GOVERNOR UBA SANI FOSTERS HARMONY WITH THE LORD'S CHOSEN AT KADUNA CRUSADE, ADVOCATES LOCAL LANGUAGE EVANGELISM AND STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
The Senior Special Assistant on Christian Matters, Rev. Dr. Ishaya Adamu Jangado, officially represented Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, at The Lord’s Chosen Crusade held at Murtala Square, Kaduna.
Delivering the official address on behalf of the Governor, Rev. Jangado extended warm greetings to the General Overseer, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, and the massive crowd of worshippers. He explained that while pressing state matters kept the Governor from attending in person, His Excellency specifically ordered a full government delegation to attend in order to show strong solidarity with the ministry.
In the address, the Governor highlighted the positive changes happening across Kaduna under his leadership, pointing to his policy of all-inclusive governance. He emphasized that state appointments, infrastructure projects, and security initiatives are being shared with absolute fairness and justice, ensuring equal protection and development for every citizen regardless of whether they are Christian, Muslim, or otherwise.
Reflecting on the crusade's theme, "The Wonderful Move of God as of Old," the state delegation noted that while the government continues to do its part, a wonderful move of God is exactly what is needed for peace and progress, especially ahead of upcoming national elections.
The representative expressed profound appreciation to Pastor Lazarus Muoka for bringing the crusade to Kaduna. Addressing initial safety concerns that made some out-of-state delegates hesitate to travel, he commended Pastor Muoka's unshakable stance "Forward ever, backward never" and reassured all participants of maximum safety both inside and outside the venue.
Rev. Jangado shared his personal observations of the church, stating that what people see on television about the ministry is entirely real. He highlighted three distinct features he admires about the movement: their passion for evangelism, members who boldly wear the apron, and the miracles. He even shared a personal testimony about a Chosen sister in his own neighborhood whose early morning preaching outside his house consistently echoed the General Overseer's core message: "A sinner cannot be a Christian, and a Christian cannot be a sinner."
To further deepen gospel saturation in Northern Nigeria, he proposed a strategic outreach model. He urged the church to translate preaching and ministrations into local Northern dialects so indigenous populations can grasp the gospel message effectively. He also encouraged the church to extend its educational initiatives and school setups to local communities in the region, expressing the state’s desire to establish a continuous partnership with the church's pastors to foster sustainable spiritual and social impact across Northern Nigeria.
The official address wrapped up with a short prayer and a formal state salute honoring the Church, Kaduna State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Immediately following the speech, Pastor Lazarus Muoka mounted the podium and led the congregation in a powerful session of prayers for the state delegation and the leadership of Kaduna State.
