Father Almighty; You are worthy to be praised. King of kings, Lord of lords, the Ancient of Days, the Unchangeable Changer; You are worthy to be praised. We are very grateful to You for thus far You have helped us in this special Convention. We thank You for souls that have been saved, for the people You have already healed, for those who will receive their healings tonight and for all the captives that You will also set free, please, accept our thanks in Jesus’ name. Lord God Almighty, as we continue with this Your wonderful Convention, let there be more wonders, miracles, signs and testimonies. We pray Lord God Almighty that the joy of everyone of Your children will become full, in Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.

THE MESSAGE
TEXT - MATTHEW CHAPTER 22
35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Tonight, we want to discuss something very important and crucial to our journey to heaven.
We want to look at The Wonders of Commitment.
Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
WHAT IS COMMITMENT?
Commitment means total and absolute surrender once and for all time.
A very good illustration will be the vow you make at a wedding.
When you say to your spouse; I'm taking this man/woman alone for the rest of my life in sickness or in health, in wealth or poverty and everything i have from now on is available to him/her until death do us part.
The God we serve never does things in half measures.
1.There is no half blessing with God.
Psalm 23:5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
2. No half breakthrough with God.
If He gives you a breakthrough, it will frighten you.
In Luke 5:1-5, Peter fished all night and caught nothing, the Lord entered his boat, told him what to do, and he caught so much fish, the boat was full and he needed the second boat to help him.
3.There is no half measure kind of healing with God.
In 2 Kings 5:1-14, Naaman was healed and his skin was restored like that of a newborn baby.
When God heals you, He doesn't leave behind anything at all.
4.There is no half measure promotion with God.
When He promotes, He promotes generously.
In 1 Samuel 2:8, When He picks beggar from the dunghill, He does not stop half way until the beggar begins to sit with kings.
In Deuteronomy 28:1,3 He said you shall be head not the tail. He didn't say half way.
He said you shall be above only.
If He promotes you, He does a permanent job.
5. There is no halfway deliverance with God.
In Mark 5:2-20, When He healed the mad man, He did such a nice job that the fellow became an evangelist. The fellow never returns to the tomb to live.
PRAYERS:
i.The blessings that God will give you during this Convention will be absolute and complete.
ii.Your breakthrough will be total.
iii. Your healing will be hundred percent complete.
iv.Very soon, your colleagues will look at you at the top and they will know it is only God who could have taken you thus far.
v.Deliverance; when He takes care of demons bothering you, you will never hear of them again.
When He delivered the children of Israel at the Red Sea, He said to them, all the enemies that you have seen tonight, you will never see them again forever and they never did. Because everyone of the enemy became food for fish.
6.When God gives victory, it is absolute.
If you study 1 Samuel 17:34-51, you will notice some very interesting things.
David versus Goliath, not only had God provided the stone that will knock the giant down, He had prepared the sword that is big enough to cut off the extra big neck of Goliath.
When God decides to take care of your enemy, He will do a thorough job.
There is no halfway support from God.
In Phippians 1:6 The One who has begun a good work in you will complete it.
God does not take you halfway through and then withdraw, He will complete what He has started.
7.Ther is no halfway salvation with God; it is either you are saved or you are not.
In Hebrew 7:24-25, God is able to save to the outermost.
He saved the soul of a chief herbalist and turned him to a pastor.
InMatthew 12:25-30, He said is it either you are for me or against me because a kingdom that is divided against itself can not stand.
He won't force you to be committed to Him.
He says clearly in Revelation 3:15-16, I want you to make up your mind, do you want to be hot or cold? Just choose one, if you want to be hot, be hot. If you want to be cold, be cold. If you are lukewarm, I will get rid of you.
When you want to praise Him, praise Him in such a manner that He will say it is good.
Do I hear somebody shout Hallelujah?
HALLELUJAH!
In Deuteronomy 30:19-20, He gives you advice; I'm setting before you life or death, blessings or curses. He advised you to choose life so that you and your seed may live.
