STANDARDS ARE GOOD — BUT THEY CAN BECOME TOO RESTRICTIVE

Having standards in a relationship is important. You should know your values, what you believe, and the kind of character you desire in a partner.

But sometimes, standards and preferences can become so restrictive that you reject almost everyone who comes your way.

The Bible says:

“He that is first in his own cause seemeth just; but his neighbour cometh and searcheth him.”
— Proverbs 18:17 (KJV)

Not every preference carries the same weight. Character, integrity, faith, purpose, and how someone treats you may matter far more than height, complexion, occupation, tribe, social status, or a long list of personal preferences.

Be careful not to create such a narrow picture of your “ideal person” that you cannot recognize a genuinely good person who does not fit every preference.

Father, give me wisdom to know the difference between godly standards and unnecessary restrictions. Help me to see people with discernment and not reject what You have prepared for me because of unrealistic expectations, in the name of Jesus.

🌿 HAPPY NEW MONTH TO YOU!

Welcome to the month of RESTORATION — OCTOBER!

October is a month to believe God again for the things you thought were lost forever. There are things you lost, things that were stolen from you, things that were damaged, delayed, or taken away by circumstances—but God is able to restore.

The Bible says, “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten...” — Joel 2:25 (KJV). This is the heart of God: He does not only comfort us in our losses; He is able to bring restoration into the places where we have experienced loss.

God can restore your peace, your joy, your strength, your opportunities, your finances, your relationships, and the things that are within His will for your life. Sometimes restoration means God bringing back what was lost; sometimes it means God giving you something greater; and sometimes it means God restoring you so deeply that what once broke you no longer has power over you.

The Bible says, “He restoreth my soul...” — Psalm 23:3 (KJV). And Job experienced this restoring power when Scripture says, “the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.” — Job 42:10 (KJV).

So, do not enter October remembering only what you lost. Enter this month remembering who your God is. The God who restored Job is still God. The God who restored David is still God. The God who restores the soul is still God.

🙏 O Father, in this month of restoration, let Your restoring power visit every area of our lives that needs Your intervention. Restore what has been lost, recover what has been stolen, heal what has been broken, and bring back hope where disappointment has taken over. Let October become a month of undeniable restoration and testimony, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

BECAUSE YOU HAVE PRAYED AND YOU HAVE NOT GOTTEN PREGNANT DOES NOT MEAN GOD HAS FORGOTTEN YOU

You may have prayed for years. You may have cried, fasted, believed, and wondered why the answer has not come yet.

But delay is not proof that God has forgotten you.

The Bible says:

“He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.”
— Psalm 113:9 (KJV)

Sarah waited. Hannah waited. Elizabeth waited. Their waiting did not mean God had abandoned them.

Your present situation is not the final chapter. Keep your faith in God, keep praying, and continue to trust Him. Do not allow the length of the waiting season to convince you that God has forgotten your name.

The Bible says:

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
— Luke 1:37 (KJV)

Keep believing. Keep seeking God. And where medical care is needed, do not be afraid to seek it. Faith and wise medical care can go together.

Father, remember every woman trusting You for the fruit of the womb. Strengthen her heart, preserve her hope, guide her steps, and let her experience Your mercy and faithfulness, in the name of Jesus.

IT IS IMPORTANT TO DECREE AND DECLARE OVER THE NEW MONTH

A new month should not be entered casually. It is important to enter it with prayer, faith, expectation, and the Word of God.

Before you step into a new month, speak concerning your life. Declare what you are trusting God for. Commit your plans, family, finances, health, work, ministry, and future into the hands of God.

The Bible says:

“Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”
— Job 22:28 (KJV)

Your words must agree with God's Word. Do not enter the new month with fear and negative expectations. Enter it believing that God is able to order your steps, open doors, protect you, provide for you, and bring His purposes to pass.

The Bible says:

“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”
— Proverbs 16:3 (KJV)

Therefore, decree and declare over the new month. Speak life. Speak God's promises. Pray over your family. Pray over your plans. Ask God for wisdom, direction, favour, protection, provision, divine connections, and testimonies.

