THREE REASONS EVERY CHRISTIAN MUST ALWAYS PREACH THE WORD OF GOD, Culled From Dipo Toby Alakija Illustrative Sermon
A man who was fond of attacking Christian faith was given a tract with the title: “Only One Life.” He only read the title before he angrily tore it into pieces. The Christian Brother who gave the tract to him shrugged and went away. Not long after that, the title of the tract began to ring bell in his mind. At first he ignored the voice that kept repeating, “Only One Life” over and over again everywhere he went. When he could not bear it anymore, he looked for the Brother and asked him about the Only One Life. Through his explanations, the man became a Christian and later a tract evangelist.
The three reasons every Christian must always preach the word of God to others are:
1. If Christians do not use all available means and resources to reach out to others, so many people may turn into enemies of the cross who would persecute Christians all over the world. The Bible says in Philippians 3:18, “For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ…”
2. If Christians do not pray without ceasing as instructed in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, evil will continue to increase and the love of many people for Jesus Christ will grow cold. Jesus said in Matthew 24:12-14, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”
3. Any Christian who does not preach the gospel through one way or the other is not appreciating what God has done for him or her. The person is also disobeying a direct order from Jesus Christ Who commanded Christians in Mark 16:15 to go into the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

My brother's and Sisters, you may have been going to church but you have not really receiving Jesus Christ,
He is not savior of your life,
You have not change from your evil ways,
You have not fully surrendered to Jesus Christ and you are still telling yourself what to do and devil is still leading you.

Luke 5 vs 32 says, l came not to call the righteous but Sinners to repentance.

It's not the will of God that you should die as a sinner.

Why must you choose to die and go to hell fire?

Why should you be the devils slaves when you have opportunity to be free?

What will be your reason for rejecting the grace of God offered freely to you?

My brother's and Sister's, today make up your mind to repent and surrender all to Jesus Christ.

There's no repentances in the grave.
Now that you are alive is the time to repent and accept Jesus Christ as your lord and personal savior.

The worst thing that can happen to a man, is to die without repented and accepted Jesus Christ as lord and personal savior.

Dear friends, this is your opportunity to repent and accept Jesus Christ before it's too late.

Tomorrow is not promised to anyone.

PLEASE PRAY THIS PRAYER TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST 🙏
Heavenly father, l know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness.
I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and rose again.
I want to turn away from my sin and live a godly life.
I now invite Jesus Christ into my heart as my lord and personal savior.
I am willing to follow Him as lord of my life from this day forward in Jesus name l pray Amen.

EXCELLENCE: PLATFORM FOR PROMOTION
(Daniel 6:3) Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
Excellence refers to pursuing and doing the best you can with the gifts and abilities God has given you. It is giving your best to the glory of God. Excellence is doing common everyday things in a very uncommon way. Excellence is a spirit and for everyone who is in Christ. Excellence is a spirit but it needs a yielded vessel through which it can manifest. It is true that we are excellent by redemption but we manifest excellence by yielding to the leading of the Holy Spirit. It is essential that you know that supernatural excellence is a substance that is created by the operation of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer. However, its manifestation lies in the self determination of that believer.
The spirit of excellence brings you out of the shadows and turns the spotlight on you while bringing glory to God. Daniel had an excellent spirit (Daniel 6:3). He was distinguished and placed above others. It was not just his ability, skillfulness, or good looks, according to our text, an excellence spirit were in him. The most glaring effect of the spirit of excellence in the life of Daniel and anyone for that matter is promotion. Excellence as defined by the Spirit churns out favour in the life of them that have it and that favour attracts promotion. You cannot be promoted if you have not been favoured and the more robust your promotion is, the greater is the substance called excellence that is at work in your life. Daniel chose to be excellent and we read about how he was preferred and promoted.
Beloved, while the seed of excellence is undeniably resident within you, you must fan it to flame through determination laced with an array of spiritual activities like prayer, and principled lifestyle. When these happen, your life will take a most radiant dimension and God will take you to the top.
Child of God, until you realize the importance of excellence in your quest to prosper in life, you will remain on one spot. As a believer, you have been called to stand out and be excellent at what you do. Therefore, refuse to do things anyhow. In everything you are asked to do, please ensure that you do it with a touch of excellence, for that it where lies your promotion.
Thought for the Day: Until you realize the importance of excellence in your quest to prosper in life, you will remain on one spot.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, give me the Spirit of Excellence in Jesus name, Amen.
