INTRODUCTION
Distinguished Gentlemen of the Press,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Beloved Brothers and Sisters.
It is with immense joy and gratitude to Almighty God, the Great Deliverer of the oppressed, that
His Most Eminence, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo (JP), formally announces
the release and safe return of our 151 members who were abducted from Iburu, Kajuri Local
Government Area, Kaduna State, on January 18, 2026.
This joyous news was confirmed today, Monday, February 2, 2026, through a detailed report by
our Liaison Officer in Kaduna, Senior Special Apostle I. A. Adeyemi, and Senior Special Apostle
Pastor Solomon Katanga.
A VICTORY FOR DIALOGUE AND PRAYER
This is a testament to the power of unwavering faith and the efficacy of strategic engagement.
Following my emergency visit to Kaduna and subsequent high-level deliberations, we have
witnessed the intervention of God through human instruments to bring our children, parents, and
worshippers back from the shadows of captivity.
SPECIAL COMMENDATION TO THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF KADUNA STATE
On behalf of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O and the entire body
of Christ, I wish to express our profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kaduna State,
His Excellency, Senator Uba Sani, Mr. Sani Liman Kila, the Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor;
Rev. Ishaya Jangado, the Senior Special Assistant on Religious Affairs (Christian Matters)
I specifically extend gratitude to the Governor through his Chief of Staff and the Senior Special
Adviser (SSA) to the Executive Governor on Christian Matters for the reception and the sincere
synergy established during our meeting. The Governor’s commitment to dialogue, his
responsiveness to our cries, and the seamless coordination of state resources played a pivotal role
in this breakthrough. This successful outcome demonstrates the possibilities when religious
leadership and the State collaborate in transparency and mutual respect for the safety of all
citizens.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF GLOBAL SUPPORT
We acknowledge the prayers of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the President of the
Organization of African Instituted Churches (OAIC), His Most Eminence, Prophet Akin Adewo, FCA,

The Church has already mobilized its welfare and medical teams to provide immediate psychosocial
support and care for our returned members and their families.
We continue to pray for the peace of Kaduna State and Nigeria at large. Let this be a turning point
for our nation—where light triumphs over darkness, and where the safety of every Nigerian,
regardless of their place of worship, becomes an unshakable reality.

The Supreme Head of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, His Most Eminence Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Ab...
28/01/2026

The Supreme Head of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, His Most Eminence Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Adewale Alogbo JP, has declared that the Church is entering a new phase of renewed visibility, spiritual authority, and national relevance as it prepares for its 2026 Annual General Conference (AGC).

Speaking on Monday during a press conference ahead of the AGC at the Seraphim Land, Ogun State, Prophet Alogbo described the forthcoming conference as a defining moment for the Church beyond its centenary celebration. He explained that the 2026 AGC, themed “An Unhidden City” (Matthew 5:14), is a prophetic mandate calling the Church to shine boldly in holiness, unity, and national impact.

According to him, the theme reflects God’s call for the Church to rise above fear, division, and complacency, and to manifest Christ’s light through moral clarity, prayer, and apostolic purity. He noted that the Cherubim and Seraphim Church, preserved by God for over a century, is not retreating into history but stepping forward into renewed relevance.

Prophet Alogbo stated that the conference has been carefully structured to provide spiritual direction and practical guidance for both the Church and the nation. Planned activities include plenary teaching sessions on faith and servant leadership, leadership and ministers’ forums to strengthen governance and accountability, as well as youth, women, and empowerment sessions focused on vocation, innovation, and moral discipline. He added that the AGC will also feature prayer and intercessory sessions for peace, security, and national progress, alongside strategic dialogues on the future of the Church beyond its centenary era.

Addressing the state of the nation, the Church leader expressed deep concern over worsening insecurity across Nigeria, particularly the rising cases of kidnapping. He disclosed that 151 members of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church remain in captivity following their abduction during a Sunday service on January 18, 2026, in Wali, Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. While commending the Federal Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for efforts to address security challenges, Prophet Alogbo urged the government to intensify action, including equipping security agencies with modern tools and strengthening operational capacity. He warned that fear and panic now define daily life for many Nigerians, as travel across major roads has become increasingly unsafe. The Church also acknowledged recent reductions in food prices but called on the government to ensure sustained relief for citizens. On economic reforms such as fuel subsidy removal, the Church urged renewed efforts to cushion the hardship faced by Nigerians.

