1 Corinthians 13:1-3
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
If a person has all the spiritual gifts and can fathom mysteries and does ot love God says the person is nothing. The attributes of love are listed in the bible text; Love is patient. Patience is enduring all things, being tolerant.
1 Corinthians 13:7
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Love hopes for the best in everyone. In interacting with people, when you are treated with no regard or when we are offended you get angry. The love God wants us to have is such that endures all things. However, when you are dealing with God, He expresses patience continually. We ourselves must learn to be patient and endure. In the bible passage, we see that the text starts with describing the attributes of love with patience and ends in verse 7 with describing love as ‘enduring all things’ Hence, love starts with patience and ends with endurance
