Looking at the three levels, sincerely speaking between you and your God, which level are you?
Remember that you can always upgrade yourself because, it is in your hand.

DELAY AND ITS CONSEQUENCES
John 11: 21 – 23, 38 - 45
Delays come through different ways. It is true that God can use everything to His glory but it is not all delays that come from God.
If you say your own case is too late, then I agree with you. But if you say that your time has come then you will see the glory of the Lord.
CAUSES OF DELAY
1. God can delay to be able to give you a better thing
2. You, yourself can be the architect of delay in some ways as –
i. Allowing sin in your life
ii. Disobedience - Israel in the wilderness were examples
iii. Not rising up to the challenge
iv. Not giving the sacrifices needed
v. God may be waiting for your praise- like Jehoshaphat 2Chro 20: 22
3. Satan and his agents are the main agents of delay and can even cancel the blessings through his – Embargoes, barriers, limitation, exchange programme, evil pronouncements, hijacking your destiny or destiny exchange, etc

GREAT FAITH
Mat 8:6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented. 7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him. 8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. 9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it. 10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
Jesus was surprised to see practical faith in demonstration by somebody outside the church.
GREAT FAITH is when you can believe just the SPOKEN WORD of God.
GREAT FAITH is when you can open your mouth and SPEAK FAITH INTO ACTION.

Who can demonstrate this kind of faith? Somebody under AUTHORITY.
Mat 8:9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
How Can One Be Under Authority?
Be a member of the kingdom of God.
John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
When we out of sins by confessing our sins to God and ask him to forgive us in the name of Jesus and invite Him into our heart to come into our life and take absolute control, then you are under authority of Jesus.
Remember that this verse we just read said “to them gave HE POWER to become the sons of God”. Authority is delegated power.
When you receive Christ, He gives you power – authority to act as the child of the Great King.
WHO IS A CHILD OF GOD?
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Job 22:28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

AUTHORITY IS RELEASED
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Mar 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
The authority had been released. Will you make use of it?

JOSHUA

Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

DAVID

ELIJAH

BEFORE A PROBLEM COMES, SOLUTION IS ALREADY WAITING.
Isaiah 65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Many of the problem we have is because we do not actually know the God we are serving.
Daniel 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
Do you know God?
 Are you born again?
 Do you know the ability and the capacity of God?
 Do you know the love behind the actions of God?
 How does God sees you – a slave, a servant, a child or a minister?
The answer to these questions will enable you to relate to God in the right way.
We shall see some cases in the Bible to learn how God always procide answers before we see problems.
1. At The Time Of Noah - Gen 6:13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. 14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
Before the destruction came, the ark was ready and those who could enter had entered.
2. The Sacrifice Of Isaac
Gen 22:10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. 11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. 12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
The ram was waiting but Abraham had not seen it. Immediately he was stopped from killing Isaac, he saw the ram.
3. Hagar
Gen 21:15 And the water was spent in the bottle, and she cast the child under one of the shrubs. 16 And she went, and sat her down over against him a good way off, as it were a bowshot: for she said, Let me not see the death of the child. And she sat over against him, and lift up her voice, and wept. 17 And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. 18 Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. 19 And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink.
She thought that her child would die of thirst. She did not know that God knew that she would come to that place and that she would need water, so it had been provided but she didn’t see and she sat down far away so that she would not witness the agony of the dying child.
Remember that God is ahead of you. Whenever you are traveling, God is with you and He had also gone ahead of you.
4. At S***m and Gomorrah
Before the destruction by fire, Abraham prayer for mercy and God allowed the angels to allow Lot to warn others. He, Lot was rushed out of the cities before the judgment came.
5. In Egypt
Before the seven years of scarcity came, there was seven years of plenty and message had come and a governor had been appointed to preserve food for the time of scarcity.
6. At The Time Of Moses
When Pharaoh was planning to eradicate the Israelites, God provided Moses to deliver them.
7. At The Red Sea
Before pharaoh could reach them, God had opened the sea for them to pass and He used the sea to sink their enemies.
8. Death Of Moses
Before Moses died, God provided Joshua who had been well trained to take over.
9. At The Time Of Samuel
As Samuel was crying for the disappointment of Saul, God told him He had provided another king already.
10. At Elijah’s Time
1Ki 17:1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word. 2 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, 3 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
Immediately Elijah finished declaring judgment on Ahab and Isreal, God had provided where Elijah would be fed.
11. When The Brook Was Drying
1Ki 17:7 And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land. 8 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, 9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.
Before the brook would dry, the widow women had been provided.
12. Elijah’s Taken Away
Before Elijah was taken away, God had provided Elisha for him to be trained so as to take over.
13. Haman’s Time
Before Haman became second in command to the king, Esther had been made queen in a dramatic way. Also, God had allowed Mordecai to do a great help to the king that was waiting to be rewarded.
14. Judgment of Haman
The very day Haman planned to kill Mordecai, God made the king to be looking for what to do for Mordecai. So, the gallows that was made for Mordecai was what they used to hand Haman.
15. The Birth Of Jesus
Before Herod could mobilize the army to go and killed baby Jesus, Jesus was already in Egypt.
16. Ethiopian Eu**ch
Before Eu**ch realized that he needed a helper, God had provided Philip.
17. Peter In Prison
Before Herod could order the death of Peter, an angel had released him and he had escaped.
18. Paul in Jerusalem
Before they could beat Paul to death, a captain had come to rescue him.
As we look at all these cases, God wants us to know that He is the All-wise, All-Knowing, All-Sufficient, and All-Powerful God.
Whatever problem you are having right now, God had provided the solution already. You may not see it but it is there waiting for you.
The eyes of Hagar had to be opened to be able to see the well that had been provided before she got there.
Remember
 God knows your tomorrow before today.
 He is carrying you somewhere Jer. 29: 11
 No demon or devil can snatched a child of God from God’s hand.
 God’s program for your life can never be aborted by any being.
Pray for God to open your eyes to see the solution instead of questioning or blaming God for the problem.

