To the Sotoyinbo Family
From The African Church St. Paul's, Legun Town
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mama Marian Olusola Sotoyinbo, wife of our beloved Baba Ijo, Chief Engr. Deacon Shylon Onatolu Sotoyinbo. She was a pillar of love, care, and guidance in our midst, known for her selfless nature, mentoring spirit, and role modeling. Her contributions towards the progress of the church are immeasurable, and we are forever grateful.
As Vicar, I personally experienced her love and care, not just for me, but also for my wife and children. Though she resided in Ibadan, she would join us in Legun for the Adult Harvest celebration. We had the privilege of visiting her last Thursday and praying for her, anointing her with oil. Sadly, she passed away on Friday.
May God comfort Baba Ijo, Chief Engr. Deacon Shylon Onatolu Sotoyinbo, and the entire family during this difficult time. May He grant you peace, strength, and comfort.
May her legacy live on through the lives she touched, and may her soul rest in peace and rise in glory.
Amen."
