TEACH THEM TO SAY NO WHEN NECESSARY.
Many people don't know that 'No' is a language of strength. Children should learn this early in life because this is one of the major causes of failure in life. There was this life story someone very close shared with me that made me weep: A friend lured her friend to a neigbouring country to see a native doctor for charm to hasten the marriage plans between her and her U.S based fiancé not knowing that the friend has made arrangements with the native doctor to do the unthinkable: this young lady was hypnotized and got married to the native doctor and had children for him. She only came to the realization of her predicament after over ten years and the only thing she remembered was that she went with her friend to see a native doctor in BENIN REPUBLIC. She returned to Nigeria only to discover that the friend that took her to BENIN has married her U.S based fiance.
REASONS PEOPLE FIND IT DIFFICULT TO SAY NO
(1)They want to be accepted by all
(2)They lack knowledge of the negative effect of being men pleasers.
(3)People naturally don't want to hear the word "No". So in order to be in their good book, they say YES even when it is not convenient or against the will of God.
The truth is that men pleasers can never please God. When children don't learn this lesson early, you loose them to Satan and his agents. Children should know the truth and stand by the truth at all times. Men pleasers miss the will of God because of their desire to be friends to all.
1Thess. 2:2-6
From the above scripture, we can see that courage is needed to please God.. Paul said that God gave them courage to declare the good news boldly, inspite of great opposition. Our children should be courageous to say No when they need to do so no matter the cost. They have to listen to the Spirit of God before saying YES or NO because we are expected to stand by our words. Verse 4 says :That we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the good news. Our purpose is to please God. Children should know that God examines our heart as we make our choices and as such should make choices that will attract His blessings not curses.
DISADVANTAGES OF MAKING THE WRONG CHOICE
(1)You pay a great and a very high price.
(2)You loose focus and live a life contrary to God's purpose for you.
(3)You will be condemned on the last day because you did not fulfill your God given assignment.
Allow people to know who you are and what you stand for, if you are accepted for who you are fine, if not, move on with your life. It is better to be a friend of God than to be a friend of the world.
NOTE--Psalm 85:8 Says: I will hear what the Lord will speak, for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints, but let them not turn again to folly.
As you make decisions, watch if you have peace in your inner man. Absence of peace is an indication that you are out of his will. Struggling, pain, shame are the bitter experiences of operating outside the will of God. That young lady suffered in the hand of an enemy friend because she could not say "No" to her wicked friend when she needed to do so.
The journey of one mile starts with a step. God will give us grace to teach our children precepts upon precepts until they become vessels of honour, sanctified and meet for the father's use in Jesus mighty name.
Somebody is saying : I do not even have a child, receive your twins in Jesus mighty name. Another is saying - My child is a thorn in my flesh, I remove the rod of the wicked from that child's life in Jesus mighty name.

SELF KNOWLEDGE

Welcome back to this platform where the Holy Spirit Himself inspires us on how to raise kingdom children. Be blessed as you read in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
My lovely sister, Sinach, sang a song "WE ARE A CHOSEN GENERATION " Many enjoyed the melody but did not pay attention to the lyrics.That song is loaded with great insight that can transform our lives.
Knowledge of who we are will solve over 90% of the challenges we face in life. In 1Samuel 8, Israel requested for a King to judge them like other nations because they did not know themselves; they did not know that they were Peculiar, Special and Totally Different from other nations. In verse 18, Samuel told them that God will not answer their prayers when the repercussions of their choice will trouble them. The truth remains that when we lack knowledge of who we are in Christ, we act contrary to God's will and then we suffer loss.
Parents should therefore start early to educate their children on self knowledge and help them to realize themselves in Christ. This will deliver them from unnecessary competition that leads to a life of struggle.
Identity crisis has ruined the lives of many children, but your children by this knowledge are exempted in Jesus mighty name. Amen! Our worth and value should come from whom God has made us to be in Christ and not from friends, neighbours, television, teachers or lecturers. Parents should guide their children through the Scriptures to acquire this knowledge Deut.6:5-8
Jesus knew who He was and that made Him start His father's business at age twelve and He finished well and strong. That will be the testimony of our children in Jesus mighty name. Amen! Daniel and his three friends did exploits in a strange land because they knew who they were. They were outstanding in the midst of the evil society they found themselves.
We are in a difficult and hard times and the devil is out to destroy our children but when they are armed with this knowledge, they will stand out and be saved in the midst of wolves: They will not be corrupted by the agents of Satan in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
Somebody said, if you don't know where you are going, you will end your journey anywhere and you know that "anywhere" is not a destination.

Your children will give you joy and bring glory to God. You that is called barren has become the mother of children in Jesus mighty name. I speak to that child that is causing you pain and sorrow, the story has changed now, that child will bring you so much joy from now onward in Jesus mighty name. Amen!
