October: Promotion by the Hand of the Lord

Having overcome the machinations of hell, the Lord has brought us into October and has promised to promote us by His mighty hand.
This is not the kind of promotion gotten by connection, politics, or striving, but the kind that carries God’s fingerprint, so unmistakable that no one can dispute it.

“For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another” - Psalm 75:6-7, KJV. This season, we shall experience this scripture as our practical reality.

Brace up for unusual liftings and favourable placements that are only explainable in the context of the superimposition of God’s sovereign will in human affairs.

For it has also pleased the Lord to move and ensure that all the horns of the wicked are cut off, but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted. Every illegitimate horn, built with dishonesty and rooted in compromise, will not stand in this season. But the horn God lifts shall be established, secured, and untouchable.

Scripture is replete with stories of promotion that were divinely orchestrated.

Hannah prophesied that God raises the poor from the dust and lifts the beggar from the ash heap, to set them among princes and make them inherit the throne of glory (1 Samuel 2:8).

Mary declared that God brings down the mighty from their thrones and exalts those of humble estate (Luke 1:52).

This has been God’s doing from generation to generation. It is our turn this month.

Be ready for a breakthrough and a change of story. Stay humble; stay in prayer and thanksgiving; and stay faithful in service.

The Lord shall exalt your horn like that of the unicorn, and you shall be anointed with fresh oil.

WHEN MAMMON TAKES OVER A NATION, EVEN THE RIGHTEOUS CAN LOSE THEIR WAY.

Mammon doesn’t just corrupt individuals. It can corrupt systems, institutions and eventually the soul of a nation, until the place meant for justice becomes a den of thieves.

Nigeria doesn’t only need new policies.
Nigeria needs righteous men with unbought convictions.

Men who cannot be bought.
Men who cannot be bribed.
Men who will choose truth over gain.
Men who will serve God even when compromise is profitable.

If Nigeria will be great again, righteous men must arise.

The question is not only, “What is wrong with Nigeria?”

The question is: “Who will arise?”

May you come into the outpouring of the former rain and the later rain. May the sower begin to overtake the reaper on your field. May you witness an unprecedented of the Blessings of a Thousand Times more, in the Name of Jesus.

God will not force Himself on a man. After hearing the truth, the choice to receive or reject Christ remains yours.

But here is the sobering part:

You cannot hear the Gospel and remain indifferent.

Your response matters.
Your choice matters.
And ultimately, you are accountable for what you do with what you have heard.
