‎THE WORD📖📚🖍
‎
‎MINISTER: Rev. Benjamin Eze
‎
‎TOPIC: FIGHT TO KNOW
‎
‎SCRIPTURE: Philippians 3:10
‎
THINGS THAT YOU AND I NEED TO KNOW.
‎
‎The word 'FIGHT' speaks of contention, a determination not to give up until you obtain what you are pursuing.
‎
‎FIGHT TO KNOW means making a conscious and determined effort to pursue knowledge, understanding, and the truth.
‎
‎WHAT DO WE NEED TO KNOW?
‎
‎1. The Light of Knowledge
‎
‎◾One of the greatest things you need is to fight for knowledge.
‎
‎◾Knowledge gives you understanding, direction, and confidence.
‎
‎◾As long as you come to know that God can do the impossible, no situation should be powerful enough to bring you down completely.
‎
‎◾What you know influences who you become.
‎
‎WHAT IS KNOWLEDGE?
‎
‎1. Knowledge is information.
‎
‎◾Knowledge is the information and understanding you acquire about your life, your purpose, your environment, and the things you are doing.
‎
‎◾Knowledge also means discovering things you were previously unaware of.
‎
‎◾When you lack knowledge, seek counsel and be humble enough to learn from others.
‎
‎◾Pride can prevent you from receiving knowledge, while humility positions you to learn.
2. Knowledge Is Awareness Through Learning and Experience
‎
‎◾Knowledge also means being aware of facts, situations, skills, and experiences through learning and through the things you encounter in life.
‎
‎◾Sometimes, life itself becomes a teacher.
‎
‎◾Every experience should teach you something.
‎
‎◾Every mistake should increase your understanding.
‎
‎◾Every challenge should give you wisdom.
‎
‎◾When you lack knowledge, pain and unnecessary tears can become inevitable.
‎
‎◾When you lack knowledge, failure can become difficult to avoid.
‎
‎◾When you refuse to learn from your experiences, your story may eventually become “Had I known…”
‎
‎CONCLUSION
‎
‎Fight to know.
‎
‎Fight to know God.
‎Fight to know your purpose.
‎Fight to know the truth.
‎Fight to understand people.
‎Fight to learn from your experiences.
‎Fight to increase your wisdom.
‎
‎Do not be comfortable with ignorance when knowledge is available.
‎
‎What you know can change what you believe, what you believe can change how you act, and what you do can change the outcome of your life.
‎
‎Therefore, fight to know.
‎
‎Truth is not bitter; it is sweet, but bitter to the rejectors.
‎
‎PRAYER:
‎• Oh Lord, I receive grace to go back to the word of God so that I can receive knowledge to know the truth, Lord, in Jesus' Name. Amen.
