Romans 12:15 (KJV) Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

We might have been taught to rejoice with those who rejoice but many times not how to grieve, mourn or weep with those who do.

Faith many times looks like an impregnable shield that keeps the believer free from all ills when there now seems to be a pe*******on, recovery becomes so difficult.

How do we console those who lost their loved ones?

What do we say? Many times we look to defend God or blame man for the grief...

I say it that in many christian circles we have not been taught to help those who mourn or identify with them.

The loss of loved ones cuts so deep and as one who has had a share of such sadness, I tell you that many never truly recover...

Lots of questions are unanswered. Lots of reasons to doubt all you have believed and even blame yourself.

And sadly, sometimes people who would have done more good by shutting up and sitting with the grieving gives "shallow" and unsolicited words of comfort that could end up deepening grief.

Your duty isn't trying to defend God by blaming man.
Your duty is to help a person get better.

Job's friends sat with him for seven days and said nothing. If that was all they did, they would have been blessed but when they opened their mouths they did the opposite of what their original mission was...

Shut up and try to empathise. That's the best way to start and please if you sincerely have nothing to say, don't be forced to. You mustn't talk.

Jesus wept with Mary and Martha. It isn't wrong to sit and weep with them.

And lastly, trust God for words to bring comfort. Do this with utmost care knowing that words if used wrongly at such sensitive moments can destroy when you intended they heal.

Empathise, pray for those weeping and if need be speak to them.

For everyone who has been grieving, those who haven't really healed from losses even if it has been a long time.

I pray you enjoy the comfort of the Lord.

Truly, there are many variables, things we may never get closure on as long as we live but you can know these constants...

GOD IS GOOD.

River, a public property that people draw from.

Ezekiel 47:7-8 EASY
[7] When I got there, I saw very many trees. They were on each side of the river.
[8] He said to me, ‘This river of water goes towards the land in the east. It goes into the valley of the Jordan River. Then the water goes into the Salt Sea. When it goes into the sea there, the water becomes pure instead of salty.

The river's first duty is supply life to the deserts. It came from the temple and went forth into the deserts down to the dead sea, When it goes into the sea there, the water becomes pure instead of salty.

Where the river flows, everything will live.

The essence of the river is to supply life, bring healing to the salty water and gives life to the dead sea.

The more you submit to the flow of the river I you, the more you will submerge.

Oh, we are rivers, we give/supply life and bring healing.

We are rivers of joy, through our rivers, joy is expressed and recieved.

Oh, yes, the hand of the Lord was indeed with us and our heart is merry.

This camp is overwhelming. The power of the GOSPEL is made eminent.The way by which God saves men is through the gospel of Christ. Therefore, I cannot be ashamed of it. One reason people are tempted to be ashamed of the gospel is that it does not always sound impressive or intelligent to the natural mind. People mock it. They talk against it. You have seen it yourself—how men ridicule the gospel.

Yet this very gospel is the visible expression of the power of God..