Father, as I enter this new month, go before me and order my steps. Let Your Word prevail in every area of my life. Let every good thing You have ordained for me come to pass, and let this new month bring divine help, favour, protection, breakthroughs, and testimonies, in the name of Jesus.

THE POOL OF SUITABLE PARTNERS IS SMALLER THAN IT APPEARS

Sometimes, it may look like there are so many people available for marriage. You meet people, receive messages, get introductions, and see many single people around you.

But not everyone who is available is suitable for you.

Some may not share your values. Some may not be emotionally ready. Some may not have the character, maturity, or intentions required to build a healthy marriage.

The Bible says:

“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”
— Amos 3:3 (KJV)

This is why you should not measure your chances of marriage simply by the number of people who show interest in you. The real question is not, “How many people want me?” but “Who is genuinely suitable for the kind of marriage I am called to build?”

Proverbs 19:2 says:

“Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth.”

Don’t rush simply because the pool looks small.

Be discerning. Be patient. Pray. Pay attention to character, values, purpose, and compatibility.

Not everyone who comes your way is your person.

“I’VE HAD MANY ADMIRERS, BUT I’M STILL SINGLE AT 35.”

Having many admirers is not the same thing as having a suitable marriage partner.

People can admire your beauty, intelligence, personality, or achievements, but admiration does not automatically mean that someone is ready, compatible, intentional, and prepared to build a marriage with you.

The Bible says:

“Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.”
— Proverbs 18:22 (KJV)

So don’t count the number of people who have shown interest in you. Look deeper. Who has the character? Who has the right intentions? Who is ready to build? Who shares your values and can walk with you in agreement?

And please don't let turning 35 make you desperate. Your age should make you more discerning, not more willing to accept anybody.

Father, give me wisdom and discernment. Help me to recognize a suitable partner among those who come into my life, and give me grace not to choose out of fear or pressure, in the name of Jesus.

NOT EVERYONE WILL LIKE YOU

Some people will never like you, no matter how much you try. You can love them, help them, support them, and give them your very best, yet they may still choose not to love or appreciate you.

The Bible says:

“If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.”
— Romans 12:18 (KJV)

Notice that Scripture says “as much as lieth in you.” You can do your part, but you cannot control how another person chooses to feel about you.

So stop exhausting yourself trying to make everybody love you. Walk in love. Do what is right. Keep your heart clean. But understand that not everyone will accept you, and that is okay.

Jesus Himself said:

“Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you!”
— Luke 6:26 (KJV)

You don't need everybody to like you. You need to remain who God has called you to be.

HEALING FROM PAST RELATIONSHIP TRAUMA THROUGH GOD’S GRACE

Sometimes, the relationship is over, but the pain is still there.

You may have been betrayed, rejected, disappointed, abused, or deeply hurt—and now every new relationship feels like a reminder of what happened before.

But God can heal what people damaged.

You do not have to carry the pain of yesterday into the relationship God has for your tomorrow.

Give God your broken heart. Let Him restore your trust, renew your mind, and teach you to love again without being controlled by the wounds of your past.

Your past relationship may have hurt you, but it does not have to define your future.

May the grace of God heal your heart, restore your peace, and make you whole again, in the name of Jesus. ❤️🙏🏽

SPEAK TO YOUR WOMB

Don’t wait for everybody to pray for you before you believe God for the fruit of the womb. There is a place for you to open your mouth and declare God’s Word over your womb.

The Bible says:

“There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land.”
— Exodus 23:26 (KJV)

Therefore, don’t speak only about the delay. Speak about what God has promised. Speak life. Speak fruitfulness. Speak conception. Speak motherhood.

“For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked him.”
— 1 Samuel 1:27 (KJV)

Today, speak to your womb in faith:

“My womb, hear the Word of the Lord! I declare that you are fruitful. I declare conception and the safe carrying of my child. I reject barrenness and every opposition to my fruitfulness. I will carry my child and I will testify of the goodness of God. My womb shall produce, in the name of Jesus!”

— Psalm 113:9 (KJV)

Your testimony is coming. Keep believing, keep praying, and keep speaking God’s Word over your womb. 🙏🏽
