THE WORLD IS PASSING AWAY

Scripture Reading: 1 John 2

And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever. 1 John 2:17

This passage has a clear spiritual focus that emphasizes that the things of the world, including the earth itself, are temporary.

• The world is passing away. Everything that the world offers is temporary. Only the things of God are eternal. That is how we should live our live as Christians. We must be mindful of the eternal and live for the eternal.

The things of the world seem to be of great value, but they are worthless when compared to the eternal blessings that come from doing the will of God.

The world is passing away like a decaying super structure. On the outside, everything seems impressive but internally, the forces of decay are at work. Our world, and the life it offers has an implicit sentence of death; its decay has begun. As it passes away, so does our capacity for enjoying it also come to an end.

• He who does the will of God abides forever. Here is the contrast. Those who live for the world, will pass away with the world. However, those who live for God will remain forever.

John exhorts us to live our lives as Jesus lived. While He was on this earth, our Lord was solely focused on doing the will of the Father. That is how we should also live. We must live our lives with eternity in mind.

We have before us, two ways of life: a life lived for eternity and a life lived for time. A worldly person lives for the pleasures of the flesh, but a dedicated Christian, lives for the joys of the Spirit. A worldly believer lives for what he can see, the lust of the eyes; but a spiritual believer lives for the unseen realities of God.

Seeing then, that the love of the world and the love of the Father are absolutely incompatible, which must we choose?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, turn my heart from the lust of this world. Help me to live for that which is eternal. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

👉In places and matters where human efforts and protocols ought to come into play for you and your entire family, God will cause you to have wonderful results and spectacular achievements without human efforts and processes in Jesus'y most powerful, glorious and everlasting name.

👉The processes of men shall be waived for you and your esteem family to have uncommon results, signs, wonders and mighty miracles in the mighty, glorious and miraculous name of Jesus Christ.

🔑The gates and doors that blocked and stopped others to succeed and make significant progress will be completely and permanently removed and destroyed for your sake in Jesus' matchless, wonderful and glorious name.

🔑The ‘Olive Trees’ you need to succeed, excel and be outstanding will be positioned right beside you without your own efforts and contributions in Jesus' progressive, mighty and everlasting name.

👉May God connect you to the source of your blessings, prosperity, breakthrough, joy and peace that will never run dry but continuously and permanently flowing in the most powerful, wonderful and everlasting name of Jesus Christ.

John 20:1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. 20:2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the LORD out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him. 20:3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre. 20:4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre. 20:5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in. 20:6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie, 20:7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself. 20:8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. 20:9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead. 20:10 Then the disciples went away again unto their own home. 20:11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre, 20:12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. 20:13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away. 20:16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. 20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. 20:18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the LORD, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
🔑Love is not silence, it must be demonstrated.
🔑If you love God you will keep his Commandment.
📖John 14:21 -23
He that hath my commandments.
🔑 And keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 📖14:22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
🔑14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
👉The love of God will compel you to go extra miles with God.
👉The Love of God will compel you to put God first in all you do.
👉The love of God will cause you to forsake all thing and follow Him. 👉The love of God will compel you to do His will at all course .
👉You will live a life of righteousness, holiness etc.
👉 You will be a kingdom minded and addicted believer.
👉The love of God will compel you to evangelist to people. 👉The love of God will cause you to give. without complaining 🔑power point, Demonstrate your love for God.
🔑I see God manifesting Himself to you this year in Jesus name.
🔑Go extra miles for God and His kingdom affairs.

📖Text: Exodus 33:14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.
🔑As you go out, God's presence shall go with you and your household,
It is by His grace you woke up this morning, meaning God has a purpose for your life.
Your are not an accident on Earth. Your coming on Earth was divinely planed by your Father (God)
So take quality time out and praise Him, you will be happy why?.
Because your praise will compel His presence in your every day Life.
👉Psalms 22:3 But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
🔑Power point: God Inhabited our praises
👉Receive grace and mercy to accomplish great and mighty things that will glorify God and change your life for better,
👉I decree that you are free misfortune and untimely death.
👉Any evil prepared for you is averted.

God taught for you is to give you a great future and bring all you hope for the pass. All your efforts without God will not yield much.
📖 Rom 9: 16, it is not how far you can run or will. Toiling ends when God totally take over you affairs. Because then you will learn to depend on God.
God wants you to depend on him for instructions on how to go about every affairs of your life. Your destiny, your future is only secure in God.
📖Read Gen 31:11-13 luke 5:4-7, pro 3: 3-6.
👉WHAT MUST I DO TO MAKE SURE MY DESTINY IS SECURED?
1️⃣ Submit yourself totally to God. V📖 James 4:7-8. Separate and dedicate your self to God.
2️⃣ Love God with all thy heart.
👉 1 Coritains 2:9-11. The best blessing of God are only reserved for God lovers.
3️⃣ Your Love for God is only prove by obeying His commandment . 📖 Isaiah 1:19 🙏 1️⃣ Father bring my destiny out of all obscurity and darkness in Jesus might name.
🙏2️⃣ Oh Lord cause your light to shine on me.
🙏3️⃣ Oh Lord destroy any stranger feeding from my destiny in Jesus name.
🙏4️⃣ Lord Jesus I surrender my life into your hand. Make me what you ordained me to be.

🌹 Message::Keep Your Mouth Pure.
📖Text: Matt 12:35-37, Ephesians 4:29-30.
▪️The bible says 📖Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying that It may minister grace to the hearers........ .....,.............Then 📖 Ephesians 5:4:- says neither filthiness nor foolish talking not jeating, which are not convinient but rather giving of thanks.
👉 Corrupt words from a Christian mouth will hinders the flow of God's supernatural power, it hinder you from benefiting from God. Our mouth/ tongue are very powerful weapons., they can destroy a city. 📖James 3:5-6
With our mouth we create Like God, let there be light and there was light. 📖Genesis 1:3.
👉Is your mouth building or destroying. What are you creating with you words.
👉keeping our mouth pure, makes the power of God to flows from our mouth, giving life, success, etc to ourselves and others. 📖Isaiah 51:16 says, God has put His words in our mouth to create the heaven and the Earth.
👉 Corrupt words hinders the flow of God power. It's make our words powerless, that's why most Christian's are not producing signs and wonders. 👉The signs and wonders are not manifesting.📖Mark 16: 17-20.
👉 Remember you will give account of your words on the last day.
📖Matt 12:36,
So brethren Let's speak only positive word and keep our mouth pure
🔑 Action Point: Repent of every negative words you have spoken against yourself and others. Make a decision to keep your mouth pure.

🌹Message: Reconciled to Reconcile others.
📖 Text: 2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.
How many souls have you won in the past six months. As soon you became a born again child of God, the ministry of reconcilation was given to you by our Lord Jesus Christ. You became a co- labourer with other saints of God.
Soul winning is not just for pastors etc, it is the duty of every child of God. When you win souls unto God, you are dispopulating the kingdom of darkness and pupolating the kingdom of God. And that's why 📖John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
When you win souls and they remain in God. 👉 you becomes a kingdom star on Earth 📖Daniel 12:3
👉You receives answers to all your prayers, 📖John 15:16, 📖Matt 6:33. . And many more benefits.
Make evangelism your superior task this year, use every opportunity to invite someone to Christ Jesus.