Always remember that before a problem comes, the solution had been provided by God.
GOD IS SOOOOOO GOOOOD!!!

SERVING IN VAIN OR FOR GAIN
Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
It is not common to hear that somebody has served the Lord IN VAIN. How? We shall have a lot of questions in our head. We have a lot of deception in Christianity. Everybody that is dead is gone to heaven by our pronouncement, even when we know that there are some question marks in their lives. God is the Author of orderliness. If you will not follow the right ways and steps, obviously, you cannot please God. We shall see what make people including some of us to serve IN VAIN.

3. THE GAIN IN SERVING THE LORD Genesis 24: 35
I. Exodus 23:25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and He shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
II. Matthew 10: 42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
III. John 12: 26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
IV. 1Corinthians 15: 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
The GAINS cover every area of life, ministry, defense, protection, finance, health, family, and so on. So then how can we serve and be sure we shall receive GAINS?

4. WAYS OF SERVING GOD WITH GAINS Matthew 7: 21 - 23
I. When we serve willingly Judges 5: 2; Nehemiah 11: 2; Isaiah 1: 19
II. When we serve according to our given ability, that is, do your best. Matthew 25: 15 – 17, 22, 23; Ecclesiastes 9: 10
III. Serve in cooperation with the Lord 1Corinthians 3: 9
IV. Finish whatever you started for the Lord John 4: 34; 17: 4; Acts 20: 24
V. Serve with the loving fear of the Lord within you Psalm 2:11
VI. Every service must be as if God is physically present there. Ephesians 6: 6, 7
VII. Every action must be done in acceptable manner. Hebrews 12: 28 the end does not justify the means
VIII. Serve heartily and whole heartedly Colossians 3: 23; 1Samuel 7: 3; 2Chronicles 15: 15
IX. Do God’s work promptly Mark 1: 17 – 18
X. Doing the will of God Matthew 7: 21

Sometimes there’s no logical solution to life’s challenges. Fear says your situation is permanent. Logic says it's impossible. Facts say it doesn't make sense. Science says follow logic and consider the facts. Math says it doesn’t add up. Time says it’s too late. Age says you’re too young or too old. Education says you’re not qualified. Experience says you’re a novice. People say it’s never been done before. The past says check your history. Scars say you’re about to get hurt again. Comfort says it is really not worth the trouble? The future says you don’t belong here. The pocket says I can’t afford it. But faith says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Don't seek logical solutions to every life’s challenges. Sometimes you just have to believe. "We walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7). Feed your faith and all the other negative voices will starve to death.

