TODAY'S TOPIC: THE REJECTION OF TRUTH IS THE EMBRACE OF LIES.

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
May 24th, 2026

“Save me, Lord, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues. What will he do to you, and what more besides, you deceitful tongue? He will punish you with a warrior’s sharp arrows, with burning coals of the broom bush.” (Psa.120:2-4 NIV)

“For these are rebellious people, deceitful children, children unwilling to listen to the Lord’s instruction. They say to the seers, “See no more visions! and to the prophets, “Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions.” (Isa. 30:9-10 NIV) This means that the people had the light, but they loved darkness. They know the truth but prefer deceit and in the process deceive others. They paraded lies as truth and even used the Holy name of God to embellish the lies. It means they have no fear of God and God gave them a reprobate heart. The end of such people is unfortunately gruesome.

There are prophets, men and women of God who are more than willing to tell the people what the people want to hear instead of the truth from God. “Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things.” (Phil. 3:19 NIV) Balaam is an example of prophets who heard the prophecy, the truth but decided to deceive the people and lead them astray. King Ahab loved lies and the lying prophets in spite of the fact that he knew the truth. It led to his death. (1 Kings 22)

"Let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins." (James 5:20) Our nation is in the season of campaigns which comes with a lot of tensions, deceits, distorted information, and sharing of blood money, hold on to your salvation with fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12) This means actively putting your faith into practice, continually maturing, and letting the reality of your salvation show in your choices and actions. Whichever your eyes or hands or legs will make you fall, it is better you cut them off (Mat. 5:29-30) This is spiritual pruning and dealing with toxic influences which could lead to spiritual separation.

Endure now and “only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked.” (Psa. 91:8 NKJV)

THE WORD: “Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!” (Mat. 18:7 NIV)

TODAY'S TOPIC: “FAITH: THE POWER OF TRANSFORMATION.”

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
May 23rd, 2026

Faith in God has different levels. It is not static, it grows until it has its root so deep in the word of God. It all starts by hearing the word of God. “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Rom. 10:17 NKJV) Faith is the bridge between us and God. For we do not walk by sight; we walk by faith.

• The first level is THE FAITH THAT ASKS. Faith that asks is how many of us came to Jesus Christ especially when we have run out of choices, we run to Jesus. Faith that asks is a childlike faith that runs to the father when he falls. When Bartimaeus the blind man, sitting by the roadside begging, heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” (Mark 10:46-47 NIV) The woman with the issue of blood told herself if I can just touch the hem of His garment. This simple faith plunged them in the healing cleansing word of God. You too probably came to Jesus shouting, crying, and asking for help. This faith is the doorway. God uses our needs to draw us closer to Him.

• The second level is THE FAITH THAT TRUSTS. What started as ‘help’ became the reason to know the Helper. God doesn’t immediately give us what we ask for because if He did, we will not have a relationship with Him. He will just become our ATM. In the faith that trusts, God does not answer our prayers immediately. There is a period of delay. A period of doubt, disappointment, frustration but for some reason, we stay because of past deeds and because of His word. Job showed this kind of faith when he said: "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him." (Job 13:15 KJV). Abraham showed this faith and likewise Joseph. They chose to keep trusting. Delay thought then dependence on God. It is the training ground for our transformation.

• The third level is THE FAITH THAT ABIDES. This is about John 15. “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” (John 15:4 NKJV) It is about living in Him. You reach the state of ‘Your will not my will’. This is when your will stop competing with His will. You grow quite confident even in the face of the storm. You are calm. You seem to sense God moment by moment. You feel His presence all day long. The fruit of the faith that abides is PEACE - unexplainable peace.

Which level are you in? Keep on trusting, reading, listening and obeying His word.

THE WORD: “ And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” (Rom. 12:2 NKJV)

TODAY'S TOPIC: “DO YOU LOVE ME MORE THAN THESE?”

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
May 22nd, 2026

“Do you love me more than these?” (John 21:15) is the question Jesus asked Peter after Peter’s denial of Him, after the resurrection of Jesus Christ and during the breakfast by the sea. This same question is no longer for Peter to answer but for you and I to ponder and answer. It requires a deep examination of our souls and everything within us to answer as correctly as possible. The bare truth will help us to face our reality.

