*MINISTERING: APOSTLE (DR) J.O BANKOLE* TOPIC: THE ARK OF GOD. BIBLE READING: 1 SAMUEL 6, EXODUS 25:10, 17, 22 The Ark of the Covenant is the sacred vessel that embodies God's glorious presence, housing three pivotal elements that symbolize the divine bond between God and humanity. God instructed Moses, "I will meet with you above the mercy seat, between the cherubim," underscoring the Ark's role as a conduit for divine communication, not an object of worship, but a channel for God's voice to reach His servant Moses. God's majestic presence is too great for any human to endure, yet His desire is to dwell among His people and reveal Himself to them. Due to His greatness, the people couldn't bear His presence directly, so they asked Moses to mediate, to hear God's voice on their behalf and convey His words to them. *Our goal is clear: none among us will be ordinary; we will all carry the reverence and fearful presence of God in our lives.* The Ark of the Covenant had been taken captive by King Abinadab for many years, but King David, driven by a heart of worship and reverence, sought to bring it back to Israel. When Uzzah presumptuously touched the Ark, he was struck dead, reminding us of God's holiness. Subsequently, King David had the Ark taken to Obed-Edom's house, where God's blessing overflowed, transforming lives. *Why did the same Ark that struck Uzzah dead bring blessings to Obed-edom?* The answer lies in the essence of God's nature: He is holy and demands reverence. Anyone who desires to approach Him must also be holy, separated unto Him, and consecrated. As we reflect on Joshua 3:3-4, we are reminded of the importance of treating God's presence with reverence.

MERCY
*WHAT IS CONVENANT?*
Convenant is a binding or a sacred agreement in between God and man and sealed by blood . It is sealed on promise and backed by God's character Psalm 106:1. The character of God is absolutely good and good. He is not only merciful, *HIS MERCIES ENDURES FOREVER*
His mercies is unending. We are privileged to be children of God's Mercy.
Genesis 9:11-12 (KJV) *And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood;* *neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth.*
*And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations*

WHAT IS MERCY? *Mercy is God not giving us what we deserve.* Every believer was once under bo***ge and curse of the enemy but mercy is God's justification and redemption from the enemy.
*Grace is giving us what we don't deserve*
We don't deserve justification but mercy gave it to us. The world does not deserve Jesus, but God offered Jesus for the *SALVATION OF MANKIND* THIS IS BECAUSE OF HIS MERCIES THAT ENDURES FOREVER
When you are confused and you don't know what to do, just ask for the mercy of God because what you need is mercy intervention.
*Psalms 103:8-11 (KJV)* The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
*For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him*.
The Mercy of God is endless, it is as far as the heaven is from the earth

Mercy overpowers judgement
*EVERY JUDGEMENT PRONOUNCED OVER OUR LIFE IS OVERULED BY MERCY*

HOW DO WE OBTAIN MERCY
1. COME WITH HUMILITY Whenever we come into the presence of God, humble your spirit, come with a CONTRITE SPIRIT. Don't come because you have any form of righteousness or holiness but come because you are helpless and weak before God. See yourself as not worthy before God.
*GOD CAN NEVER RESIST A MEEK AND CONTRITE SPIRIT* YOU WILL ALWAYS FIND HIS MERCY!

PRAYER:LORD BRING ME TO THE REALM AND KINGDOM OF YOUR MERCY. LET ME OBTAIN MERCY
