THE LIMITATION OF MAN.
Have you noticed that your thoughts bounce back at you when you try to imagine the beginning of God?
The moment you try to understand how God started, it feels like you’re in a valley of confusion. Everything gets dark and disorganized. Your memory is tampered with and it's feel like you may run mad. That's the elastic limit of your mind.
You ask: If God wasn’t created, how does He exist? If He was created, who created Him? And who created the one that created Him...
The reason you think like that is because you were created with a starting point. It’s hard for something with a beginning to grasp what it means to have no beginning. You are limited on arrival. You'll always think from a beginning.
Not having a beginning is real, but it’s beyond the capacity of your mind. That’s the limitation the One who made you built into you.
Think about it like this: when you build a robot or ai, you set limits on what it can process. If you ask anything outside those limits, it says “I was not created to do that.” Even angels don’t understand the beginning of God, because they were created too. They have a starting point.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 says: “He has set eternity in the human heart, yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
Eternity is in your mind. Your mind is vast, with no real limit. But the one limitation is this: you cannot understand the secret of God’s beginning. It’s not a scroll that needs to be unsealed. It's something beyond a scroll.
Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
That’s the beginning of creation of the skies and the earth.
John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
That’s the beginning before creation. It's a beginning that didn't begin but the Word began with it.
Some things are beyond what man, angels, principalities, or powers can unseal. This is beyond a scroll. It's an eternal secret.