Let what you have chosen be clear, be committed.
THE WONDERS OF COMMITMENT.
1.Commit your body to Him.
He wants you to present your body as a living sacrifice.
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
You are saying your body is His.
Nothing in this body of mine will give You displeasure.
In Daniel 1:1-20, Daniel and some of his friends were taken as slaves in the foreign land.
Daniel refused to defile his body by eating food offered to idols.
Daniel, Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego refused to defile their body with the king’s meat.
Don't listen to those who tell you that God is only interested in your spirit, you can do what you like with your body, that is not my God. When He owns, He wants to own you hundred percent.
How many husbands are going to shout for joy when they discover that their wives have been messing around?
How many wives will jump for joy when they hear that the husband has been unfaithful?
My body belongs to my wife and her body belongs to me, I won't defile that body.
God wants you to present your body a living sacrifice.
Daniel and his friends were looking far better than those eating the king's meat and drinking his wine and they were wiser.
In Daniel 6-28, when the lions saw Daniel coming, something told them, this body is not your food because it had been committed to the Almighty God, don't touch Him, else the One who made him will kill you.
In Daniel 3:1-30, the fire could not burn Shedrach, Meshach and Abednego because the colour of the fiery furnace is the same as the colour of the wine and the bodies have not been defiled by wine of the king.
WHAT ABOUT YOUR SOUL?
The soul is that part of you where you have wisdom, understanding and so on.
When you love Him with all your soul; when you commit your soul to Him, you will discover that your wisdom will become difficult to explain.
In Daniel 2:20-22, A king had a dream and forgot it, the wise men could not tell him the dream and the interpretation. When Danield heard, he said give us time, there is a God in heaven who knows all things, our souls are committed to Him and He will be committed to us.The dream was revealed to Daniel that night. Daniel said, It is God who gives wisdom to the wise.
In James 1:5, when He gives you wisdom, He gives you liberally. God is not stingy.
When another situation arose in Daniel 5 1-31.When Daniel was brought to the king, he said I have heard of thee that light, understanding and excellent wisdom is in thee.
If you commit your soul to Him, He will give you excellent wisdom.
WHAT ABOUT COMMITTING YOUR SPIRIT TO HIM?
Loving Him with all your spirit.
In Numbers 14:20-24, the Almighty God sain Caleb followed me wholly, his spirit is different from the others, therefore, he will get to the promised land.
If you commit your spirit to Him, He will make sure you reach your goal.
In Daniel 6:1-3, the Bible tells us of a king who has a hundred and twenty provinces so he chose one hundred and twenty princes to look after the provinces. He chose three presidents to supervise them and out of the three he chose Daniel to be their leader because an excellent spirit was found in him.
SOME SPECIFIC EXAMPLES OF COMMITTED PEOPLE.
1.JOSHUA.
In Joshua 24:15, He said as for me and my house, we will serve the lord. And the Almighty God said that is fine, ask for anything and you will get it.
HOW DID GOD RESPOND?
In Joshua 10:12-14, Joshua said to God, I'm fighting Your battle and the Sun is about to set, if the Sun sets the enemy will escape, so Sun, I command you, stay where you are. Monn, stay where you are. The Bible calls it a unique answer to prayer. There was never a day like that before and after.
2.ELIJAH.
In 1 Kings 18:1-46, Elijah stood against a nation and said to them to serve Jehovah if He is God or Baal. He prayed and fire fell.
HOW DID GOD RESPOND?
In 1 King 17:8-24, He became the first man ever to raise the dead.
God is looking for absolute commitment.
3.ELISHA.
In 1 Kings 19:19-21, the moment the mantle of Elijah fell on him, he followed him and never returned to the farm.
HOW DID GOD RESPOND?
In 2 Kings 13:14-21, Elisha became the first fellow to raise the dead twice, the second one was even raised after he died. He was dead and was still performing miracles.
4.PETER.
In Luke 5:1-11, after God gave him that overwhelming breakthrough, the Bible said, he surrendered all and followed Jesus.
