📌HE BROUGHT US UNTO HIMSELF
Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself (Exodus 19:4).

When God delivered the children of Israel from Egypt, His purpose was greater than rescuing them from oppression. Deliverance was only the beginning. His ultimate desire was revealed in His words as read in our opening scripture: He bore them on eagles' wings, and brought them unto Himself. He didn't merely bring them out of Egypt.

This reveals the heart of God. His goal has always been fellowship, relationship with man. He wanted a people who would belong to Him, walk with Him and live in the consciousness of His love and purpose. That's why He went on to say in the ensuing verses: "…then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation...” (Exodus 19:5-6). They were chosen, separated, and set apart for Him.

What God foreshadowed in Israel has found its greater fulfilment in Christ and the Church! Through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, you've been brought into an inseparable union with God. You're not separated from Him, trying to find your way into His presence. You've been joined unto the Lord and made one spirit with Him: “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17).

The Apostle Peter echoed the same words God spoke to Moses when he declared that you're "...a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people..." (1 Peter 2:9). To Israel, it was preconditioned on their obedience to the Law, but for us, it’s a promise fulfilled, our inheritance in Christ.

We’re His peculiar treasure, inseparably one with Him. You're not an ordinary person struggling through life alone. You’re in Him, and He’s in you. He brought you out of darkness into His marvellous light, into a life of glory, excellence and divine purpose. You're borne by His power, guided by His wisdom and established in His blessings. Walk in the confidence, dignity and purpose of one who belongs to Christ, the King, and has been set apart for His glory. Hallelujah!

PRAYER/CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for bringing me into an inseparable union with you. I rejoice in the knowledge that I am your peculiar treasure, holy and sanctified. I walk in the consciousness of my oneness with you, and I fulfil your purpose for my life with boldness and joy, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

📌YOU’VE OBTAINED MERCY
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

In Christianity, we don’t try to persuade God to be merciful toward us. We don’t cry out for mercy, hoping He'll hear and respond. In Christ Jesus, we’ve already obtained mercy. 1 Peter 2:10 makes it clear: “Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”

Notice the language; it doesn't say you're seeking mercy or waiting for mercy but that you’ve obtained it. Before you ever knew enough to ask for it, God lavished His mercy upon you through Jesus Christ. This understanding should change the way you relate with God. You’re different from those of the Old Testament.

Blind Bartimaeus cried out, “…Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me” (Mark 10:47). But through the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ, you've become a beneficiary of God's abundant mercy and a partaker of His grace. That's why Hebrews 4:16 tells you to come boldly to the throne of grace: “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

It doesn't say come begging, or fearfully, uncertain of God's disposition toward you. Rather, it says come boldly and take hold of what has already been provided; receive and enjoy all that His grace has already made available.

Refuse to approach God with a sense of unworthiness or uncertainty. He has already qualified you in Christ to be a partaker of every heavenly blessing: “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light” (Colossians 1:12).

Dear Father, thank you for your abundant mercy that has been freely bestowed on me in Christ Jesus. 📌MAINTAIN SPIRITUAL FOCUS
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee (Isaiah 26:3).

Focus is the concentration of attention, energy, and vision on something. When God tells you to focus, He wants you to be undistracted. One of Satan’s strategies against God’s people is distraction. He seeks to shift your attention away from the eternal realities of God’s Kingdom to circumstances, fears, pressures, and the transient things of life. But we’re not ignorant of his devices.

The Psalmist said, “The godless spread lies about me, but I focus my attention on what you’re saying” (Psalm 119:69 MSG). What a mindset! In the midst of opposition, accusations, and distractions, he fixed his attention on the Word. That’s the secret of spiritual stability and progress. When your attention is focused on God’s Word, your spirit remains aligned with truth, victory, and divine direction.

The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:18 to look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are unseen. The unseen realm is real, and God’s Word unveils its realities to us. Your physical senses may not perceive them, but your spirit can. Therefore, set your heart and affection on eternal things.

Proverbs 4:25-27 says, “Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee....Turn not to the right hand nor to the left....” In other words, maintain focus. The Apostle Paul exemplified this mindset when he said, “...one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before” (Philippians 3:13). He understood the power of focused vision.

A double-minded man, the Bible says, is unstable in all his ways and unable to receive anything from God (James 1:8). Instability produces weakness and inconsistency, but focus produces strength, clarity and victory. So, live with steadfastness of mind. Run your race with purpose: “So I run straight to the goal with purpose in every step. I fight to win. I’m not just shadow-boxing or playing around” (1 Corinthians 9:26 TLB).

Stay spiritually focused on the Lord, on His Word, and on the eternal crown set before you. As you do, He’ll keep you in perfect peace, strength, unwavering prosperity and victory. Hallelujah!

Dear Father, thank you for your Word that guides and establishes my heart in truth. My mind is steadfast and focused on your eternal realities. I refuse distractions, instability and double-mindedness; rather, I walk with clarity, purpose and unwavering confidence, fulfilling your destiny for my life in joy, victory and peace, in Jesus’ Name. 📌LOVE THE CHURCH FROM YOUR HEART
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood (Acts 20:28).

