A Brief Study on Faith Part 2

All things are possible to him that believes Mark 9:23

Here believing is acting on the Word of God

Faith is known by her actions inspired by the Word of God

Peter acted on the Word at the beautiful gate. The crippled man of over 40 years leaped and walked. Acts 3:6

Faith is acting and speaking the Word of God.
Sense knowledge speaks the word of man and circumstances. Faith speaks the Word of God only and that with absolute boldness

For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Mark 11:23

There two things to notice: He believes in his heart and believes that what he says will come to pass. When this happens all forces of man, devil and circumstances becomes subject to believer

Faith is effective when you believe in your heart and believe the words of your lips. This gives you power over demons, disease and circumstances.

Faith calls the things that are not as though they were. Romans 4
:17
Abraham counted that Sarah was able to give birth to a son at 90 years, she became the Mother of Isaac.

Abraham believe that his body will be rejuvenated and it was.

Moses believed that there was a foot path in the midst of the red sea and there was.

Joshua believed that the mighty walls of Jerico will be as flat and smooth as a football field and it was.

You can see the Dominating power of faith over Prevailing circumstances.

Your Faith in God will conquer anything at anytime.

A Brief Study on Faith Part 1

Faith is not a product of sense knowledge( knowledge gained through seeing, hearing, touching, tasting and feeling) neither is it a product of intellectual faculties

Faith is a product of the Word of God born in the human spirit.
The Word is the only source of strength for the human spirit. Matt 4:4

Faith cannot be built by the abstract human reasoning or meditation.
Faith is only built by hearing and acting on the Word of God

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:3 NKJV

Faith is the creative ability of God and Man, that's why Faith is the mightiest force in the universe.

Without faith there's no meaning to life for the just shall live by faith. Hebrew. 10:38

Faith is the force that brings success
Doubt and unbelief are the forces that bring failure

When sense knowledge and human reasoning takes the place of faith man becomes a failure

The bolder the faith, the greater the success
Faith wins, Doubt and unbelief lose
When faith dies, success folds it's wings.

God is love and He works by faith. 1 John 4:8, Gal. 5:6

The Necessity and Urgency of Prayer

The failure of all Christain adventures is a prayer failure.
Prayer alone gives success and victory
Prophecy fails not just because of unbelief and doubts, but due to lack of Prayer.
Great Faith is accompanied by Great Prayer

There's persistent,tenacious Prayer that will not yield until answer comes.
That's the Prevailing prayer that overcomes every obstacle and brings the answer to where it's needed.

There's the quiet Prayer of Faith whose voice is not too loud, yet it's persistent faith shakes the very throne of God to bring the desired miracle

Jesus said men ought always to pray and not to faint.
Our prayer mileage is our destiny mileage
No destiny, family, business, etc. can raise above it's commitment to prayer.

To pray is to advance, to advance is to win,.winning is the fulfilment of the soul

Mediation, study, preaching, ushering, organisation cannot replace the need for prayer.

Nothing can take the place of prayer.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 "Pray without ceasing.

Let us pray.

THE AUTHORITY OF A BELIEVER MAKES HIM THE MASTER OF DEVILS

The Authority of the believes is rooted on the following

*The Integrity of the Word of God
*The Power in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ
*Eternal Redemption through the Blood of Jesus

It takes simple Bible faith to enforce this authority and see the helplessness of the powers of hell and devils

Authority enforced quietly from the heart of Faith, terrifies the host of hell more than a very loud religious noise

We're not meant to earn Divine Authority, we are to enforce it.

Jesus makes it very clear when he annouced
"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. "
Luke 10:19
