🍒🍉🌽SEEDS OF DESTINY , A DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE.

DATE: THURSDAY 27TH AUGUST 2026

TOPIC: DIMENSIONS OF FAITH – INTIMACY WITH GOD

SCRIPTURE: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Hebrews 11:6.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The deeper your relationship with God, the stronger your confidence and faith in Him.

Yesterday, we looked at a critical dimension or department of faith, which is “The Right Utterance.” We established that the proof of conviction is declaration. That is, once conviction becomes strong enough in your heart, it will escape through your mouth even without your permission.

Today, we shall be looking at yet another dimension of faith, which is Intimacy with God. People of faith are people who know God. Faith is not for people who have no relationship with God. Genuine faith flows from intimacy with God.

Hebrews 11:6 says, Without faith it is impossible to please God. There are people whose lives truly please God because they diligently seek Him and maintain deep fellowship with Him.

When people walk closely with God, three things happen to them:

First, they get to know God. As they know Him, it becomes easier for them to trust Him because it is almost totally impossible to truly trust a stranger. Many times, our doubt in God is simply proof that we do not know Him enough. The stronger your relationship with God, the stronger your confidence or ability to trust Him.

Secondly, relationship is the basis for requests. The closer you are to someone, the more confident you are to ask them, and the more certain you are that your request will be granted. As believers interact with God continually, they grow in confidence concerning His faithfulness, ability and willingness to answer their prayers.

Thirdly, God imparts Himself on those who stay close to Him. 2 Corinthians 3:18 says that as we behold Him, we are changed into the same image. The more you look at God, the more you look like Him. And in God, there is no fear, no doubt, and no unbelief; only possibility.

Some time ago, we went to Pakistan for a crusade. On the second day, we were advised not to leave the hotel because security agencies could not guarantee our safety. We remained indoors and held a meeting in the hotel before flying out.

Within one year, there was a burden to return. As I considered it, fear was absent because once I know I am on God’s assignment, anxiety disappears. If it is my personal mission, fear may arise, but if God sends me, then He is responsible for the outcome. I don’t need to beg or pressure anyone because He who sends me also supplies all my needs.

Beloved, intimacy with God destroys fear and builds unshakable confidence in Him.

REMEMBER THIS: The deeper your intimacy with God, the stronger your faith and confidence in Him.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

1. Develop a deeper prayer and Word study life with God daily.
2. Refuse to allow fear and doubt dominate your heart.
3. Build your confidence in God by meditating on His faithfulness.

PRAYER: Father, draw me closer to Yourself and help me to know You more deeply. Deliver me from fear, doubt, and unbelief, and fill my heart with unshakable confidence in You, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

IMFFC2026 DAY 2 MORNING SESSION – 3RD MESSAGE - WEDNESDAY 26TH AUGUST 2026
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): LUKE 19:13
MESSAGE TOPIC: OCCUPY TILL I COME – THE MANDATE (2)
By: DR Paul Enenche

MESSAGE OBJECTIVE(S):
1. Understanding what it means to occupy
2. Understanding the diverse state of ministers of the Gospel regarding the mandate
3. Understanding the way to occupy

CATEGORIES OF MINISTERS REGARDING THE MANDATE:
1. There are ministers who have been subdued by the land (Zech. 1:20-21; Num. 13:32)
There are pastors that have been domesticated and emasculated by the limiting forces of the land – great callings without colour

2. There are ministers who have been threatened into caves (1 Sam. 13:5-6; 1 Kings 19:17; 2 Kings 9:30-33; Matt. 16:25)
You have been anointed to slay what you have been running from (1 Kings 19:17; 2 Kings 9:30-33)
What is the use of a prophetic mantle without prophesying or a worship mantle without worshipping?
You are doing business as usual inside the cave
Those who say ‘if I perish, I perish’ don’t usually perish

