Despite his visible injuries and bandaged eye, this young boy stood for long hours in “Tekiyeh” (charity kitchen) lines in the besieged Gaza Strip, only to end up carrying a simple bowl of broth. His exhausted features and dust-covered face encapsulate the daily suffering of thousands of children facing acute malnutrition and a lack of basic medical care, amid the ongoing, suffocating humanitarian crisis.

Brother Amin Abdullah was martyred today at the Islamic center of San Diego he was the lead security guard of the mosque for years. There is an elementary school at the mosque and no students or teachers were injured despite two shooters attacking the Mosque and school. Brother Amins last Facebook post read, “What is success?To many people success is financial stability, good reputation, beauty,etc.
As for ME! Wallahi,thumma Wallahi.It is returning back to Allah OUR creator with the same pure soul he loaned me at birth.

THIS IS COMMON IN LAGOS!

Through the last weekend, this died at an unknown time, in the neighbourhood.

It was later in the morning people started getting to know. I had earlier thought they will either burn it to ashes or burry it due to its current condition of putrefaction, lo and behold it was prepared, dismembered with a larger part of it sold to whomever.

The buyers of such could be meat sellers in your community, and back to food vendors. I understand the pains that come with losing one's capital in investment but things like this has to be taken with good faith, lest we put ourselves into trouble.

Sincerely, it was for this reason I didn't eat beef from the day of the sharing till I left Lagos yesterday.

PS; The owner didn't care a bit but some greedy people couldn't just let go.
