THE WAY OF ANGER (PART 1)

Ecclesiastes 7:9 (KJV)....... Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.

Do you want to escape being called a fool in life and every decision? Then avoid the way of anger.

The Bible tells us that the one who gets angry easily is a fool because anger rests in the bosom of fools. Did you notice what it says? It says, ‘Anger rests in the bosom of fools.’

This means the heart or mind of fools is the room of anger. It means that anger occupies the sitting room of a fool.

How many lives have been destroyed by this thing called anger? How many homes, marriages, ministries, relationships have been destroyed by anger? Some people think they will win an award for being angry.

Do you know the things you lose by being angry? No matter how much you pray in tongues and see visions and give prophecies, if you can’t control your temper, God can't trust you with so much. Selah.

Prayer:
Oh, I cry to you for help today, help me put a check on my temper sweet Holy Spirit. Amen.

Proverbs 21:14 (MSG)....... A quietly given gift soothes an irritable person; a heartfelt present cools a hot temper.

DAILY DEVOTIONAL, 13TH AUGUST 2026.

THE LEADING OF THE SPIRIT (PART 2).

1 Kings 19:11-12 (KJV)...... And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the LORD. And, behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the LORD; but the LORD was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the LORD was not in the earthquake:

[12] and after the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice.

I know a lot of believers who have missed the voice of God and the leading of the Spirit because to them, it is not dramatic. What comes to your mind every time you hear someone say: I hear God say to me, Or I heard the voice of the Lord.

Majority of the time, we think they heard thunder or something very dramatic happened. And this is why we sometimes don't accept God can speak today.

Anyways, our theme scripture introduces us to another way through which the Spirit leads us today. And it is called THROUGH THE STILL SMALL VOICE.

Sometimes, there are believers who say things like, 'I don't know if it was my mind or something else.'

This still small voice speaks to us on the inside through our conscience, but then how do I judge if it is of God?

- It won't contradict God's word.

- And it will be peaceful.

Prayer:
I am grateful Lord for this your counsel. And by this, I know I will never miss it again. Thank you father. Amen.
