One of the subtle deceptions of life is the belief that strength means needing no one. It sounds admirable, but it is often pride disguised as independence. David was a warrior, a king, a leader of men, and a man after God's own heart. Yet when Ziklag was burned, his family taken captive, and even his loyal men spoke of stoning him, he did not isolate himself. He called for Abiathar the priest and requested the ephod. David sought God, but he did not do so in isolation. God could have spoken directly without Abiathar's involvement, yet David recognized the value of Godly companionship, counsel, and spiritual support. Strength is not found in standing alone; it is found in knowing who should stand with you.
You may not need everyone, and you certainly do not need every voice, but you need someone. Someone who can hold your hand when your strength is failing. Someone who can look you in the eye and genuinely care. Someone who loves you enough to challenge your excuses, confront your blind spots, and demand accountability. Someone who points you back to God when pain, success, disappointment, or pride threaten to pull you away. The enemy often isolates before he attacks, but God frequently sends people before He delivers. Refuse the lie that says, "I can do this alone." The journey of destiny is personal, but it was never designed to be lonely.

I decree that God is connecting me with the right people for my season and destiny. I reject every form of destructive isolation and receive wisdom, accountability, and godly counsel. I shall not walk alone; the Lord surrounds me with those who strengthen, sharpen, and advance His purpose in my life in Jesus' Name, Amen!