Do you love Jesus Christ MORE THAN THESE? Do I love Jesus? Do I love Him more than these? What are the ‘THESE’ in your life? For Peter, the ‘these’ in his life could be his trade. He was a fisherman. He was on his business of fishing when Jesus called him (Mat. 4:18-22). After his betrayal and a feeling of helplessness slipped into him, he said to the others (about five disciples with him) “I am going fishing.” They said to him, “We are going with you also.” (John 21:2-3 NKJV) Or the ‘these’ could be his influence on the other disciples. Was Peter leading them away from the gospel?

There are times on this journey of faith that a deep sense of loneliness and probably emptiness fall over you. In that instance, what did you do? In Peter’s case, he returned to fishing, though he was called into full ministry. The irony was that he caught nothing (no fish) without the Master. The hymn “I gave My life for thee” asked the same question repeatedly - ‘What hast thou done for Me?’ My Father’s house of light, I left for earthly night, what hast thou left for Me? We love to take from God but are unwilling and or reluctant to give back to Him.

Which is more important than your calling? Your business, employment, wealth, family? Some of us may say - but I do not have a calling/ministry. The moment you answer the call to your salvation, you are called. You may not identify your ministry yet but you are an elect of God unto good works (Eph. 2:10). Do you love Jesus more than gold or silver? Are you putting Him first or somewhere in the middle?

Interestingly, Jesus was asking Peter for agape love - unconditional love. Peter was responding with the ‘phileo’ love - brotherly/friendship love. Jesus wants us to move from brotherly love for Him to unconditional love. How much do you love Jesus Christ?

THE WORD: “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.” (John 15:13-14 NKJV)

TODAY'S TOPIC: “A MAN GREATLY BELOVED.”

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
May 21st, 2026

Three times Daniel was told that he is a man greatly beloved not by mortal men but by an angel sent to him by God - angel Gabriel. The Good News Translation puts it like this: “Daniel, God loves you.” The New International Version wrote: "Daniel, you who are highly esteemed” (Dan. 9:23; 10:11; 10:19) Why was Daniel highly rated by God? This is close to perfection! Where are we on the scale?

• From his very youth Daniel feared God. He was carried away to Babylon, as captive at the same time that the holy vessels were taken from the temple of Jerusalem. He was himself one of the holy vessels. For he was indeed a vessel fit for the Master’s use.

• Daniel was determined in his early years to non-conformity to the world. He was placed in circumstances that removed him from every godly association. He was carried into an idolatrous country, and trained in an idolatrous court for a superstitious pursuit. Everything was done that could be done to make the young Hebrew forget the God of his fathers. His name was changed as well as those of the three right worthy companions of his captivity, to forget that they were Jews and forget the name of God himself! Everywhere around them they saw idolatry, lust, and crime. “Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.”

• Daniel was fearless when he interpreted the dream and told Nebuchadnezzar that he would be insane and that his hair would grow like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws, and that he would be driven from the abodes of men. He was courageous to interpret the hand writing on the wall in spite of the danger of telling Belshazzar, the king, that he would die that night. In both cases, he could have been executed.

• Addressing the King of Tyre, Ezekiel said, “Art thou wiser than Daniel?” Now, for a young man to be elevated to 3rd position in the Empire, we all know the dangers that come with wealth and at a young age. Yet, when the noble men plotted against him, they found him above board. There is more we can learn from Daniel. His prayer life. He stood firm in the face of danger - not choosing himself but faith in God.

THE WORD: “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.” (Rev. 12:11 NKJV)

TODAY'S TOPIC: “SALVATION BELONGS TO THE LORD.” (Psa.3:8)

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
May 20th 2026

Psalm 3 is a psalm of David when he fled from his son Absalom. It started as a prayer of someone in despair or deep anguish with little or no hope and the people around him were not helping. Many are saying of me, “God will not deliver him.” But in reality, this Psalm is about total surrender to God Almighty. “Salvation belongs to the Lord. Your blessing is upon Your people.” (Psa. 3:8 NKJV)

“No king is saved by the multitude of an army; A mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.” (Psa. 33:16-17 NKJV) David recognizes that he cannot save himself. Even though he is a seasoned warrior and king, his ultimate security does not come from his military might, political strategies, or human allies. By declaring that deliverance belongs to God, David strips his enemies of their power and places all of his trust in the Creator.

It is not of man, neither by man; "not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy." May we all learn this truth experimentally, for our proud flesh and blood will never permit us to learn it in any other way. In the last sentence the peculiarity and speciality of salvation are plainly stated: "Thy blessing is upon thy people." Neither upon Egypt, nor upon Tyre, nor upon Nineveh; His blessing is upon His chosen, His blood-bought, His everlastingly-beloved people.