3. There are ministers who have abandoned their primary calling and got lost in the wilderness of life (Ex. 4:2)

4. There are ministers incarcerated into irrelevance by ungodliness and compromise (Judg. 16:21)

5. There are ministers who lost their voices of impact because of offence in God (Matt. 11:2-6)

6. There are ministers who lost their voices of impact through doubting their own call (John 1:29)

7. There are ministers who are unable to occupy because of their failure to fully deploy their giftings and mantles (Matt. 11:1-6; Luke 1:17; 2 Kings 1:10-13; 2:11; 2 Kings 2:9-14; Acts 12:23)
Many of us are underliving and under-deploying our life’s capabilities
It is not possible to occupy your territory until you fully deploy your giftings
You cannot neglect the gift and experience a shift
Use the other side of the anointing
The Word of God in certain nations and territories may not grow and multiply until certain ‘Herods’ are taken out of the way (Acts 12:23-24)

WHAT QUALIFIES YOU TO OCCUPY?
1. Bearing the burden of God for your generation (Num. 14:21; Neh. 1:2-3)

Until you carry His burden you cannot transmit His blessing to your generation
What moves you determines what you can move for God
The area of your compassion is the area of your unction

WHAT QUALIFIES YOU TO OCCUPY?
2. Be a person sent by God (John 1:6)
Be sure of your calling

3. Maintain a consistent stand before God (1 Kings 17:1)
Let God be your residential address
Carry out your assignment from before God (1 Kings 17:1)

4. Deploy all that God has put inside you (Acts 20:20)

PRAYERS
Father, thank You for Your Word and Your Voice to me today; I am available Lord, in Jesus' Name.

IMFFC2026 DAY 2 MORNING SESSION – 2ND MESSAGE - WEDNESDAY 26TH AUGUST 2026
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): LUKE 19:13; 21:33
MESSAGE TOPIC: OCCUPY TILL I COME BY THE POWER OF THE WORD
By: Pastor David Majiyebo

MESSAGE OBJECTIVE(S):
1. Understanding how the Word makes us to occupy till He comes
2. Understanding the way of the Word

Every dealing of God in the life of a person or a people begins with the Word, continues with the Word and ends with the Word
God gives people space and territories by the Word and keeps people in charge of territories by the Word
Until a person receives God’s Word he has no place in the world
Anything that must survive in the world, must survive by the Word
It is not possible for God to expire so it is not possible for His Word to expire

HOW THE WORD MAKES US TO OCCUPY TILL HE COMES – SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES:
1. John the Baptist (John 1:19, 21-23; Matt. 3:1, 5)
1a. The Word defined who he was and his class of ministry
1b. The Word gave him a voice and made him the voice (John 1:23)
If you have the Word, you will have a voice in your generation
1c. The Word made him a commander of territories (Matt. 3:1, 5)

2. Paul the apostle (Acts 9:3-5; John 1:14)
2a. To occupy till he comes, you must encounter the Person of Jesus (John 1:14)
Paul couldn’t have a ministry until he had a personal encounter with the Word
2b. He was a man of the word that was described as weak but his words were weighty (2 Cor. 10:10)
Your weight in the word determines your weight in the world
2b. He was a man of the word that was described as weak but his words were weighty (2 Cor. 10:10)

3. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ (John 1:14)

4. Our father – Dr Pastor Paul Enenche (Acts 1:8)
Where we are today is a product of the Word of God that our father in the Lord received

WHAT IS THE WAY OF THE WORD?
1. The Word must be received (Acts 8:14)

2. The Word must be revealed (Deut. 29:29)

3. The Word must be believed (Rom. 10:17)

4. The Word must be declared (Isa. 43:26)

PRAYERS
Father, I ask that You send my Word today Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

ADDENDUM BY THE SENIOR PASTOR
Ministry is the product of a man’s encounters with God and with the Word
Nobody can see a ministry higher than their encounter with the Word
Anytime you shift in the Word, the ministry also shifts forward
Father, I ask for Word encounters that will help me to take charge of my territory, I receive them now Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

IMFFC2026 DAY 2 MORNING SESSION – 1ST MESSAGE - WEDNESDAY 26TH AUGUST 2026
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): MARK 3:27
MESSAGE TOPIC: OCCUPY BY THE FORCE OF PRAYER
By: Pastor Solomon Ipila

MESSAGE OBJECTIVE(S):
1. Understanding the impact of prayers in dominating territories
2. Understanding what it takes to occupy territories by the force of prayer

It is possible to dominate territories and prayer is one major way we can dominate our territories
In any realm you are involved, it takes prayer to dominate your realm or sphere
Those who dominate their territories are given to prayers
Access in life and destiny happens through the altar of prayer (Matt. 12:29)
The territory we find ourselves can be accessed through prayer

SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF THOSE WHO DOMINATED THEIR TERRITORIES BY PRAYER:
1. Jabez (1 Chron. 4:10; 2:55)

2. Elijah (1 Kings 17:1; Jam. 5:17-18)

3. Daniel (Dan. 6:10-11; 1:21)

4. Queen Esther (Esth. 4:16)

5. Our Master Jesus (Mark 1:35; Luke 6:12)

6. Dr Pastor Paul Enenche

INGREDIENTS NEEDED TO DOMINATE OUR TERRITORIES:
1. A stand with God and a buoyant relationship with God (1 Kings 17:1)
Our relationship with God is the basis for our request

2. The revelation of God’s Word (John 15:7; Hos. 14:2)

3. Faith in God (Heb. 11:6; Mark 11:23-24)
Prayer becomes more potent when there is faith
The length of prayer is important but the faith in the
prayer is more important because God is moved by faith

4. Prayer with fasting (Mark 9:28-29)

5. Passion and fervency of heart (Jam. 5:16-17)

PRAYERS
Father, I receive the grace for a buoyant prayer life Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

Father, the grace for Your Word, passion for the study of the Word, I receive it today. I receive faith for prayers, baptise me with the grace for fasting and prayers, baptise me with passion and fervency at the place of prayer, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

ADDENDUM BY THE SENIOR PASTOR
The length of prayer is good but the faith content of the prayer is the most important impact
Father, I ask today for the clothing/the mantle/the grace of prayer like never before Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

🍒🍉🌽 SEEDS OF DESTINY A DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE.

DATE: WEDNESDAY, 26TH. AUGUST, 2026.

TOPIC: DIMENSIONS OF FAITH – THE RIGHT UTTERANCE.

SCRIPTURE: We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak. 2 Corinthians 4:13.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: The proof of conviction is declaration.

It has been confirmed that if something is too big for you to speak, it means your conviction is too small to change your life. Faith that is alive is speaking faith. It is audacious and declarative faith. Faith is not mere bragging; it is declaration born out of deep conviction. Whatever fills your heart will naturally overflow through your mouth. If your heart is sufficiently filled with conviction, your mouth cannot remain silent.

When a person says, “I cannot be cut short before my time,” or “I cannot live as a beggar and a borrower,” that is not empty talk. It is a declaration from the abundance of conviction.

Some time ago, we were to hold a programme somewhere, and an officer responsible for approving the venue reportedly said, “Over my dead body before the venue would be released for their use.” When the report got to me, I replied, “He has not said anything bad. The venue is available; he just wants to die first.” Before the set time for the programme, the man died, and the same venue was used for the programme.

Beloved, if something is too big for you to speak, it means your conviction is too small to change your life. The proof of belief is declaration. Once conviction becomes strong enough in your heart, it will escape through your mouth even without your permission.

When my wife was pregnant with our first child, she began to bleed continuously for three days at some point. Both of us are medical doctors, so we understood the implications. She said to me, “It looks like I have miscarried.” I ignored it initially, but when I responded, I said, “Do you want me to tell you that the devil who can push that child out is not yet born?” That was the end of the discussion. The pregnancy continued, and the child was born safely.

There is a difference between confession and declaration. Confession says, “By His stripes I am healed.” Declaration says, “I cannot be sick.” Declaration is revelation turned into conviction and spoken from the position of faith.

Beloved, when your heart is filled with faith, your mouth will speak with boldness. Keep filling your spirit with God’s Word until your declarations become irresistible manifestations.

So, if you are afraid to speak, what you need is more stuffing of your spirit with God’s Word until your conviction becomes too strong to remain silent. When a sponge is soaked, little pressure releases water. When your spirit is full of faith, declaration becomes natural.

REMEMBER THIS: The proof of conviction is declaration.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Fill your heart continually with the Word of God until conviction rises within you.
2. Refuse negative and fearful speech.
3. Make bold declarations of faith daily concerning your life and destiny.

