ Insight: No earthly superpower or human alliance can resist the sovereign hand of God when judgment falls upon pride and self-sufficiency. God breaks the arm of the wicked to deliver His people and demonstrate His absolute authority over the earth.

📖 HEBREWS 3 — JESUS THE FAITHFUL SON, SUPERIOR TO MOSES, AND WARNING AGAINST UNBELIEF
🔹 Christ’s Superiority over Moses, the Heavenly Calling, and Guarding Against an Evil Heart of Unbelief (vv. 1–19)
The writer exhorts holy brethren to consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession. While Moses was faithful in all God's house as a servant, Christ is faithful over His own house as a Son, whose house we are if we hold fast our confidence to the end. Quoting Psalm 95, the Holy Spirit warns against hardening our hearts as Israel did in the wilderness provocation. Believers are urged to exhort one another daily so no one is hardened by sin's deceitfulness or fails to enter God’s rest through unbelief.
✨ Insight: True greatness in Christ requires an unwavering, believing heart that holds fast to faith until the end. Jesus is greater than Moses; He does not merely serve in the house, He built it. Guarding against doubt and encouraging fellow believers daily keeps your heart soft to enter the fullness of God's promised rest.
