Wise words from PRESIDENT ROBERT MUGABE OF ZIMBABWE.

1) "When your clothes are made of cassava leaves, you don’t take a goat as a friend."

2) "If you are ugly, you are ugly. Stop talking about inner beauty because men don’t walk around with X-ray machines to see inner beauty."

3) "When one’s goat gets missing, the aroma of a neighbour’s soup gets suspicious."

4) "Treat every part of your towel nicely because the part that wipes your buttocks today will wipe your face tomorrow."

6) "If President Barack Obama wants me to allow marriage for same-sex couples in my country (Zimbabwe), he must come here so that I marry him first."

7) "Cigarette is a pinch of to***co rolled in a piece of paper with fire on one end and a fool on the other end."

8)😎 Interviewer: "Mr President, when are you bidding the people of Zimbabwe farewell?"
Robert Mugabe: "Where are they going?"

9) Racism will never end as long as white cars are still using black tires; If people still use black color for bad luck and white for peace; If people still wear white clothes to weddings and black clothes to funerals; As long as those who don’t pay their bills are blacklisted and not ‘whitelisted’… But I don’t care as long as I still use the white tissue paper to wipe my ass! With that only, I will always be very fine.

10) No African girl will choose six pack over six cars.. So stop going to the gym and go to work!

13) A person can love you and still cheat, just like we love God and still sin.

14) It’s better to sit in a bar thinking about God than to sit in a church thinking about beer.

THEME: THE ULTIMATE INVITATION
TEXT: Mark 8:34
“And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Mark 8:34

Meditation: Jesus gives humanity the greatest invitation ever given: “Come after Me.” It is an invitation to follow Christ, surrender our lives to Him, and live according to His will.

However, this invitation comes with a cost. Jesus says, “Let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Following Christ is more than attending church, carrying a Bible, or professing to be a Christian. It requires self-denial, sacrifice, obedience, and daily commitment.

To deny ourselves means putting God's will above our own desires.

To take up our cross means being willing to endure hardship, sacrifice, rejection, and inconvenience for the sake of Christ.

To follow Jesus means allowing Him to lead our decisions, character, relationships, priorities, and entire lives.
Jesus reminds us that gaining the whole world is worthless if we lose our soul:
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36

The ultimate invitation is therefore not an invitation to an easy life, but an invitation to a transformed life, a purposeful life, and ultimately eternal life with Christ.

Other References
Matthew 16:24 “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”

Luke 9:23 We must take up our cross daily and follow Christ.

John 12:26 “If any man serve me, let him follow me.”

Luke 14:27 Whoever does not bear his cross and come after Christ cannot be His disciple.

John 14:6 Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.

Matthew 11:28 Jesus invites the weary: “Come unto me…”

Revelation 3:20 Christ stands at the door and knocks, inviting us to fellowship with Him.

What Is God Saying to Us Today?
The invitation is still open: “Come after Me.”

Do not allow worldly pursuits, fear, comfort, disappointment, or the opinions of people to prevent you from following Jesus. Whatever the cost of discipleship may be, Christ is worth it.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for inviting me to follow You. Give me the grace to deny myself, take up my cross daily, and follow You faithfully. Help me to put Your will above my own desires and remain committed to You in every season of life. May my life bring glory to Your name, and may I never lose sight of the eternal reward. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

🙏 May the grace to follow Jesus faithfully be released upon us today. May we never turn back, and may our lives continually glorify God. In Jesus' name. Amen.

GRATEFUL TO GOD 🙏

Today, my heart is filled with nothing but gratitude to Almighty God. When I look back at where He brought me from, the battles He fought for me, the doors He opened, the prayers He answered, the dangers He protected me from, and the blessings He has given me, I can only say:

THANK YOU, LORD! 🙏

Happy Married Life!!!
There were times when I did not know how things would work out, but God made a way. There were moments of weakness, but His grace sustained me. There were challenges that seemed impossible, but His mercy brought me through them all.

I may not have everything I desire yet, but I have every reason to thank God for everything He has already done and for the greater things He is still going to do.

For life, good health, family, friends, ministry, opportunities, protection, provision, peace, and the gift of another day, I am deeply grateful.

Lord, thank You for what You have done. Thank You for what You are doing. And thank You in advance for what You will still do.

I have come this far not by my power, wisdom, or strength, but by the grace and mercy of God.

To God alone be all the glory, honour, and adoration now and forevermore. Amen! 🙌❤️

GRATEFUL TO GOD ALWAYS! 🙏
