As i was meditating this morning and was wondering what the Lord has for me this month, then the Holy Spirit brought this to my mind Luke 5 vs 1-11
This is a story of how the fishermen had toiled all night to catch some fishes but all effort wasn't fruitful. Jesus came to Simon for a favor (he used his boat) and Simon permitted Him, afterwards Jesus made him catch so many fishes that he couldn't carry alone, he had to call people to help him (wow I love this kind of blessing o😁), the blessing was huge.
Do you know that it does not take God a second to bless you or give you a major breakthrough in that aspect you looking up to Him for?
Do you also know that God has so much interest in blessing you just like He blessed Simon?
God is willing to bless us, Simon had lost hope cos he was already washing his net. Many of us too have lost hope on a particular issue we have been praying, waiting and expecting God to intervene. We have been laboring and it's looking like it's not coming anymore, some might even be saying what's so special about this month of December, it will look just like every other month cos all I have been expecting since January I haven't gotten it.
God isn't limited by time or sea*on, He is a God of the late hour too, Sarah thought it was late already when God blessed her with a son even in that old age. Don't feel it's too late for God to appear.
God blessed Simon such that he couldn't carry it alone. I am saying this cos of someone who has lost hope over a particular issue, cos it's looking like God isn't answering you, it's looking like it's not coming anymore.
It can still come, it's not too late. God has said it, He can do exceedingly far above your expectations, He also said whatsoever you ask in His name, if you can believe you shall have them.
The month of December is too small for God, He can appear in that situation. Keep looking up to Him from where your help can come, do not give up, keep believing, keep praying, keep confessing good things (calling forth those things that are not as tho they were), be joyful.
Start preparing for your blessing cos it will definitely come. Be encouraged cos the sun shinning can still dry your clothes (orun ton ran yi si to a*o gbe).
Wake up every morning or anytime with your positive confession and watch things start falling in place. Never say negative things cos as you have said so it will be.
December shall favor us all, we shall birth all the blessing we have been carrying this month in Jesus name, the blessings that others will benefit from (I call that contagious blessings), the lord shall give to us in Jesus name. Barrenness becomes fruitful. Don't give up.
Allow Jesus into your life today, just like Simon did and Jesus changed his story. Jesus can give you all that you aspire, we have a Father that loves His children dearly.
If you want to say Yes to Jesus now, you can say this confession sincerely
'Lord Jesus I accept you into my life today as my lord and savior, I believe that you died for me and you rose up on the third day, I repent from all my sins today, come and make me your son/daughter, wash me clean from every iniquity with thy blood. Thank you Lord' .
Congratulations to you if you have made that confession genuinely, the heavens rejoice over a repented sinner, welcome my brother /sister into this kingdom 👏👏
Look for a Bible believing church around you, talk to the pastor about your decision to follow Jesus, read your Bible cos that's your manual, the Holy Spirit shall teach you, from now on, you aren't alone. You will hear God speak to you.