In Acts 5:12-16, you will discover that even the shadow of Peter was healing the sick.
It pays to be committed to God.
5.PAUL.
In Philippians 3:5-11, He said, I let go my gains for Christ.
That i might know Him; i want to be hundred percent committed to Him.
In Acts 19:11-17, God performed special miracles through Paul.
He became a terror to the kingdom of darkness.
I want you to come out of this Convention with the demons testifying that they know Jesus and you.
Paul finished well.
MESSAGE FOR THOSE STRUGGLING WITH THE FORCES OF DARKNESS.
Some of you who know very well that you are in one form of bo***ge or the other, the result might be simply because you are not hundred percent committed to God.
Read Acts chapter 5 and 12.
No prison could hold Peter; he was thrown in the prison twice and the angel rescued him.
PRAYER:
i.I'm believing God for those of you who might be in any form of bo***ge, tonight will be your night of total deliverance.
In Proverbs 8:17 God said, I love those who love me.
God can't love you and the enemy will hold you down, it won't happen.
In Proverbs 8:36 Those who hate me love death.
If you love me, I will love you in return and if you hate me we will know you prefer death.
ANY PART OF YOUR LIFE THAT IS NOT COMMITTED TO GOD IS WHERE YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEM WITH SATAN.
Any part of your body, soul, spirit, business, marriage, … that is not hundred percent committed to God will have problems.
For example, you are sitting in a room full of light at night, the window is open and you chose to hang your hand outside the window in the dark and a snake is crawling by and the only thing it sees hanging outside is the finger, it bites, the fact that the rest of your body is in the light will not save you from the poison.
TOTAL COMMITMENT.
Everything that is yours must be committed to God, then God will take care of His own.
Check your commitment to God and take a decision tonight, you will find that there are tremendous wonders in being committed to God.
SURRENDER TO JESUS.
You can give your life to Jesus now, do it hundred percent, you can't do it half heartedly.
If you want to surrender to Him hundred percent tonight, cry unto Him: Lord, save my soul and I will serve You hundred percent; my body, soul and spirit will be Yours and I will be Yours forever.
The rest of us who claim that we are already children of the living God, think deeply before you pray tonight because if you cry to Him tonight, He will answer you by fire.
Please, intercede for those surrendering to the AlmightyGod, pray that God will have mercy on them, give them complete and absolute salvation the way He alone can do it. That their lives will become completely new so that old things will pass away and all things will become new for them.
PRAYER FOR SALVATION.
My Father and my God, i want to thank You for Your word and for those who have made up their minds to surrender to You hundred percent for the salvation of their souls, please Lord, let Your blood cleanse them from all their sins, let everything become brand new for them, save their souls Lord, write their names in the Book of life and please Lord, don't let them ever go back into sin in Jesus’ name. Anytime they cry unto You now my Father and my God, answer them completely.
Please, my Father and my God, Your children who will now be really committing to You, I pray that everything of commitment will be made available to them; absolute healing, deliverance, complete breakthrough and joy overflowing. The kind of blessing that only You can give, Father, give unto them, in Jesus’ mighty name we have prayed.
AMEN!
Praise the Lord.
HALLELUJAH!
SPEND QUALITY TIME IN PRAYER AND CLAIM WONDERS OF COMMITMENT.
Now you have heard the word, it is up to you to decide how you are going to relate with God from now on. If you are going to be hundred percent committed to Him, then you can go ahead and call on Him, tell Him, I have heard, when You heal, You heal completely.
I'm committing my life to You completely, give me total and comprehensive healing.
I have heard that if I'm committed to You, my breakthrough will be absolute, I'm claiming that Lord because I'm going to be hundred percent committed to You.
I have been told if I'm committed to you, my deliverance will be absolute, it is written whosoever the Son shall set free shall be free indeed, every yoke in my life, be destroyed tonight.
Spend quality time claiming all the wonders of commitment and I can assure you, He will prove Himself to be more than sufficient in Jesus' mighty name.