The Church of Jesus Christ is the most powerful organism in the world. We’re far more than an organization; we’re an organism. The Church is a living thing, the living body of Christ in the earth. This is why your attitude towards the Church matters a great deal. You must consciously love the Church of God from the depths of your heart.

The Apostle Paul, by the Spirit, describes the Church as that which God “purchased with his own blood.” The Lord Jesus paid an extraordinary price for the Church, the price of His blood, His very life. Therefore, to love Christ is to love His Church.

This love must go beyond the walls of your local assembly or denomination. Sometimes, people become so conscious of denominational differences; names, structures, or traditions that they forget the greater truth: we’re all one body in Christ. The local assembly down your street, though different from yours in style or administration, is still made up of God’s people. Love them. Appreciate them. Pray for them. Honour the work God is doing through them.

The Bible says in Ephesians 4:4, “There is one body, and one Spirit….” We aren’t rivals competing against one another; we’re one body, one family, brothers and sisters in Christ. When this understanding fills your heart, it’ll rid it of jealousy, strife and division to see and relate with fellow Christians with greater love, honour and sincerity because you recognize that the same life of Christ flows through all of us. What a blessing to belong to the family of God; it’s the greatest family in the world. Praise God!

PRAYER/CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for making me a member of the body of Christ. I walk in love for the Church and for every member of the family of God. I honour and appreciate your work and your grace in the lives of fellow Christians around the world, and I declare that they’re strong in faith, giving glory to you always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

📌THERE’S A PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE
For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep… (Acts 13:36).

In the Kingdom of God, everything rides on purpose. God works on purpose. Nothing about your life is accidental or meaningless. You weren’t born merely because your father and mother came together and decided to have children. There’s a divine purpose for your life. There’s a reason God brought you into this world at such a time as this.

The most important thing in life is to discover your purpose and fulfil it. A whole lot of people go through life without ever finding out why they were born. They drift through life, distracted by endless pursuits, troubled by many things, frustrated by circumstances, unfulfilled and dissatisfied.

But when you know your purpose, your life changes; you become focused. Your decisions become clearer. Your priorities align with God’s direction for your life. You’re no longer tossed about by distractions because your heart is set on fulfilling the purpose for which God raised you.

The Lord Jesus lived this way. He knew exactly why He came. He said, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day…” (John 9:4). He stayed on course. He wasn’t distracted by opposition, applause, or human expectations. And at the end, He could boldly declare, “... It is finished...” (John 19:30). He had accomplished the purpose for which the Father sent Him.

The Apostle Paul had the same consciousness. Towards the end of his earthly ministry, he said, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:7). What a testimony! He knew when he was done because he had lived with purpose and stayed faithful to the divine assignment God gave him. You must live with that same consciousness. Stay on course until you fulfil your divine assignment.

Dear Father, I rejoice at your purpose and calling upon my life. I walk in wisdom and spiritual understanding, fulfilling the destiny you’ve ordained for me. I refuse distractions and remain focused on accomplishing your will with excellence, courage and faithfulness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

📌REVELATION OF DIVINE SUBSTITUTION
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him (2 Corinthians 5:21).

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the revelation of divine substitution. The Lord Jesus took your place so that you might take His place. This is the beauty, simplicity, and power of Christianity. God didn’t ask man to save himself or work his way into righteousness. Instead, He made the Lord Jesus the substitute for humanity.

Our opening scripture says, “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin....” Then the concluding portion tells us the reason God did it: that we might be made the righteousness of God in Christ! Jesus never sinned, never came under Satan’s dominion. Yet, God made Him to be sin for us so that we might be made righteous. This is the great exchange.

Notice the language carefully. It doesn’t say we should try to become righteous but that we’ve been made the righteousness of God in Christ. The moment you received Christ, this became your reality. Righteousness was imparted to your spirit as a gift of grace.

A similar truth is seen in 2 Corinthians 8:9 about your prosperity. It says, “For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich." Again, notice the substitution. He took your place of poverty so that you could walk in prosperity, in the blessings and provisions of the Kingdom.

This principle was foreshadowed in the Old Testament when the children of Israel were bitten by fiery serpents because of their rebellion against God. The Lord instructed Moses to make a bronze serpent and place it on a pole. Then He declared that everyone who looked upon it would live (Numbers 21:8-9).

Notice how simple God made it. He didn’t say they had to struggle, crawl, or perform works to earn healing. He simply said, “Look and live.” Some may have thought it was too easy, yet that was God’s provision for their salvation from death.

In the same way today, salvation, righteousness, healing, and eternal life are received by looking to the Lord Jesus in faith. The work has already been done. The sacrifice has already been made. Your part is to believe and receive. Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJV) says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

Never think Christianity is about trying to earn God’s acceptance through human effort. The Lord Jesus already took your place. Now, through Him, you’ve received righteousness, life, blessings and victory evermore, freely. Glory to God!

