I left Nigeria before it became detty šš³š¬āØ
But before I left⦠the Holy Spirit dealt with me in ways Iāll never forget. Welcome to my mini blog.
1. The world doesnāt need another church event, it needs people who look like Jesus. Everywhere I turned there was a flyer: Worship Night. Deliverance Night. āDance on the head of your enemyā Night š And while I honor gatherings, I couldnāt shake this truth: we have plenty of church services, but not nearly enough visible Gospel in the streets.
Jesus said āGo into the worldā not just the sanctuary. The Gospel was never meant to stay on a stage. It was always meant to be lived in love, action, humility, and service.
2. Fear exists to stop Godās promises from manifesting.
Nigeria had plenty of things to be afraid of wild traffic, 419 scams, warnings about witches, you name it š But if I had let fear lead me, I wouldāve missed everything God had waiting for me there. Fear is loud, but itās a liar. Its only assignment is to keep you from the future God already promised.
3. Complaining is a deed of the flesh. Speak life, even when itās hard. There were moments when discomfort tried to pull complaints out of me. But the Spirit checked me: faith releases power, not frustration. I learned to let my words agree with Heaven, even when conditions didnāt.
4. Standing is not enough, it must lead to walking.
Yāall⦠I watched a chicken die. The whole process. At one point it was still alive, but completely immobile. Its legs were tied, so all it could do was stand. The revelation dropped in my spirit: āStanding is good⦠but standing alone wonāt sustain life. It has to lead to walking.ā
Standing firm in Christ is powerfulābut we are also called to walk in Him. Obedience. Movement. Discipline. Growth. Thatās where real life shows up.