PRAYER: Father, fill my heart with Your Word and increase my faith until my mouth speaks only victory, possibility, and truth. Deliver me from fear and negative confession, and help me to stand boldly in faith, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

IMFFC2026 DAY 1 EVENING SESSION – OPENING RALLY – TUESDAY 25TH AUGUST 2026
ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S): LUKE 19:13
MESSAGE TOPIC: OCCUPY TILL I COME (1) – THE MANDATE
By: Dr Paul Enenche

MESSAGE OBJECTIVE(S):
1. Understanding what it means to occupy
2. Understanding the diverse state of ministers of the Gospel regarding the mandate
3. Understanding the way to occupy

THINGS TO NOTE:
1. God owns the earth (Ps. 24:1)

2. God has a vision of overrunning the earth with His Glory (Num. 14:21; Hab. 2:14)
God is saying that if He is the God that is alive, then no nation can be closed against Him

3. God raises men to occupy territories for Him (Luke 19:13; Dan. 6:26; Num. 27:4, 7; Acts 4:16; 1 Sam. 10:7; Matt. 3:3-5; Acts 13:44; Mark 3:10-11; Mark 1:22-26)
God is depending on you to take charge of where you are on His behalf
THE MEANING OF ‘OCCUPY TILL I COME’:
i. Take charge till I come (Luke 19:13)
When the commander is not in the field of battle, the next in command takes charge
If the Elijahs of God rise up and take charge, the God of the Elijahs will show up!

ii. Don’t leave where you are the same way till I come
Don’t leave that sphere of influence the same way till I come; don’t let it be business as usual until I come

iii. Decide the direction of things till I come (Dan. 6:26; Num. 27:4, 7)
Establish righteous legislation till I come

iv. Have it the way you want it till I come - proceed unstoppably and irresistibly; be unstoppable till I come (Acts 4:16; 1 Sam. 10:7)

v. Compel the submission of the territory until I come (Matt. 3:3-5; Acts 13:44; Matt. 5:14)
You cannot be in a land and the land is not aware

vi. Disciple territories, nations and cities till I come
It means mentor them, tutor them; show them the way until I come

vii. Dismantle opposing territorial powers until I come – break the rule and reign of every opposing power till I come (Mark 3:10-11; Mark 1:22-26)
It means mentor them, tutor them; show them the way until I come
We need to begin to behave like the Bible is true, because it is true!

PRAYERS
Father, thank You for Your Word to me tonight. I believe Your Word and I am proceeding from here to take charge until You come, Lord in Jesus' Name (Luke 19:13).

🍒🍉🌽*SEEDS OF DESTINY* A DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE

DATE: TUESDAY 25TH AUGUST 2026

TOPIC: THE DESTRUCTIVE POWER OF NEGATIVE CHARACTER

SCRIPTURE: The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. Proverbs 11:3

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Positive character preserves, but negative character destroys.

Character has both constructive and destructive power, depending on the type. Positive character preserves while negative character destroys.

Examples abound in Scriptures of people who were destroyed by their negative character and of others who were preserved by their positive character (Proverbs 11:3).

One negative example was Lot. He lost his life and destiny on the platform of the negative character of strife, greed, and lack of value for higher authority. God called Abraham, but he brought Lot along. As Abraham prospered, Lot also prospered because he was connected to Abraham. Thus, the blessing upon Abraham overflowed into the life of Lot (Gen 13:5).

However, when wealth increased, strife began between the herdsmen of Abraham and the herdsmen of Lot (Gen 13:7-8). Instead of recognising the authority and covering of Abraham, Lot entered competition and contention with Abraham. When Abraham offered him the opportunity to choose a portion of the land, Lot lifted his eyes and chose the well-watered plains of Jordan. Instead of Lot saying, “Excuse me, sir, you were the one who brought me out, tell me where to go. That is, if I must leave you.” But Lot lifted his eyes and saw the area that was well watered and chose it. In other words, “I choose the wet ground, uncle, you can die in the dry land,” not knowing that where he chose was already marked for demolition. S***m and Gomorrah were already under divine judgment (Gen 13:9-11).

What appeared attractive physically was dangerous spiritually. Greed blinded his perception and pride affected his judgment. Eventually, destruction came upon S***m and Gomorrah, and Lot lost everything he had laboured for.

This shows that when you leave your cover, your cover leaves you. All the investments, possessions, and achievements he had previously gathered in that city were consumed overnight. He escaped only with his life. The same greed that led him into S***m could not preserve what he acquired there.

