*YOUTH* *SUNDAY* *MESSAGE*

_Theme_: Arise and shine, the power of purposeful youth

Text: Isaiah 60:1, 1 Timothy 4:12

*_Greetings_*
Beloved in Christ, today we celebrate youth Sunday across UAMC, a special Sunday to appreciate, encourage and commission our young people for Gods purpose.

The youth are not just future of our great organisation and church but also the strength and energy of the church.

√√ *God* *has* *purpose* *for* *every* *youth*.
Jeremiah 29:11 says, God has good plans for us- plan to prosper us, and give us hope and a future.

*This* *Include*
Youth is not a time to waste: its a time to discover purpose, build good character, and grow in the knowledge of God. Many great people in the Bible started young.
David defeated Goliath as a youth Joseph became a leader in Egypt early in life You are not too young to matter in Gods plan.

√√ *Be* *an* *Example* *in* *Character* *and* *Faith* .
1 Timothy 4:12, Let no one despise your youth, but be an example in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Youth today face many challenges:Peer pressureSocial media distractionsImmorality -

but God is calling you to stand out, not to blend in

Be an Example in *Speech* - speak truth and encouragement *Behavior* - live a disciplined and Godly life *Love* - show kindness and compassion *Faith* - trust God even when its hard *Purity* - keep your heart and body holy

√√ *Remember* *Your* *creator* *early*
Eccelesiastes 12: 1 says, Remember now your creator in the days of your youth.

Many regrets in life for ignoring God during youth. But those who follow Him early enjoy direction, peace and purpose.

√√ *Arise* *and* *Shine* .
Isaiah 60:1 says Arise and a shine for your light has come.
God is calling young people to rise above mediocrity, sin, and fear and shine as light in the world.

*You* *are* *called* to Shine in your academics and career Shine in your spiritual life Shine as leaders in society Shine as an ambassador of Christ.

√√ *Call* *to* *action* *for* *youth*
Dear Youth Build personal relationship with God Study the word of God daily Avoid bad company Discover your gifts and use them Be bold in your faith

Do not wait for tomorrow- start now.

√√ *Roles* *of* *the* *church* *and* *Parents*
Youth cannot grow alone they need guidance. The church must mentor, teach and support them Parent must nurture them in Godly valuesLeaders must create opportunities for them to serve.
.When youth are empowered, the church become stronger.

Youth are like arrows in the hand a warrior (psalm 127: 4). When properly shaped and directed , they hit great targets.

Today God is saying to our youth: You are chosen, you are called and you are capable.

*Prayer*
God i thank you for our youth. God strengthen them, guide them and fill them with wisdom. Help them to live purposely and shine as lights in this generation. Protect them from all evils and use them for your glory in Jesus Mighty Name.

*Theme* : a month of GRACE into a new things.

I joyfully welcome the entire members of our great church into the glorious month of GRACE.

I thank God for His faithfulness, protection, and abundant grace that has brought us this far.

I also warmly appreciate Nigerian workers as they celebrate their day, for their dedication, sacrifice and commitments to the growth of Gods Kingdom. Your labour in the vineyards will not be in vain and your service shall continue to make lasting impact

As it is written in Isaiah 43:19, behold, I will do a new things; now its shall springs forth, new blessings, divine breakthroughs, and greater testimonies in every area of your lives.

May the Lord Crown this month with goodness, strengthen His church, enlarge our coast and cause His light to shine through us more than ever before (amen).
