The Christmas Carol Celebration 2025 was joyfully held in the church to commemorate the birth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The event, tagged “The Gift of Love, Hope and Joyful Birth,” was a spiritually uplifting and colourful celebration that brought together members of the congregation, children, families, and invited guests in an atmosphere filled with praise, gratitude, and fellowship.
The church auditorium was beautifully adorned with Christmas decorations, lights, and symbolic colours reflecting the joy and hope of the season. The programme commenced with an opening prayer, committing the service into the hands of God and expressing heartfelt thanksgiving for the gift of His Son to mankind.
Throughout the celebration, inspiring Christmas carols were rendered by the church choir, children’s choir, and other groups. These melodious renditions reminded the congregation of the true essence of Christmas . God’s unconditional love, the hope brought through Christ, and the joy that accompanied His miraculous birth. Bible readings and brief exhortations further reinforced the theme, emphasizing the significance of Christ’s birth as the ultimate gift of love and salvation.
A major highlight of the event was the joyful appearance of Father Christmas, which brought excitement and smiles, particularly among the children. Father Christmas shared messages centered on love, kindness, generosity, obedience, and sharing, in line with the celebration’s theme. Gift items were distributed to children and selected members of the congregation, creating moments of joy, laughter, and appreciation.
Drama ministrations and special musical presentations added colour and meaning to the service, creatively depicting the nativity story and the joy that filled the world at the birth of Jesus Christ. The congregation actively participated through responsive carols, clapping, and expressions of praise, making the celebration lively and memorable.
The Christmas Carol Celebration 2025 came to a close with prayers of thanksgiving and prophetic blessings for the coming year.
