Topic : Going Into The Harvest.

Memory Verse :: Romans 10:16. But not everyone welcomes the good news, as Isaiah said: Lord, is there anyone who hears and believes our message?

Bible Reading : Romans 10:13-15 TPT. Key Verse : v14.

And it’s true: “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord Yahweh will be rescued and experience new life.” But how can people call on him for help if they’ve not yet believed? And how can they believe in one they’ve not yet heard of? And how can they hear the message of life if there is no one there to proclaim it? And how can the message be proclaimed if messengers have yet to be sent? That’s why the Scriptures say: How welcome is the arrival of those proclaiming the joyful news of peace and of good things to come!

The best thing that happened to mankind is that Jesus Christ came to the earth as a man, though he is God. He came for sinners to fulfill the justice of God by taking the place of every man on earth who believes in what he did for us to die for our sins. We don't need to pay any other price to get saved. What we need is simple faith in him that died for us to be saved. "What it says is this: “God's message is near you, on your lips and in your heart” — that is, the message of faith that we preach. If you confess that Jesus is Lord and believe that God raised him from death, you will be saved. For it is by our faith that we are put right with God; it is by our confession that we are saved. The scripture says, “Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed.”" Romans 10:8-11 GNB.

Many people are like the Jews, they don't have regard for Jesus because he came in the simplest form. To them he doesn't meet their human prescribed requirements to save mankind. To some people the process of salvation is too simple to be real. Many therefore are where they are because they have not really called on him for help. Such individuals deny themselves the joy and peace Jesus brings into the lives of those who believes. Jesus knows the problem of men, but always steps in to help when men extend a call to him, which provides him with a spiritual legal ground for him to intervene and save them from destruction and shame.

The gospel becomes effective and is able to produce desired results only when men apply faith to it. This faith that produces results can sometimes be a product of continuous exposure to the message of life or word of God. That is the reason some of us can't stop proclaiming what Jesus has done for us by his sacrifice as to let me know what they stand to gain when they believe and obey the word of God that produces life and births changes in the lives of men that believe. We therefore must do everything possible to take this message to our world knowing that it is the only divine instrument that has capacity to save and preserve men from destruction and defeat. "As the crowds emerged from the village, Jesus said to his disciples, “Why would you say, ‘The harvest is another four months away’? Look at all the people coming—now is harvest time! For their hearts are like vast fields of ripened grain—ready for a spiritual harvest. And everyone who reaps these souls for eternal life will receive a reward. And those who plant spiritual seeds and those who reap the harvest will celebrate together with great joy!"John 4:35-36.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for coming to the earth out of a heart of love to save sinners. Thank you for reaching out to lost souls through ordinary men like me. Help me to always be available to take your message of life and hope to my generation. Use me to bring many to know you in Jesus precious name.... Amen 🙏🏿.

When you find it, you are so happy that you put it on your shoulders. and carry it back home. Then you call your friends and neighbours together and say to them, ‘I am so happy I found my lost sheep. Let us celebrate!’

When Jesus Christ walked the surface of the earth as a man, many religious leaders and teachers of the law couldn't understand him and his assignment. They wanted him to behave just like themselves, but he had a different perspective of things as God in the flesh, who came to reconcile sinners back to himself because of the love he has for man that made him lay down his own life that we might be saved. The religious leaders of those days felt that Jesus should not mingle with people they saw as sinners. Contrary to their expectations Jesus made friends with every willing sinner and tax collector who came around him. He related and even ate with them freely. They faulted his visiting the house of a tax collector like Zacchaeus and sitting to dine with him and his friends. They didn't care to note that the visit of Jesus Christ to his house and establishment of a relationship with him changed his life to become a blessing instead of being an oppressor.

"And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham./For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." Luke 19:9-10 KJV. These religious men lived to keep rules and to preserve a collapsing old order which God was changing through the appearance of his son. This time in our main text, when these religious leaders of the day began to express their dislike in the manner Jesus was relating with men they perceived as worst of sinners. Jesus then began to use parables to drive home the point that he is the creator and owner of the souls of all men. To that extent when any one soul goes astray by wandering into the paths of sin, himself who is the good shepherd goes out of his way to keep the remaining souls under his care safe and go after the single soul of a sinner who strayed from the paths of righteousness and truth.

