SUNDAY MESSAGE IN WISDOM OF GOD'S WORD CHURCH

TOPIC: GOD'S DESIRE FOR HIS PEOPLE
TEXT: GENESIS 13:1-4
God has a desire for his people and his desire is for his people to be greatly blessed and rich in his kingdom which is why He said we shall reign as kings and priest. In the kingdom of God poverty is not allowed but can be allowed only by choice of the individual or by chance. You must understand that prayer is good but prayer cannot solve everything,if you want to be rich or wealthy you need to apply the principles of wealth and riches else your prayers will be fruitless.
POINTS TO CONSIDER
A. THE GREATEST ENEMY TO WEALTH
1. Procrastination: It is a demon that hijack your time. Everything about God and faith is NOW not LATER, So you are expected to act on your faith now and don't wait till tomorrow.
2. Distraction: this is another thing that takes your mind away from your main focus in other for you to miss the original plan or desire of God for your life.
3. Excuses: This is a demon that keeps you away from wealth. A man who gives excuses over everything cannot attain great riches of the kingdom of God.
4. Fear: Fear comes to all who attempt to get the riches of God but you must never bow to it. Trial and failure is what gives you experience so don't be afraid to try.
SEVEN LIES ABOUT GETTING RICH
1. Go to school, graduate and get a good job and you will become rich. This is a typical lie that many has fallen into. Schooling is good but doesn't guarantee you getting rich.
2. You need money to make money. This is another lie people believe but you must understand that you don't necessarily need money to get money but you need idea and skills to get rich. Think of something you can do or produce because whatever you produce you regulate the price as it suits you.
3. Work hard and become rich. This is a lie because hard work alone cannot make you rich but what you need is to work smart.
4. Millionaires are just lucky. It's not true because luck does not just happen but opportunity that meets preparation brings great success.
5. Investment is risky. It's a lie because without investment there will be no return so don't be swayed by the risk because every wealthy man is an investor.
6. You need a high income to build wealth. No, what you need is financial discipline. You save and grow wealth gradually.
7. Rich people are greedy or you can't be rich and righteous. That's a lie. Abraham was wealthy and righteous so you can do even more.
C. FIVE LEVELS OF MONEY
1. Credibility. It's what you do over a long period of time.
2. Credible relationship. It's when you don't have money but you have people who can give you money.
3. Integrity. It's what you do even when nobody knows or discovers it.
4. Character. It is the foundation for life. You keep people or send them away with your character.
5. Confidence. Know what you are doing and do it well. Money you have is an exchange to value. Never you have a fraudulent mentality which is instant result. Grow wealth gradually and you will marvel at the end result.
PRAYER POINT: Lay your hands on your head and say LORD BLESS ME WITH WISDOM TO MAKE WEALTH.