LORD CHANGE THE LANGUAGE OF MY ENEMIES
Every being has enemies, if you do not know that, you are defeated already. The goal of the enemy is - to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: John 10:10
Some enemies are very powerful that you may not be able to face them on your own. The type of enemies you have depends on your destiny.
Among the children of Jacob, Joseph had more problem than the rest of them. Among the children of Jesse, David had more problems than all of them. How your tomorrow will be will determine the problems and the type of enemies you will have.
If you can pray, ‘Lord, Change The Language Of My Enemies’, God will give you a new song.
We shall look at two cases in the bible and use them as stepping stones for prayer.
PHARAOH
Exo 2:23 And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bo***ge, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bo***ge. 24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
Exodus 5:2 And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.
Exo 12:30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead. 31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said. 32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also.
The children of Israel who are the children of covenant were suffering in Egypt and they cried unto the Lord and the Lord sent deliverance to them through Moses. Pharaoh resisted but when God handled him, he allowed them to go and requested for blessing.
Pharaoh had seen the children of Israel as slaves and therefore their God must be inferior to him. When God handled him in different ways, he bowed and requested for blessings. God change his language. Pharaoh changed his language when he discovered the greatness of the God he was dealing with.
NEBUCHADNEZZAR –
Daniel 3:15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
Dan 3:26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. 27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them. 28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God. 29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.
Nebuchadnezzar was ruling the land up to India at that time and all the countries he conquered, none of their gods meant anything to him, so, he disdained the Almighty. He saw himself greater than the Almighty and God showed him a little of His power. He was a great and powerful king but when he saw the greatness of God, he changed his language.
All the enemies that had been bragging over your life, ministry, family, finance and even your nation, pray and God will change their languages. They will start to praise and magnify the Almighty God and your victory will be the demonstration of His power.
Hindrances shall give way and victory shall be yours.

WHO ARE YOU?
God created man as a master piece and Satan came to destroy the man that is a super master of God’s
creation. Today, man has voluntarily become a slave of sin and he is at the mercies of Satan and the
demonic spirits for them to handle anyhow. If we can just know who we are and what we are capable of
doing, Satan will be put to shame in us and in our life forever.
1. REALIZE WHO YOU ARE
Self-recognizing is compulsory for any meaningful thing to be done in life. Failure, defeat and
disappointments are the result of not knowing who we are. You are not an accident in this world and
God has a program of success for your life - Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward
you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Let us examine some area that can define us on the physical rhyme.
1. Who are you?
2. Who is your father/mother?
3. What tribe or nation are you from?
4. What ability or gift do you have?
5. What knowledge do you have?
There are positions we have that are natural and the greatest position is the spiritual position. You must
realize who you are in Christ if you are born again.
John 1: 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even
to them that believe on his name:
John 8: 36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
Romans 8: 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15. For ye
have not received the spirit of bo***ge again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption,
whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the
children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be
that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
2. KNOW YOUR POSITION
Judges 6:11 And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah,
that pertained unto Joash the Abiezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to
hide it from the Midianites. 12. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him,
The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour. 13. And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord,
if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our
fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath
forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. 14. And the LORD looked upon
him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites:
have not I sent thee?
We need to define our positions
1. The FALSE (Deceived) Position
Jdg 16:20 And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and
said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was
departed from him. 21 But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to
Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.
2. The IGNORANT Position – Gideon did not know who he was until God revealed it to him
because he was ignorant of his position.
3. The REALIZED Position Luke 15: 17 – 20 – the prodigal son is a good is a good
example of somebody who suddenly realized his position of sonship.
4. The BLESSED Position – this is the position of the redeemed if only they will realize it and
enjoy it. Let us see some examples of those who knew their positions and used them
accordingly.

III. The three Hebrew children Daniel 3: 16 - 30 IV. Elisha 2Kings 2: 13 – 15
V. Daniel Dan 1: 8 – 16; 2: 14 – 23; 6: 10 - 24 VI. Paul Acts 13: 6 – 12
3. KNOW THE PROMISES THAT REVEAL YOU
For you to know and operate in your blessed position, you need to know the word of God and the
promises that stand for you, we shall take few promises. As you read through them, meditate seriously
on them and stand where God stands.
1. Psalms 92:12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in
Lebanon.
2. Psalms 2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost
parts of the earth for thy possession.
3. Isaiah 45:11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to
come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
4. Psalms 125:1 They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed,
but abideth for ever. 2. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about
his people from henceforth even for ever. 3. For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot
of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.
5. Psalms 138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth
for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.
6. Psalms 121:4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
7. Psalms 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit
in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
8. Psalms 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no
good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
9. Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall
rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
10. Zechariah 2:8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations
which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
11. Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things
as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
