REASON HELPERS SOMETIMES DON'T REMEMBER YOU – PASTOR IKENNA NWANKWO
Genesis 8:1 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing..
Genesis 41:12 And there was there with us a young man, an Hebrew, servant to the captain of the guard; and we told him, and he interpreted to us our dreams; to each man according to his dream he did interpret.
Genesis 30:22 And God remembered Rachel.
1 Samuel 1:19 ..And the LORD remembered her.
2 Samuel 9:1 And David said, Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, that I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's sake?
I believe the issue of Remembrance is a mystery. It is more spiritual than physical.
What do I mean by mystery or spiritual?
I believe that most times it is purely an act of God's divine BENEVOLENCE.
The Butler forgot Joseph for over two(2) years even after the fulfillment of the dream.
He didn't remember Joseph until God impressed it upon his heart. Infact it was as a result of the decree of Pharoah that he remembered Joseph.
Until God impresses upon the heart of men they may never remember you not because they don't want to but because it is sometimes beyond the physical.
The Bible never mentioned any special thing that Mephibosheth did personally to activate divine remembrance. I don't know how many days dry fasting he did or how many Ori Oke(Mountains) he went to that activated this divine remembrance. So this means that sometimes it is purely God's divine intervention in our lives not because of anything special we have done are currently doing. It is mostly acts of God's mercy.
So most times God remembers us by mercy not as a result of human efforts or sacrifice or merit. It is purely an act of His BENEVOLENCE. This should be acknowledged with humility of heart.
However we cannot be ignorant of forces that stand as stumbling blocks, preventing your business, career and ministry from rising or your testimony from emerging.
Many love God and are passionately dedicated yet nothing significant seems to happen. Their lives feel like deserts or barren lands without much results.
The truth is that there are forces that make helpers and friends forget people.Sometimes it appears like everyone has forgotten them.
Remembrance goes beyond the natural, in fact it is a mystery. It goes beyond memory; it touches the spirit of the person who has the capacity to help.
A man can be seeing you regularly and is also aware of your needs and predicament but if the grace for remembrance is not available, he will do nothing about your condition.
They may genuinely want to help but keep forgetting you for reasons they can't explain. This is is not ordinary.
Sometimes they may completely forget that you even exits when there are opportunities and suddenly remember you when such opportunities are no longer available.
It is not because they intentionally want to forget but somehow there are forces making you completely unlocateable in their radar. Making you totally and completely untraceable and invisible in their radar.
Sometimes they deeply and genuinely want to help but somehow they can't remember or trace you in their hearts at that moment
When we talk about the book of remembrance, it is not just about bringing your issue to mind it is God's intervention in your situation.
Some people are not seeing results because they are not doing anything. They sit down, fold their arms, and keep assuring themselves that “one day it will be better.” No, do something. Take action.
When you notice a situation where you have people who can help you and they are not remembering you. It is not a time to complain. IT IS A CALL TO PRAYERS!
It is time to rise up in the spirit and rise against that. You maybe skill in what you do, or gifted and talented and no one is patronizing or recognizing you. You may even be anointed yet not where you should be. It is not a time to fold your hands and keep complaining.
Don't joke with your destiny, rise and fight.
The place of prayer is where these matters are settled. That is why you must not joke with your prayer life, because that is were things that cannot be handled physically are settled.
Some matters can only be settled in the place of prayers.
OH LORD HELP MY HELPERS!
This is a daily covenant prayer I always pray and sometimes i do this with fastings and groaning in the spirit. Keep praying this prayer.
As God remembered Hannah, He will remember you.
As God remembered Noah. He will remember you.
As God made the the butler to remember Joseph, God will make men to remember you.
As God made David to remember Mephibosheth. A man he had no direct business with.That is how God will raise men who have no business remembering you to remember you in Jesus name.
THIS IS YOUR SEASON OF REMEMBRANCE.