There are lessons to learn from the life of Lot: avoid strife, contention, unhealthy competition, greed and disrespect for the authority that helped you. Do not bite the finger that fed you. Do not remove the ladder that helped you climb. Do not bang the door you once gently passed through.

Beloved, if you desire preservation in life and destiny, maintain positive character. Walk in humility, gratitude, loyalty, honour, and respect for authority.

REMEMBER THIS: Positive character preserves, but negative character destroys.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

1. Refuse strife, contention, and unhealthy competition.
2. Avoid greed and every form of selfish ambition.
3. Honour and respect the authorities and people God has used to help your life.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for the light of Your Word. Deliver me from every negative character trait and help me to walk in integrity, humility, and honour, so my life and destiny can be preserved, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

🍒🍉🌽 *SEEDS OF DESTINY* A DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE

DATE: SUNDAY 23RD AUGUST 2026

TOPIC: A LIVING WITNESS OF GOD’S GOODNESS

SCRIPTURE: And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed.

Isaiah 61:9

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Our success is more evangelistic than our failure.

God desires that His people become living testimonies of His goodness, blessing, and faithfulness. A life that reflects the goodness of God is a powerful witnessing tool to an unbelieving world. There is a way God can bless a person that people cannot deny that the Hand of God is upon such a person’s life.

Our success is more evangelistic than our failure. Failure has no evangelistic power. No one ever follows a broke person to church so they too can become broke. God wants His goodness to be reflected in the lives of His children so those who do not know Him can see the difference.

Your life can reflect such a dimension of God’s goodness that people will become attracted to serving God because they see you. You do not smoke, drink, womanise, or live an ungodly life, and your life exudes the blessing of God. Those around you who engage in all kinds of worldly and ungodly practices will begin to wonder. They will ask themselves, “Wait, this person who is serving God is bigger than me, heavier than me, and has more resources than me who is not serving God.” At that point, they will be compelled to consider serving your God.

When I rededicated my life to God, the Lord showed me a man who was clean, holy, godly, and blessed. He had resources and was enjoying his life despite his commitment to serving God. The Lord asked me, “Look at this man, what is he missing?” I could not find an answer because the man was missing nothing. That encounter helped me realise that there is no loss in serving God.

Zechariah 8:23 says, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you. There is something people will hear about you or see in you that will make them follow your God without your preaching. They will see your marital harmony, family stability, upright life, joy, and peace; they will see that you are not stranded, frustrated, or begging for survival, and this will make them desire to know and serve the God you serve.

God wants you to be a good advertiser of His Kingdom. Unfortunately, many Christians are bad advertisers of the Kingdom, not deliberately, but because their lives do not reflect the goodness of God as they should.

Psalm 34:8 says, O taste and see that the Lord is good. God is good, and He wants His goodness to be evident in your life.

Beloved, God wants people to follow you to know Him. He wants your community, family, and generation to know that your God is a God worth serving.

REMEMBER THIS: Our success is more evangelistic than our failure.

ASSIGNMENT(S):

1. Make up your mind to be a good representative and advertiser of God’s kingdom.
2. Maintain a life of uprightness, integrity, and devotion to God.
3. Trust God for the manifestation of His goodness in every area of your life.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness. Let my life reflect your goodness to my world, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

🍒🍉🌽 SEEDS OF DESTINY, A DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE
BY DR PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE

SATURDAY, 22ND. AUGUST, 2026.

TOPIC: FAITH FOR SPIRITUAL VITALITY.

SCRIPTURE: Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Hebrews 10:38

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Faith is central to spirituality; when faith is shaken, spirituality becomes unstable.

Christianity is a walk of faith. That is why it is called THE FAITH.

This reveals the central place of faith in the life of the believer. Faith is not merely a part of Christianity; it is the foundation upon which spiritual life is built. Spiritual strength, stability, consistency, and vitality all answer to faith.

One of the worst dangers to the life of a believer is an attack on his faith. When faith in the reality of God is shaken, spirituality becomes unstable: prayer life becomes weak, fasting becomes infrequent, study of the Word declines, and commitment to God begins to die.

Many people who once burned passionately for God became spiritually cold because disappointments, challenges, and negative experiences attacked their faith. When a person is no longer sure about the reality of God, their spiritual decline is inevitable.
In the same way, when faith in the goodness and faithfulness of God is shaken, spiritual passion begins to decline.

