Bible Reading - Gen 29 v 1-13

Marriage is a parcel or package a man receives but the content is yet to be known. The next worst thing after hell-fire is a bad marriage

Successful marriage is always a triangle between God, the man and the woman

Jacob as a study case married two sisters after he completed his service with their father in genesis 29 v 1-13. Jacob was not yet a wealthy man as at the time of marriage

Attributes Jacob possessed that made Rachel loved him

1) he was hardworking. While others sat down looking at laban's sheep to wallow in thirst Jacob stood up to the responsibility to quench their thirst.
2) He was caring in the way he handled rachel

3) gen 28 v 13 he was God fearing

4) he was wise genesis 30 Jacob wanted to leave Laban and asked for his portion of the sheep. These was the first crossing with divine wisdom

4 stages of riches

1) Morning Stage - at age 20- 40 years God bless them with riches
2) Afternoon Stage - 40-65 years they become rich
3) Evening Stage - 65 upward they meet with wealth
4) While some are born with a silver spoon. All the days of their life they will never know poverty.

Do not marry solely because of money grow up

Red flags in a marriage

For the ladies watch out for the following type of guys

1) Laziness

*Mental laziness- One cannot think or his thinking is very shallow
*Physical Laziness - he does not want to work or paradventure choosy in jobs
*Spiritual Laziness - non ability to observe spiritual activities adequately. Remember Iron sharpeneth Iron

2) proscastination
Vision without mission ends with Television.
These ones keep procrastinating till every opportunity pass them all

3) Babyish Ones. They cannot take decisions on their own. They have to wait for their parents or superiors for commands

4) Sugar coated ones

5) The Jealous on

Here is the WORD of the Lord for someone who is reading this message,no matter what you have lost in the beginning of the year or in the course of the year,God is set to restore all your losses in this season.
Remember that God can't LIE."God is not a man, that He should lie,
Nor a son of man, that He should repent.
Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?"Num 23:19.
Do you desire this to come to pass in your life?
Then:
-Believe every of God's word
-Act on the believed word

And your testimony shall abound IJN.

As God liveth you shall end this year in abundance of joy, peace, prosperity and sound health IJN.

Topic- Godly family in times like this.
Bible text - Joshua 24 v 15-16

The situation of the world today usually put one question to us - 'WHOM SHALL YOU SERVE'.

How do you know you are on the lords side or serving God?
1) You must be connected and remain connected to God jn 15v 4-5.
2) You must be prayerful at all times.
3) You must demonstrate love at all times in your family mat 12 v25.
4) Enjoy quality time with your family in times like this.
5) Remain focused in God in times like this heb 12v 2.

You cannot be a leader if any of your family misses heaven!!!

Prayer - in times like this give me and my family to live according to your will.

THERE IS HOPE Part 1
Text: 2 Kings 20:1-2
In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, went to him and said to him, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Set your house in order, for you shall die, and not live.’”

2 Then he turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the Lord, saying, 3 “Remember now, O Lord, I pray, how I have walked before You in truth and with a loyal heart, and have done what was good in Your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Recall that lots of events and happenings took place that shook the world of recent.This,must have greatly devastated lots of people.Some lost their lives,some lost jobs,some became poor in the process and some businesses collapsed.
Need to tell you that this brought hopelessness to lots of people and eventually greeted with depression.Some depressed people committed suicide.It was so bad.
However,in all these there is HOPE.Job 14:7-9
[7]“Even a tree has more hope!
If it is cut down, it will sprout again
and grow new branches.
[8]Though its roots have grown old in the earth
and its stump decays,
[9]at the scent of water it will bud
and sprout again like a new seedling.
From our opening text,King Hezekiah was terribly sick and was close to death.This is a medical report.Meaning he couldn't survive the sickness.Listen to me,every medical report contrary to the will of God concerning your life shall be reversed now in the name of Jesus.Are u certified barren,are certified diabetic or hypertensive?the good news is that you are coming out of it this season.
While Hezekiah is still battling with the medical report,the Prophet of God came to deliver a message:put your house in order,prepare handing over note,prepare a king to take over from you for you shall die.
Hezekiah did not doubt the messenger of the message but never believed the report.What was the disposition of Hezekiah to the message?How did he take the message?what was his perception to the message?

Topic :Dawn of a New Beginning.

Text: Psalms 30:5 "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning".

There is someone here now that God is about to open a chapter of new beginning to.If you are the one shout Hallelujah.
Glory to God for the wind of Great Turn around that is in the air for someone reading this bulletin now,your season of a new dawn has arrived.
Whatever you have ever experienced in the past year of 2019, pleasant or otherwise, sickness or wholeness,there is going to be a new dawn of new beginning for your great turn around IJN.
From the scripture above,the anger of God is for a while/a moment meaning it's not forever,meaning there is always an end or termination point.I decree upon you today every pronouncement of evil concerning you is terminated now IJN.:barrenness is terminated,sickness is ended.If you believe this shout a great Amen.
Recall that weeping is an Expression of a sorrowful heart,a discontented heart,a broken heart,an unpleasant situation (pains,agony,weakness, poverty etc) however,the good news is this no matter how long you might have been weeping ,the night that will bring an end to it has come IJN.The difference in timing between night and morning is a second.Night symbolises dark moments of one's life,like the man by the pool of Bethesda (John 5),The widow of Nain(Luke 7),and Obed Edom(1 Chro 13:14) but in the morning they all woke up and experienced a new Dawn.The Power that delivered them is available at the moment to heal ,to deliver and to set free.Log in to the power with your faith and this month shall be the foundation of great turn around for you this new year IJN.

Do you know there are so many wonders in the name of Jesus? In John 10:7, He said I am the door. In John 11:25, He says I am the resurrection and the life. In John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. In Isaiah 59:6, He was called wonderful, counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. In Revelation 1:8 says “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty”. He called Himself 8 names at a stretch and each is significant.
