JUMU'AH KHUTBAH HIGHLIGHTS πβ¨
As we approach the blessed days of Dhul Hijjah, Grand Chief Imam Boonyamin Dabiri delivered a powerful and enlightening Jumu'ah sermon on the significance of Eid-ul-Adha, the Day of Arafah, and the importance of Qurbani (animal sacrifice) in Islam.
The Imam emphasized that the sacrifice of a ram, cow, or camel during Eid-ul-Adha is a noble act of worship that commemorates the obedience and submission of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to Allah's command. He also educated the congregation on the qualities of animals suitable for sacrifice and highlighted animals that are prohibited, including those that are sick, blind, severely injured, weak, or defective.
He further encouraged Muslims to maximize the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah through prayer, fasting, charity, remembrance of Allah, and sincere repentance. The virtues of the Day of Arafah were also discussed, reminding believers of its immense blessings and the opportunity for forgiveness.
May Allah accept our worship, sacrifices, and good deeds in these blessed days, and grant us the opportunity to witness and celebrate Eid-ul-Adha in peace, faith, and gratitude.