PRAYER/CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ and for the glorious exchange that took place through His death, burial, and resurrection. I rejoice knowing that I’ve been made the righteousness of God in Christ and have received your life, blessings and victory freely by grace, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

📌SIN-FREE AND DEATH-FREE
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit, for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:1-2).

The Christian life is one of absolute liberty in Christ. The moment you were born again, you were brought into a new realm of existence with dominion over sin and death. This is what the Apostle Paul unveils in Romans 8:1-2.

Notice the distinction: The one who’s in Christ no longer walks according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. Why? The answer is in the second verse: a new law is now at work in him—“the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus.” This law has made you free from death, and the law of sin.

The expression “made me free” as used by the Apostle Paul is deeper than merely being delivered from something. It carries the thought of separation; complete separation from the dominion and influence of sin and from death. It literally means you’re sin-free and death-free.

This is a vital truth every Christian must understand. Many still think of themselves as vulnerable to the same limitations, fears, corruption, and death that dominate the natural man. But the Word says otherwise. You’ve been brought into righteousness, into the realm of life and immortality through the Gospel.

2 Timothy 1:9-10 tells us the Lord Jesus has “…saved us, and called us with an holy calling…abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.” The life in you now is the resurrection life of Christ. It’s superior to sin, darkness, sickness, fear, failure, and death.

This is why you should never think, talk, or act like one under the bo***ge of sin or of death. The God-life in you has intrinsic attributes—sinlessness and deathlessness! Walk in this consciousness. Refuse to accommodate guilt, defeat, condemnation, or death in any form. You belong to another realm: the sin-free and death-free zone. Hallelujah!

PRAYER/CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus that has made me sin-free and death free. I walk in the consciousness of eternal life, victory, dominion, and righteousness. Fear, condemnation, sickness and death have no place in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

📌WE’RE REPLETE WITH HIM
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God (Ephesians 3:19).

In our previous study, we made the very important point that being born of God, we’re as divine as the Lord Jesus is. If that weren’t true, then He failed in His mission. But blessed be God, He didn’t. He said, “...I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). That life is the very life and nature of God imparted to your spirit. You’re replete with God!

This is the reality many have never understood. They still think of Christianity from a distance, as though God merely helps us from heaven while we struggle through life as ordinary men. But that’s not the Gospel. The Gospel is that God brought you into oneness with Himself and filled you with His fullness.

The Apostle Paul understood this revelation. That’s why, in Ephesians 3, he prayed for the Christians at Ephesus for God to grant them, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man. He wasn’t praying this for himself; he was already living in this reality. Then he culminates the prayer with something staggering: “...that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:19).

If this weren’t possible, then it wouldn’t have been penned for us in the Scriptures. He wanted them filled with all the fullness of God, replete with Him. That’s your reality today in Christ Jesus. God has filled you with Himself, with His Spirit, without measure (John 3:34). You contain the maximum load of God, completely furnished to the brim with divinity.

This is the very same thing the Bible says concerning the Lord Jesus. Colossians 1:19 says, “For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell.” Then Colossians 2:9 declares, “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.” He carried the fullness of deity in bodily form. But guess what? The very next verse says, “And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power” (Colossians 2:10).

He said in John 20:21, “...as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.” God filled Jesus with Himself and sent Him into the world. He wouldn’t send you with anything less. 📌THE ETERNAL ELIXIR
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you (Romans 8:11).

Through the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, God accomplished something extraordinary. He made it possible for us to receive the Holy Spirit. In John 16:7, He said, “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”

Then, on the day of Pentecost, He fulfilled His Word; the Holy Spirit came (Acts 2:1-4). Galatians 3:13-14 also tells us, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law... That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”

Notice the purpose and climax of His redemptive work: that we might receive the promise of the Spirit. The ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives is far greater than many have understood. He didn’t come merely to help you carry out certain spiritual activities or occasionally empower you to do something for God.

Consider the blood in the human body: the Bible says, “...the life of the flesh is in the blood...” (Leviticus 17:11). Human life is sustained by blood. But when you’re born again, the Holy Spirit takes up His abode in you and becomes the life of your physical body. It helps you understand what the Lord Jesus meant when He said, “… if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them…” (Mark 16:18).

You now live by a higher principle of life. As a result of the Holy Spirit living in you, you’re uninfectable. Romans 8:10-11 (ESV) further unveils this truth beautifully. It says, “But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.”

Your body is no longer helplessly subject to sickness, disease, and corruption. The Spirit of God in you means divine life at work in your entire being. PRAYER/CONFESSION
Dear Father, thank you for the life and ministry of the Holy Spirit in me. I walk in the consciousness of your divine life at work in my spirit, soul, and body. My body is vitalized by the Holy Spirit, and I live in health, strength, victory, and righteousness always, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
