THEME: LOOK INWARD BEFORE YOU JUDGE

TEXT: Matthew 7:1-2 (NKJV)

“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

The world today is quick to point fingers. It is easy to see the faults of others while hiding our own weaknesses. The message in this flyer reminds us of a powerful truth:

“Easy is to judge the mistakes of others. Hard is to accept your own mistakes.”

Jesus warned us against living a life of criticism and condemnation. Many people are experts at exposing another person’s failure, yet they struggle to admit their own errors before God. The same mouth that condemns others often refuses correction.

Before you judge someone who fell into sin, remember there are battles you have survived only because of God’s mercy. Before you criticize someone’s weakness, remember that no man is perfect except Christ.

1. JUDGMENT WITHOUT MERCY BRINGS CONDEMNATION

When we constantly judge others harshly, we position ourselves for the same measure of judgment. The Bible says the measure you use on others will be used on you. If you sow criticism, you may reap criticism. If you sow mercy, you will receive mercy.

Many people have damaged relationships, homes, friendships, and ministries because of a judgmental spirit. God does not want us to become accusers; He wants us to become restorers.

2. SELF-EXAMINATION IS BETTER THAN FINGER-POINTING

A mature believer first checks his own heart before correcting another person. It is easy to expose another person’s mistakes publicly, but true spirituality begins with personal repentance.

Ask yourself:

Am I walking in love?
Am I showing mercy?
Am I also in need of God’s forgiveness?

Am I correcting people to restore them or to condemn them?

God wants us to spend more time improving ourselves than criticizing others.

3. ONLY GOD KNOWS THE FULL STORY

Sometimes we judge people without understanding their pain, struggles, or background. What you see externally may not reveal what they are fighting internally. That is why we must be careful with our words and attitudes.

The same Peter who denied Jesus later became a great apostle. The same woman caught in adultery received mercy from Jesus. God specializes in restoring broken people.

4. MERCY IS THE MARK OF TRUE CHRISTIANITY

As believers, we are called to reflect Christ. Jesus corrected sinners with love, compassion, and grace. Instead of destroying people with harsh judgment, let us help lift them back up.

A judgmental heart pushes people away from God, but a loving heart draws them closer to Him.

CONCLUSION

Nobody is perfect. We all need God’s grace daily. Instead of being quick to condemn others, let us be quick to pray, forgive, and encourage.

Remember:

The faults you see in others should remind you to stay humble.

The mercy you give today may be the mercy you need tomorrow.

God did not call us to destroy one another, but to build one another up in love.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, remove every judgmental spirit from my heart in Jesus’ name.

2. Lord, teach me to walk in love, mercy, and humility.

3. Father, help me to examine myself before criticizing others.

4. Lord, let my words bring healing and restoration, not condemnation.

5. Father, may I always remember the mercy You have shown me.

A Reflection on Faith, Thanksgiving, and Transformation

This discourse highlights themes of gratitude, redemption, prayer, and the transformative power of faith. It emphasizes the importance of trusting in God, surrendering one’s challenges, and celebrating His grace, even in the midst of adversity.

- Celebrate the accomplishments of elders and the youth.
- Appreciate God’s protection, guidance, and mercy in personal and communal lives.

- Importance of thanksgiving:
- Giving thanks is not merely a personal act; it transforms one's perspective and aligns individuals with divine blessings.
- "Throw away your troubles" before God; His answers will manifest.

The Power of Prayer and Divine Mercy

1. Petition for Mercy:
- Acknowledge that life’s transformations and victories rely on God’s mercy and grace.
- “Where all else has failed, let Your mercy, oh Lord, walk in my favor.”
2. Addressing Discomfort:
- Pray against sources of pain, stress, lack, sickness, and retrogression.
- Seek God's rain to cool all sources of discomfort and provide divine peace.
3. Individual Declarations:
- Declare divine thriving: “I will not lose my relevance, color, flavor, or sweetness in the land of the living.”
- “My church will progress and increase.”
4. Faith and Patience:
- Trust God's timing and refrain from sharing overly personal details, which could lead to undue judgment or misuse.

Life’s Challenges as Opportunities
- Stories of Challenges:
- Life stories often reflect struggles, yet they hold the promise of eventual glory through divine intervention.
- Jabez’s story (1 Chronicles 4:9-10) symbolizes transformation from sorrow to honor through prayer and reliance on God.
- The account underscores the need to act and pray for change rather than seek sympathy.
- Perspective on Hardships:
- Challenges are likened to speed bumps: they slow progress momentarily but teach endurance and cautious navigation through life's journey.
- "Don’t sit in pity; rise and become a voice."

Faith-Driven Transformation

- Constantly affirm: “God is not done with my story.”
3. Encourage Mutual Blessings:
- Pray for others—leaders, communities, nations, and families.
4. Boldness in Uncertainty:
- Approach life's uncertainties with declarations like Esther: “If I perish, I perish.”

Final Reflections on Worship and Thanksgiving

- God is pleased by heartfelt offerings, both financial and spiritual. Giving to God must inspire generosity and faith. "Dip your hands into your wallet and give generously to provoke divine abundance.”
- Shout for joy and dance—even in thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is an act of abundant faith that declares trust in upcoming breakthroughs.

Closing Prayer
- Ask for divine mercy to rewrite every story, leaving behind the pains of the past and ushering undeniable testimonies.
- Declare victory over delays, restrictions, and challenges, affirming: “This month will favor me. I will not journey alone.”

Conclusion
The overarching message encourages believers to trust in God’s ability to transform unfavorable situations, to live in gratitude, and to persevere with prayer and faith. A life filled with God’s grace becomes an undeniable testimony of His transformative power.

THEME: FROM THE DUST TO THE THRONE

TEXT: 1 Samuel 2:8

“He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD'S, and he hath set the world upon them.”

There are moments in life when people feel forgotten, rejected, abandoned, and buried in shame. Some are struggling financially, emotionally, spiritually, or physically. But this scripture gives us a powerful assurance: God specializes in changing impossible situations.

Man may write you off, but heaven has not forgotten you.

The Bible says God raises the poor out of the dust. Dust represents lowliness, limitation, pain, and hopelessness. It is a place where dreams seem buried. But our God is a lifter. He can pick a man from obscurity and place him before kings.

Joseph moved from prison to the palace.
David moved from the backside of the wilderness to the throne.
Blind Bartimaeus moved from begging by the roadside to becoming a testimony.

The same God is still working wonders today.

WHAT THIS VERSE TEACHES US

1. GOD CAN CHANGE ANY STORY

No condition is permanent when God steps in. It does not matter how long the struggle has lasted. One encounter with God can rewrite your destiny.

2. YOUR PRESENT POSITION IS NOT YOUR FINAL DESTINATION

The dust is not your end. The dunghill is not your future. God is able to take you from rejection to celebration.

3. GOD SPECIALIZES IN LIFTING PEOPLE

When men push you down, God can lift you up. Divine lifting does not depend on human connection alone; it depends on God’s mercy and favor.

4. GOD GIVES GLORY IN PLACE OF SHAME

The scripture says He sets them among princes and gives them a throne of glory. God does not only bless people quietly; He makes their testimonies visible.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

Every power keeping you in the dust, be broken in the name of Jesus!

May God lift you from struggle into abundance.
May He move you from rejection into acceptance.
May He announce your glory before men.
May your season of rising begin today in Jesus’ name.

CONCLUSION

The God we serve is still in the business of lifting people. No matter where you are today, God can reposition your life. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting Him. The same hand that lifted others will lift you also.

Your story is changing.
Your season is changing.
Your level is changing.

In Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