How frequently we take our eyes off the Lord and focus on our own mounting problems and the multitude of enemies that seem to accumulate outside our door. How often our trust in the Lord falters and we allow our hearts to fail within us, for fear of what is happening in our lives and the lives of those we love. How important it is to look to the Lord for our strength and rely upon Him to provide all that we need according to His riches in glory: "For His blessing is upon His people for eternity."

David was in serious trouble. The betrayal of his son drove him out of his palace. He could call his army but wasn’t sure who to trust. He turned all his problems to God. Jesus encourages us to do the same Matthew 6:25; 11:28.

Can anyone be totally free from problems? No. But your problem can be less of a problem if you know how to give it to Jesus Christ who has given us victory. Your peace is not the absence of problems but it is in knowing that you can do nothing about it without Jesus Christ.

THE WORD: “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” (Eph. 2:8-9 NKJV)

TODAY'S TOPIC: TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES; PUT ON YOUR SHOES.

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
May 19th 2026

●To Moses: “Do not come any closer,” God said. “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.” (Exo. 3:5 NIV)
●To Joshua: The commander of the Lord’s army replied, “Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy.” And Joshua did so. (Josh. 5:15 NIV)
●At Passover: "And thus you shall eat it: with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. So, you shall eat it in haste. It is the LORD’s Passover." (Exodus 12:11, NKJV)
●In Ephesians: and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. (Eph. 6:15 NIV)

What is the significance of removing shoe and putting it on? Why is it important for us to understand these actions? In our world today, the act of removing shoes is both cultural and religious. And in a lot of cases, the act itself is neither cultural or religious but simply reverence not to leave dirt from one’s shoes on a clean floor. Shoes when put on means control. Imagine walking barefoot on hot sand or on muddy ground. It slows one down and there is a feeling of helplessness. David walked barefoot when he was running away from the betrayal of his son, Absalom. It showed him in total despair, a powerful symbol of profound mourning, deep humiliation, and spiritual submission. (2 Sam. 15:30)

So, when God told Moses to remove his shoes, it was for reverence, humility, submission, and surrendering control to God. It acknowledges unworthiness compared to God's holiness and his willingness to let Him lead. Shoes represent the dirt, dust, and distractions of the outside world. No wonder then why Jesus washed the feet of His disciples (John 13:1-17) And when Peter objected, Jesus told him if he refused to be washed, he will have no part in Him. Apart from the servanthood significance from Jesus, it signifies preparation for a holy course.

Taking off one’s shoe is an act of surrendering your authority as seen in the Book of Ruth 4:7-8. By handing over his shoe, the unnamed kinsman-redeemer legally yielded his right of redemption, allowing Boaz to step in and purchase the land. It is the seal of agreement witnessed by elders in the community. Just as we surrender all to Jesus Christ. In this circumstance, when we put on the shoes, we are ready to be led by God for the task ahead.

THE WORD: “Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.” (Eph. 6:14-15 NIV)

TODAY'S TOPIC: YOU ARE JUSTIFIED MADE WHOLE AGAIN.

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
May 18th, 2026.

One of the most difficult bridges to cross after we have surrendered our lives to Jesus Christ is the bridge from sin to acquaintance. This is because the sentencing carries no guilt and no punishment. There are no consequences to be faced, only ‘take your mat and walk’ (John 5:8). Or ‘go and sin no more’. You ask yourself, is that it! Can I truly walk free? Then your mind starts to catalog all the sins you have committed and the guilt of these sins weigh heavily on you and you don't feel the freedom. You do not feel whole, you do not feel free. If this is your current state of mind, then GRACE has found you.

“And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, Abram, saying, “This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir.” 5 Then He brought him outside and said, “Look now toward heaven, and count the stars if you are able to number them.” And He said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” And he believed in the Lord, and He accounted it to him for righteousness.” (Gen. 15:4-6 NKJV) In that instance, several things happened to Abram - faith replaced doubt and fear. Hope was born. Abram was transferred to a highly privileged position in God’s kingdom because he now wears God’s badge of righteousness and honour. He could move in the circle of the honourables. Here is what you may miss in this encounter. Abram was made whole again. He was healed of childlessness in that instance.

