ONE MINUTE … ONE WORD – Pride Only Begets A Fall (Jan. 1, 2023)

Do you know that the proud cannot be sustained at the top?

God's Word: "You will be driven away from other humans and will live with the wild animals. You will eat grass like cattle, and seven periods of time will pass over you until you acknowledge that the Most High dominates human kingship, giving it to anyone he wants.” (Daniel 4:32 – CEB)

We must not let pride remove us from our place in God. We will suffer for it if we do. Pride will do nothing but bring a man down (Proverbs 29:23). Pride must die in our lives.

God will always resist the proud no matter what. He, however, gives honour and grace to the Humble (James 4:6). The bible also warns us about pride in Matthew 23:12, encouraging us to humble ourselves so we may be exalted. Beloved, there is no room for pride.

Today, God breaks the shackles of pride over your life in Jesus' name. God bless you, and do have a wonderful day. Amen

ONE MINUTE … ONE WORD – Divine Strengthening (Dec. 30, 2022)

It is only God that strengthens a man and he is not afraid.

God's Word: "Don’t be afraid,” he said, “for you are very precious to God. Peace! Be encouraged! Be strong!” As he spoke these words to me, I suddenly felt stronger and said to him, “Please speak to me, my Lord, for you have strengthened me". (Daniel 10:19 – NLT)

The empowerment of God is not for show but for service. God will always strengthen whom He sends. In our limitations, God’s strength shines brightest in us (2 Corinthians 12:9). Our current weakness does not matter to God.

It is only the strength of God in us that can eliminate fear. When we call to God in despair, He answers us and strengthens us (Psalm 138:3). The Bible further admonishes us in Isaiah 41:10 not to fear for He will strengthen us. Beloved God will empower you.

Today, God strengthens you to overcome all your fears in Jesus name. God bless you and do have a wonderful day. Amen

ONE MINUTE … ONE WORD – The Pleasure Of Sin (Dec. 29, 2022)

Do you know that a Prince can trade away his rights to be a King?

God's Word: "Make sure that no one is immoral or godless like Esau, who traded his birthright as the firstborn son for a single meal". (Hebrews 12:16 – NLT)

We must be wise. We cannot afford to abdicate our rights. The law was enacted to deter the unholy and the ungodly (1 Timothy 1:9). It will be foolishness for us to lose our princely inheritance for the momentary pleasure of sin.

We must make a conscious effort not to allow sinful desires fester in our hearts. This is because sin starts from the heart (Mark 7:21). Esau’s decision to sell his birth right started with a longing to satisfy his desires. Beloved, guard your hearts not to indulge sinful thoughts.

Today, God grants us victory over our lusts in Jesus name. God bless you and do have a wonderful day. Amen

To smile in the face of adversity is a blessing from God. It is borne of the assurance that no matter what we face, no matter how bad it gets, God is with us, and so we shall not fail, neither shall we be defeated. We may fall, but we will get up.

ONE MINUTE … ONE WORD – Humbly Praise The King

Do you know that God is a King of Kings?

God's Word: "Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and honour the King of heaven, for all His works are true and faithful and His ways are just, and He is able to humiliate and humble those who walk in [self-centred, self-righteous] pride". (Daniel 4:37 - AMP)

We cannot afford to let Pride take hold of our life. If we allow pride rule us, God will have no choice but to humble us (Job 40:12). This is because God cannot tolerate pride. Our praises to Him must be in humility.

God is our Rock and His works are perfect. He is faithful, righteous and upright (Deuteronomy 32:4). The Bible in Acts 17:24 describes God as the one who made the world and all therein. Beloved, in humility, praise His name.

Today, God elevates you as you humbly praise Him in Jesus name. God bless you and do have a wonderful day. Amen

ONE MINUTE … ONE WORD – Be Wise And Live Rightly (Dec. 26, 2022)

It is foolishness to live life without purpose.

God's Word: "So be very careful how you live, not being like those with no understanding, but live honourably with true wisdom, for we are living in evil times". (Ephesians 5:15 - TPT)

We must put an end to anxiety in our lives. God’s wisdom is what will guide us safely through each day. We must be conscious of the times we live in as they are evil (Ephesians 5:16). We must seek God for guidance and for life.

Seek God daily and make everyday count for good. We must live smart and be wise in God (Matthew 10:16). The bible warns us in Exodus 23:13 that no other god can be the focus of our lives. Only God can make everyday good for you.

Today, God’s wisdom will continue to guide you in Jesus name. God bless you and do have a wonderful day. Amen

The Love of God for mankind made Him send His Son Jesus to pay the price of redemption for the sin of man so that mankind could be saved.

Jesus was born to be a sacrifice of love for our salvation. As we celebrate Christmas, let us not forget His sacrifice. Jesus is the reason for the season, and the foundation of this season is love.

May the love of God shine through your life and family in Jesus name. Amen!

ONE MINUTE … ONE WORD – God Is The Source of Good (Dec 25, 2022)

Do you know that anything that is good has its origin in God?

God's Word: "Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God". (3 John 1:11 - ESV)

A man may choose to fool himself but no one can fool God. Anyone who is of God cannot but do good (1 John 2:29). Let us therefore be careful. Only the good God can birth good in us.

We are God's own so we must do good. No one in God can keep sinning (1 John 3:6). The Psalmist in Psalm 37:27 admonishes us to do good and be established forever. Beloved, God’s goodness is evident in you.

From today, God’s goodness shines through your life forever in Jesus name. God bless you and do have a wonderful day. Amen