Prophet Alogbo further advised the Federal Government to strengthen collaboration with religious leaders, noting their closeness to grassroots communities and their ability to mobilize cooperation and promote peace nationwide. As Nigeria approaches another round of elections, the Church urged political actors to ensure a level playing field and avoid violence, bitterness, and divisive politics.

The spiritual head of the host church, Dr. Gbenga Aluko further affirmed that all preparations have been concluded for this year’s conference, assuring members and the general public of a well-coordinated event. He said the Church, working closely with the National Executive Council (NEC), has put every structure in place to ensure a spiritually impactful and orderly gathering, expressing confidence that the 2026 Annual General Conference will be an unforgettable experience for all participants.

In his conclusion, the Supreme Head called on members and leaders of the Church to guard unity, embrace forgiveness, and recommit to their shared mission, stressing that a divided Church cannot heal a divided nation.

He assured that under his leadership, the Cherubim and Seraphim Church would play a more active role in national discourse while continuing to stand for justice, dialogue, and the sanctity of human life.

PRESS STATEMENT
Esteemed Members of the Press,
Distinguished Seraphs, and Believers Worldwide,
Greetings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We give all glory, honor, and
thanksgiving to God Almighty, as the Holy Scripture instructs us to give thanks in
all c i r c u m s t a n c e s .
The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O has received
with profound sorrow and heavy hearts the distressing news of the attack and
kidnapping of some of our cherished Church members in the Northern region of
Nigeria. This incident transpired in the community of Kurmin Wali within the Iburu
District of Afogo, Kajuru Local Government, Kaduna. On Sunday, 18th January
2026, two of our Churches, Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church, Wali in Kajuru
Local Government, were attacked by bandits. During this attack, one hundred and
fifty-one (151) of our members and twenty-six (26) members of the ECWA Church
were kidnapped while worshiping during the Sunday Worship Service. (Please refer
to the attached list of kidnapped members). This tragic event is a deeply painful
experience that grieves the hearts of worshippers, families, and the entire body of
Christ. It casts a shadow of sorrow, concern, and righteous indignation over our
Church worldwide.
Our Spiritual Father and Supreme Head (Olori), Cherubim & Seraphim Unification
Church Worldwide, His Most Eminence, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Adewale Abiodun
Alogbo JP, FNACM, D.D.M, COMS, strongly condemns this act of violence and
lawlessness. It is utterly reprehensible, heinous, inhumane, and ungodly for anyone
to perpetrate such an act in Nigeria. Our members are peace-loving citizens whose
sole desire is to worship God and live godly lives. Subjecting them to fear, trauma,
and captivity is unacceptable and deeply troubling.
At this critical juncture, we call upon the Lord God Almighty, the God of divine
intervention, and the God of our father Saint Moses Orimolade Tunolase, who
delivered His servants from bo***ge, affliction, and oppression, to arise and secure
the release of our a b d u c t e d m e m b e r s from their captors. May t h e power of God
thwart every evil plan, soften hardened hearts, and bring about their safe and swift
return without harm, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Furthermore, we utilize this platform to urge the Federal Government and the
Kaduna State Governments to awaken to their primary constitutional responsibility,
which is the protection of the lives and property of citizens. The increasing incidents
*of insecurity, kidnapping, and violence across the nation demand urgent, decisive,
and sincere action. The safety of Nigerians must not be treated lightly, and the
perpetrators of these heinous acts must be brought to justice.
We also call upon Christians across Nigeria and around t h e globe to join us in
fervent prayers, faith, and unity. Let altars of prayer be established in homes,
churches, and fellowships, beseeching God for mercy upon our land, divine
intervention for the captives, and enduring peace for our nation. This is a time for
the body of Christ to stand united, trusting in God who answers prayers and
delivers His people.
Members of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O shall
remain hopeful, prayerful, and steadfast in the faith that God, who never fails, will
transform this sorrow into testimony. Until our abducted members are safely
reunited with their families and the Church, we shall persist in prayer and advocacy
for justice, peace, and security.
May the Lord comfort the affected families, strengthen their faith, and grant Nigeria
healing and restoration.
God bless the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni O, the
Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, and God bless Nigeria.
Prophet (Dr.) Amb. Anthony Olusesan Samaye, JP, FCIHRM, MNIM, DIIHP

Christmas Message of His Most Eminence Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, JP, FNACM, D.DM, The Spiritual Father and Chairman, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide Ayo Ni o/Supreme Head, Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church.