Did you accept your healing when you were justified? If you did not or you have not, then you still have some thrash you have not taken out. Justification is a full package of wholeness and wellness. ‘Take up your mat and walk.’ ‘Your faith has made you whole.’ These are not separate packages, they come in the same box of forgiveness. Are you a believer? Have you been justified? Then you have also received healing. Seek the help of the Holy Spirit on how to access your healing.

Why are you not facing the consequences of sin? Justification does not excuse our sin, ignore our sin, or endorse our sin. Rather, our sin is fully punished, Christ having taken our penalty for us. He was our substitute (1 Peter 3:18). Because the wrath of God is satisfied in Christ (Isaiah 53:4–6), we are free from condemnation (Romans 8:1), and God remains both “fair and just, and he makes sinners right in his sight when they believe in Jesus” (Romans 3:26, NLT). Your sin and my sin were punished but we walked free because Jesus paid the price.

THE WORD: “For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.” (Rom. 5:10-11 NIV)

TODAY'S TOPIC: NEHEMIAH AN EPITOME OF SERVICE WORTH EMULATING.

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
May 17th, 2026.

All who believe in Jesus Christ are called to serve "...even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many". (Mat 20:28)

From the beginning, God had made each of us responsible to one another. Hence, He asked Cain - where is thy brother? And to be able to serve effectively, there are some criteria we must meet.

What does it take to be a cupbearer? Who is a cupbearer? What are the responsibilities of a cupbearer? We know first hand that a cupbearer stands before kings. A cupbearer serves kings. Believers serve the King of kings. So, what endeared Nehemiah not only to the heart of the Persian King Artaxerxes but to God?

The role of the cupbearer in biblical times was a position of significant responsibility and trust, often held by a high-ranking official in the royal court. The cupbearer was tasked with serving wine to the king and ensuring that it was not poisoned, thus safeguarding the monarch's life. This position required not only vigilance and loyalty but also a close relationship with the king, as the cupbearer was often privy to confidential matters and discussions. The cupbearer's duties extended beyond merely serving drinks; they were also responsible for the quality and safety of the wine, often tasting it themselves before presenting it to the king. This act of tasting was a safeguard against assassination attempts, which were not uncommon in ancient royal courts. The cupbearer's proximity to the king often allowed them to become a confidant and advisor, as seen in Nehemiah's case. (Topical Encyclopedia)

Similarly, we are called to trust and be trusted. “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much (Luke 16:10) “Do you see a man who excels in his work?
He will stand before kings; He will not stand before ]unknown men.” (Prov. 22:29) The cupbearer’s position requires vigilance, loyalty, and a close relationship with the king just as the believers’ position. We are privy to confidential information too. God said; “should I hide from Abraham what Am about to do?” (Gen. 18:17) We taste God’s goodness and or otherwise and know exactly how it feels before sharing the experience.

Cupbearer is not a job to look down on but it is about the most important job in the palace and Nehemiah did it so well that it earned him the support needed to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. A pagan king supporting the people of God! How are you serving God in your duty post?

THE WORD: “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” (Col. 3:23-24 NIV)

TODAY'S TOPIC: “IT WAS BORROWED!” A TYPE OF OUR SALVATION.

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
May 16th, 2026.

“Look, the place where we meet with you is too small for us. Let us go to the Jordan, where each of us can get a pole; and let us build a place there for us to meet.” And he said, “Go.” Then one of them said, “Won’t you please come with your servants?” “I will,” Elisha replied. And he went with them. They went to the Jordan and began to cut down trees. As one of them was cutting down a tree, the iron axe head fell into the water. “Oh no, my lord!” he cried out. “It was borrowed!” (2 Kings 6:1-5 NIV) This was one of the miracles performed by Elisha.

The Law of Moses says: “If anyone borrows an animal from their neighbor and it is injured or dies while the owner is not present, they must make restitution.” (Exo. 22:14) And Psalm 37:21 says; "The wicked borrow and do not repay." This may have informed the prophet of how serious the situation was. The borrowed axe head was lost. The axe head is the power of the axe and it was the power that was lost and buried at the bottom of the river. And not any river but river Jordan - the river where Jesus was baptized. Water baptism signifies the "old you" dies to sin and is buried with Christ.

The prophets’ intention was to ‘build a place there for them to meet.’ Jesus said, “I go to prepare a place for you.” (John 14:2). The axe is a tool just like we are all tools in God’s hand. The axe head fell out of the handle into the river just as sin removed us from the presence of God. The axe head was lost just as we were lost too.

