On Friday, 14 August 2026, the President of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Prince Mosediq Adeniji Kazeem SAN received the leadership of the Lagos State Council at the Society’s National Headquarters, Hassanat Abebi Okunnu House, Surulere, Lagos. The courtesy visit provided an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of unity, reconciliation and collective responsibility within the Ansar-Ud-Deen United Family. The President acknowledged the important role of the Lagos State Council in his journey and emphasized that leadership remains a trust and a responsibility to serve the Society.

The day also featured the inauguration of the Ad Hoc Committee on the Recovery, Protection and Redevelopment of the Ansar-Ud-Deen Teachers’ Training College, Ota, chaired by Alhaji K.A Salami. The Committee is charged with assessing the property, addressing occupation and encroachment issues, restoring the Society’s effective control, and developing a sustainable plan for its future use. The initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to protecting and enhancing assets inherited from previous generations.

Also inaugurated was the Ansar-Ud-Deen Faith & Knowledge Park Development Steering Committee, chaired by AVM Sikiru Smith (Rtd.). Building on the donation of approximately 5,000 square metres of land at Orange Island*, the Committee will develop a sustainable framework for a landmark institution combining religious purpose, education, social impact and financial sustainability. The project is envisioned not simply as a physical development, but as a lasting institution capable of creating value for Ansar-Ud-Deen, the Ummah and the wider society.

Reflecting on the three engagements, the National President reiterated that the present leadership remains custodian, rather than owner, of the Society’s legacy, with a responsibility to strengthen unity, protect its heritage and build enduring institutions for future generations. He thanked the Lagos State Council leadership, led by Alhaji Hassan Alao, members of both committees and all those contributing their expertise and resources to the Society’s advancement, while praying for Allah’s guidance and blessings upon the initiatives.