At that point, many begin to ask, “If God is good, why is this happening to me?” Others wonder, “If God loves me, why am I facing this situation?” Some people at this point will stop serving in church, progressively reduce their church attendance and eventually backslide completely.
These are signs and symptoms of declining spirituality.

Throughout Scripture, we see people whose faith preserved their spiritual stability. Job maintained his faith despite severe trials. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego demonstrated unshakable faith in the face of the fiery furnace. Daniel refused to compromise despite the threat of the lions’ den. These people’s faith was not based on circumstances but on the unchanging Nature of God.

The truth is, God is not God because of what He does; He is God because He is God. Whether prayers are answered immediately or not, whether circumstances are favourable or not, faith says, “God remains God.” Faith guarantees spiritual stability, audacity, consistency, health and vibrancy.

Beloved, investment in your faith is the greatest investment of your life. Many people spend time, energy, and resources on many things, but invest very little in their spiritual lives. That is not the right thing to do. Your investment in your faith and spirituality should take priority over other investments.

Never allow what is happening around you to become more important than what is written about you. Though the world is full of the noise of fear, negativity, confusion, and unbelief, let the Voice of God's Word drown the noise of the world. Situations may change, but the Word of God stands forever.

REMEMBER THIS: Faith is central to spirituality; when faith is shaken, spirituality becomes unstable.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Make deliberate investment into building your faith.
2. Refuse to allow circumstances to dictate your perceptions about God.
3. Stand firmly on the Word of God regardless of the situations of life.

PRAYER: Father, thank You for Your Word to me today. I receive the grace to remain steadfast, spiritually vibrant, and unshakable in faith. Let my confidence in You never fail, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

🍒🍉🌽 SEEDS OF DESTINY A DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY DR. PASTOR PAUL ENENCHE.

DATE: FRIDAY, 21ST. AUGUST, 2026.

TOPIC: LOVE REQUIRES CAPACITY.

SCRIPTURE: But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him. And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
Luke 10:33-34

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Compassion becomes more effective when it is accompanied by the capacity to meet needs.

One of the greatest proofs of love is the willingness to meet the needs of others. While love begins in the heart, it is often expressed through actions. This is why God desires His children to possess both compassion and capacity.

The story of the Good Samaritan clearly reveals this truth. When he saw the wounded man by the roadside, he did not merely feel compassion for him and continue his journey. He stopped, treated his wounds, placed him on his own beast, took him to an inn, and paid for his care. He even made provision for any additional expenses that might arise.

His compassion was not only expressed as a feeling; it was also supported by the capacity to meet immediate and subsequent needs. Compassion without the capacity to meet urgent needs wouldn’t have helped the situation of the wounded man.

The priest and the Levite who passed by may not lack compassion; they may have had many reasons for not helping. But the Samaritan had both the heart and the means to help. He transformed sympathy into practical assistance.

God desires His children to be positioned as instruments of blessing in their generation. There are widows to support, children to educate, missionaries to assist, churches to build, and lives to impact. Many burdens will be lifted when God's people have both the willingness and the resources to help.

Many believers pray for prosperity without understanding its kingdom purpose.
Financial increase is not merely for personal enjoyment; it is also for kingdom advancement and impact. God blesses people so they can become channels through which His goodness reaches others.

When God entrusts resources to a compassionate person, many lives can be transformed. Opportunities are created, needs are met, and God's love is demonstrated in practical ways.

Beloved, never separate prosperity from purpose. Ask God to give you a heart of compassion and the capacity to express that compassion effectively. Let your desire for increase be connected to a desire to be of greater blessing to your generation. Your Christianity becomes more practical when you have the resources to express the love of God in tangible ways.

REMEMBER THIS: Compassion becomes more effective when it is accompanied by the capacity to meet needs.

ASSIGNMENT(S):
1. Ask God to enlarge your capacity so that you can be a greater blessing to others.
2. Look for someone whose needs you can meet today, either materially, financially, or physically.

PRAYER: Father, give me a compassionate heart and the capacity to be a blessing to those around me. Make me a channel of Your love and goodness to my generation, Lord, in Jesus' Name.