The prophet approached Elisha, a man of God, and reported the loss of the axe head with the emphasis that it was borrowed. Everything we are, everything we have is borrowed. And for our recovery, we have to come to Jesus. As Elisha cut a piece of wood and threw it into the river, a prophetic demonstration of Jesus’ sacrifice on the wood-cross for our redemption and restitution, so Jesus died on the cross and whoever believes, is dipped in the river and baptized unto His death. The weight of our sin like the iron pulled us under and only by His grace that we become light again to float on the river. The axe head was recovered and returned to its owner. The sinner returns to God.

The miracle of the axe head happened in the past, yet spoke of the future. A future that is now our reality. The word of God is indeed powerful and sharper than any two edged sword.

THE WORD: "Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." (Rom. 6:4 NKJV)

TODAY'S TOPIC: THE ENEMY PLANTED THE WEEDS - A LESSON ON ENDURANCE.

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
May 15th, 2026.

Good and evil co-exist like co-tenants or neighbours and sometimes like siamese twins almost inseparable. But the scriptures say; God’s plan for us is of good and not of evil (Jer. 29:11). So why does evil take up so much space? You are not the only one asking this question.

• Jeremiah 12:1 — "Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease?"
• Job 21:7 — "Why do the wicked live on, growing old and increasing in power?"
• Habakkuk 1:13 — "Why do you tolerate the treacherous? Why are you silent while the wicked swallow up those more righteous than they?"
• Jesus told them another parable (Mat. 13:24-43). In that parable, the servants asked the owner, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ The owner replied; “An enemy did this.” “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?” “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.”

“Let both grow together until harvest.” This is the most difficult load to bear. The temptation to uproot the enemy, to call fire from heaven to devour him, to run and put a million miles between us, is a constant agony. But the lesson is of endurance with patience, trusting that God sees, God knows, and God will act at the right time. It is a call to endurance and humility. It means we don’t have to panic when we see evil thriving. It means we do not need to obsess over who is genuine and who isn’t.

Our task is to grow faithfully where God has planted us - in families, marriages etc. To trust the Lord of harvest to separate with perfect justice when the time comes. The weeds are grass that the wind blows away. The enemy is temporary no matter how unbearable the waiting seems. Take comfort in the word of God, in the life of Abraham, Job, Daniel, Hannah and more. No matter how long it takes, evil and evil doers are temps. The weeds will not have the last word.

THE WORD: “Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.” (Mat. 13:43 NIV)

TODAY'S TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING THE SCRIPTURES

PRACTICAL CHRISTIANITY - MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT
May 14th, 2026.

Our understanding of the scriptures is shaped by the Bible stories we heard and the extracted part presented to us when growing up. It is so bad that some of us believe that they have a good knowledge of the word of God. Whenever we pick up the Bible to read/study, especially when opened to a familiar story, the memory of what we’ve heard rivals what is in front of us - our understanding has been compromised. Many do not know that the word of God is ‘living water’; it is new every day.

The word of God is not static, it is dynamic. Every story has a past, a present and a future in it. The word is not in the past because it was written over 2000 years ago. It has as much relevance today, (even as modern as we want to believe today is with technology that was not available then) and it also has a future. All in the same word. Because “the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Heb. 4:12 NIV) The word sees through us. Nothing is hidden in its path and that is because it is the truth and truth does not change.

Some people paint the Bible as uninteresting. That is so because they read it without the key that unlocks the mysteries in the Holy Book. For the Bible to be meaningful, it has to be read through the eyes of the one that inspired it - the Holy Spirit. “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive.” (John 7:37-39 NIV)

Here is an example of how stories we were told shape our understanding and keep us stagnant. Many focus on the sin of David. Every story, preaching, about David is tinted with his adultery with Bathsheba. Meanwhile God had moved past David’s sin. Yes, David fell, repented, paid the price of disobedience, was forgiven and restored. God made an everlasting covenant with David (2 Sam.7:12-13). David still remains one of the shining generals of God that ever lived. God said, He will not bring our sins to remembrance (Heb. 8:12; 10:17; Jer. 31:34; Isa. 43:25) and more. So, why is our focus on David’s sin and not his redemption? This tells who we are - who we really are.

The sin you focused on in that man or woman who has given his/her life to Jesus is forgiven and trashed, burnt and thrown into an everlasting sea of forgetfulness. You too should move on to positive energy.

THE WORD: “Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” (Rom. 8:34-35 NIV)
