*FAITH IN THE WORD.*

‭Matthew 8:8, 10 (KJV)‬.... *The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. ‬*

[10] *When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.*

What is faith?

Faith is taking God at his word. Faith is acting on God’s word; it is believing that what God says he will do, that he will do, and you go out rejoicing about it. That is exactly what the centurion in our theme scripture displayed before The Christ. What he displayed made Christ Jesus marvel.

He demonstrated FAITH IN THE WORD OF CHRIST. He told Jesus, You don’t need to come to my house to heal my servant; I believe in the power and efficiency of your word. So, just speak your word, and my servant shall be healed.

God want his children to demonstrate a faith that will make him marvel at his word. This means that you don’t need your pastor to lay hands on you before you get healed, just get his message, listen to it and pray along side it, and believe, and you will find yourself working in healing.

Do this also in every areas of your life today. Hallelujah.

Prayer:
I thank you father for your word. My faith is in your word and I put it to work every time to produce for me the results which it talks about in Jesus name. Amen.

*WHO IS EPAPRHAS (PART 3)*

‭Colossians 4:12 (KJV)‬..... *Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. ‬*

Epaphras is a leader who labours fervently in prayers for others and the church. You are a bad leader if you don’t help restore a fellow believer who has fallen back to its original state. You are a bad leader if you mock those who are weak in faith and spread bad rumours about them.

How can you claim to be a leader, but then you don’t labour fervently in prayers for others and the church? This is not how to mark a good leader. You are known by how much time you spend praying for others and the church.

The person you pray for, you don’t criticise the church you labour fervently in prayers for, you don’t speak evil of. This is a vital lesson to learn from this wonderful saint called Epaphras. Learn to spend quality time praying for others today.
Be wise.

Prayer:
Now, give thanks to God for others and for your church and for your pastor. Then, pray in tongues for 5 minutes.

*WHO IS EPAPHRODITUS? (PART 1).*

‭Philippians 2:25 (KJV‬).... *Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.*

The name “ *Epaphroditus* ” in Greek means “one devoted to a cause." This is what the name means. This young brother, as his name implies, was a true Christian. He was a Christian in the church at Phillipi. He was sent to Paul the Apostle while in prison by the brethren of the church in the Philippines.

They had a love offering or a care offering that they raised as a church in that region, and they sought out one among them whom they could trust with the task of delivering such an important assignment. To go deliver their giving to the Apostles, who were then in prison, they found this brother whom the Bible called Epaphroditus.

I want to believe that the Spirit of the Lord was the one who led his parents to name him as such because, many years later, as the meaning of his name would give, he was found TO BE DEVOTED not only to the gospel but to the man of God.

This brother represents to me someone you can put your trust in; in times of difficulty. He was devoted to both God and man. Children of God, can this be said of you? Can we find you devoted to the things of God and to your man of God? Let this brother minister to you today.

Prayer:
Loving father, I am so grateful for your word. You have taught me from your word the quality of character expected of me as a believer and I thank you for by your Spirit, you are shaping me into that person today in Jesus name. Amen.

*GIVING IS NOT AN OPTION.*

‭Matthew 6:2 (KJV)‬.... *Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.*

‭ Giving is not an option for a child of God. Giving for the believer is not a subject of “if," but of “when.”. One way we measure your love for Christ Jesus and his works on earth is by your giving. If you are not a giver, then you are not a lover. You give to demonstrate your love.

John 3:16 (KJV‬)... *For God so loved the world, that he gave.......*

‭ It is where your treasure is, i.e., your money; that is where your heart will be.

Matthew 6:21 (KJV‬).... *.for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.*

It is not the other way around. This means that we know where your heart is when we see where you put your money or what you do with your money. Some ministers of the gospel can’t give a certain amount to God, but they can give it to a lady.

Your giving defines you. The weight of what you give defines the honour you give to that thing. Have you seen believers who struggle with giving their tithes? They don’t have a life in God. Many times, we don’t give because we have much; we GIVE TO HAVE.This is a law.

Start giving from today.

Prayer:
Thank you father for this your word. I am a true giver and my life of giving is opening doors for me. Therefore, my hands shall not lack to have in Jesus name. Amen.