JESUS CHRIST – THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD AND OUR ETERNAL HOPE AND JOY

‘I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in

darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12 (KJV)

Esteemed Brethren, as we celebrate the joyous season of Christmas and approach the end of the year 2025, I extend my greetings to you in the holy and incomparable Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

This sacred season beckons us to rejoice, offer gratitude and contemplate the divine mercy of God, who bestowed upon the world His only begotten Son, the eternal Light that dispels all darkness. Christmas transcends a mere calendar date; it is a celestial proclamation of hope, redemption, restoration and divine illumination to a world once engulfed in sin, fear, confusion and estrangement from God.

We glorify our Eternal Father for sending Jesus Christ to rescue humanity from perpetual darkness and to lead us into the brightness of His Grace. As the Church, we are reminded of our sacred identity in the words of Matthew 5:14, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on the hill cannot be hid.” This season invites to rediscover our identity in Christ, as bearers of His light, ambassadors of His peace; custodian of holiness, and instruments of unity.

The genuine spirit of Christmas is not solely embodied in celebrations, attire or tangible presents, but rather in the love we share, the lives we enhance and the souls we guide towards a deeper connection with God.

At this critical moment in our national history, we must rise in fervent intercession for Nigeria. We must pray for our leaders, our institutions, our youth and our families. We must pray for peace in our communities, healing in our land, and righteousness in our governance. The scripture declares in 2 Chronicles 7:14, If God’s people will humble themselves, confess their sins and pray, He will hear from heaven, and heal their land. This promise remains sure and steadfast.

Let this season commemorating the birth of Christ inspire within us a revitalized dedication to love, forgiveness, service and unity. Let peace reign in our homes, revival break forth in our Churches, and divine light permeates our nation.

To our beloved nation, Nigeria, I speak peace as a spiritual father and as an oracle of the Most High God. Though we have faced seasons of hardship, economy pressures, insecurity, disunity and moral decline, we must not lose hope.

The birth of Christ affirms that darkness will never have the final word. Wherever the light of Christ shines, darkness must yield.

With prophetic authority, I declare a word of hope: A new dawn is rising for Nigeria. The divine plan for this nation is still unfolding and has not yet reached its conclusion. The Lord Almighty will raise helpers of destiny, restore lost glories, and establish peace within our borders in the name of Jesus Christ.

I proclaim that the divine light of God continues to shine over our land. Nigeria shall not be overtaken by darkness, for the Light of Christ is arising upon us.

As we commemorate the birth of the Saviour, may His radiant Light shine upon your lives, your families, your ministries, and your endeavours. May every darkness you face give way to supernatural illumination and victory in the name of Jesus Christ.

I wish you a Merry Christmas, a Glorious and Prosperous New Year in advance.

ALOGBO FROWNS AT THE ABDUCTION OF SERAPHS IN KOGI, TASKS GOV. ODODO ON THEIR RELEASE.

The Supreme Head of the Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria, His Most Eminence, Prophet (Dr.) Emmanuel Abiodun Alogbo, has condemned, in strong terms, the abduction and contuous detention of innocent members of the C&S Church while conducting service at Ejiba, in Yagba West Local Govt area of Kogi State, recently.
Prophet Alogbo, therefore, called on Governor Usman Ododo of the state to intensify efforts at freeing the kidnapped church members from the hands of their abductors.
In a statement issued by the Chief Public relations Officer of the Unification Church, Special Apostle Omololu Olubode, the Supreme Head of the Church, while acknowledging the improved efforts of the Federal Governmnt and security agencies at frontally addressing the menace of banditry and kidnapping in the country, he called on well-meaning Nigerians to join hands to nip the menace in the bud in that region.
Said he, "The unfortunate incident of November 30, 2025, where innocent members of Cherubim & Seraphim Church were attacked and abducted mid-way into their worship, is not only troubling, but portends negativity for free worship of Nigerians as enshrined in the nation's constitution.
"The gun-wielding, dare devil terrorists, who attacked and abducted unarmed members of the Cherubim & Seraphim Church, at Ejiba, in Kogi State is a further prove that there are plans to silence true worship in the country.
"The thought of our places of worship, being turned into hunting grounds by terrorists, is a negative reflection of the security situation in Kogi State and its environs."
Prophet Alogbo, therefore, called on Governor Ododo to do all in his powers, in collaboration with security agencies, to secure the release of the abducted church members.
He also called on the Federal Government to seek more global collaboration in fighting this menace.
