Topic: Benefits of the Gospel.
Text: Rom 1:1-16.

There are benefits in the Gospel.
What is the Gospel?
Gospel is not going to church.
Gospel is not being a good person.
Gospel is not prosperity only.
Gospel is not fear.

The Gospel is good news that God came to rescue us through Christ. There is no other place in the world where you can hear this good news.
There are four cardinal points about the Gospel:
1. God
2. Sin
3. Jesus
4. Response.

The good news is that you and I are created in the image of God. Your perception about unbelievers is not God's perception. They are God's image, which is the first corner of the Gospel, making us understand that we are God's image.

Two things Adam had: he was created in the image of God to fellowship with God, and he was able to work in the capacity of God.

The day sin set in, it destroyed that image (Rom 3:23). If you have accepted the Gospel, you have eternal life.

Jesus came to save us. He who would save us must be sinless (John 3:16). This is the Gospel (1 Cor 4:34, 1 Cor 15).

Things Jesus did:
* He died for our sins.
* He was buried, resurrected, and ascended to heaven.

The fourth corner of the Gospel is our response. As sweet as the Gospel is, Jesus did not compel us to believe it. That is, we have the grace to choose (Mark 1:15, Rom 10:9).

Spiritual understanding is the catalyst for a deeper connection with the divine. It's the unwavering trust in God's word and promises. Jesus Christ reassures us, 'I am with you always, even to the uttermost part of the world.'

The transformative power of spiritual understanding is rooted in Job 2:9 and John 15:4-7, Philippians 4. It's an invitation to live in harmony with God.

How can I cultivate this unwavering faith?
* PATIENCE + PRAISE + PRAYER (Numbers 11:1)
* Remember, your exhaustion doesn't weary God; it's you who needs rest.
* Refrain from murmuring.
* Avoid blaming God.
* Don't let doubt creep in.

Embracing the light of God's truth is the key to overcoming the darkness of ignorance and sin (John 3:19).

Lack of knowledge can be a significant obstacle for many, but it's essential to recognize that ignorance is not a permanent state.
Darkness and ignorance are closely linked, but through God's guidance, we can transition from darkness to light. So, what is darkness?
It's a state of separation from God, characterized by confusion, fear, and bo***ge (1 John 1:5-6). Without God's direction, we're navigating life in the dark
Fortunately, God desires for each of us to walk in the light, which is a symbol of His presence and guidance (John 12:35). Darkness, on the other hand, is a realm where Satan operates (Colossians 1:13, Ephesians 6:12, and Luke 22:53). When darkness seems overwhelming, we need the empowering light of God. It's crucial to acknowledge that darkness can masquerade as outward success, but inwardly, it can be a source of torment.
To truly appreciate the power of light, we must first understand the gravity of darkness. In Genesis 1:3, we read, 🌟💫🔦💡👏
