Failing to live up to our world's perceptions of success, both monetary and acceptance, can feel disheartening when we are surrounded by content that glorifies these things. Reminders of what Christianity looks like is encouraging. The hate and persecution we face now is only temporary. Continuing to fight for human rights and religious freedom as we look forward to a future of endless freedom and peace is a fight we can take on.

Representing 1% of the Algerian population as opposed to the 99% Muslim faith, Christians face minority discrimination and persecution through biased procedures and laws, preventing not only freedom of religion, but also freedom of daily life.

Algeria has closed dozens of Protestant churches affiliated with the Protestant Church of Algeria (EPA), leaving hundreds with nowhere to worship. Prayer and action are desperately to support our fellow Christians as they navigate this persecution.