Today, we have to be like Jesus as men who live to serve his purpose on earth. We have to think and behave like himself. This means that we have to think souls and souls of men again with the intention of jettisoning every religious spirit that look for pecks in the eyes of others while we have logs of wood in our eyes. We have to see sinners with the eyes of Jesus our master, in order to intercede as well as go after them with a heart of compassion with the message of the cross and show them the escape the gospel freely provides for every willing sinner. We need to understand the value God placed on every single soul he created. That's the reason he said that it is not his will that any soul he created be lost or should perish under his watch. He is depending on me and you to reach out to every lost soul, as we have become his extensions anywhere we find ourselves on earth.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for the love you have for sinners that made you die to save my soul. Give me your heart, make me an instrument to reach out to lost souls, as to restore them to your sheep fold in Jesus precious name.... Amen 🙏🏿.

Memory Verse :Ephesians 2:9. God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus he has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do.

that while we were spiritually dead in our disobedience he brought us to life with Christ. It is by God's grace that you have been saved. In our union with Christ Jesus he raised us up with him to rule with him in the heavenly world. He did this to demonstrate for all time to come the extraordinary greatness of his grace in the love he showed us in Christ Jesus.

What we lost through sin and Adam, Christ Jesus restored to us as believers in him. We are no more hopeless sinners that we used to be before we met Christ. In him, we obtained a new name as result of adoption into the family of God. We died to sin with him, so that we can be qualified to use his righteousness here on earth the rest of our days. That is the reason we have become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. This means that we now have what it takes to be heavenly spokesmen, representatives or ambassadors here on earth.

Now we have a new life which is spiritual or supernatural in nature. This new life functions in us through the channel of the Holy Spirit which is God's seal of ownership over our lives. The Holy Spirit makes the divine nature a part of us in our everyday life because we live in union or partnership with the Godhead. This means that the way we see and respond to things around us changed. This is because we now see things with the eyes of the Spirit instead of our physical eyes. That was what happened to David when he met Goliath the Philistine in the battlefield trying to rubbish God and his armies. David could face and bring down heavily armed Goliath with almost bare hands at such a tender age because he refused to see him as an insurmountable giant, just like every other Israeli soldiers. Because David saw with the eyes of the Spirit of God, Goliath became a nobody that he could confront with his simple sling and stones, which enraged the giant the more, even to his destruction

God is looking for willing vessels to empty himself in, in our generation. These men will take it upon themselves to demonstrate the extraordinary greatness of his love, mercy, grace and power as they begin to showcase his goodness to all creation. These set of people will be known for good works just like Jesus Christ himself. That's how we have already been configured to function from heaven as sons of the most high. It's in us already through redemption and adoption. All we need is to realise what God has done for and is trying to achieve through us, as made possible by by his indwelling Spirit which is a byproduct of grace that we have been called to enjoy. All we have to do now is to align with him as a result of understanding. "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:" 1 Peter 2:9 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for redeeming my soul and setting me up to become a joint heir of the father with you. Thank you for every blessing you have brought me into your kingdom to enjoy. Topic :Live To Keep Your Miracle.

Memory Verse : John 5:14. A short time later, Jesus found the man at the temple and said to him, “Look at you now! You’re healed! Walk away from your sin so that nothing worse will happen to you.”

He answered them, “The man who healed me told me to pick it up and walk.” “What man?” they asked him. “Who was this man who ordered you to carry something on a Sabbath?” But the healed man couldn’t give them an answer, for he didn’t yet know who it was since Jesus had already slipped away into the crowd.

From the record in our memory verse, we can see that this very impotent man Jesus healed at the pool of Bethesda broke the hedge of his spiritual territory. That made Satan to be able to take advantage of him and afflict him with paralysis. That is the reason Jesus had to warn him not to return to the paths of sin if he must keep the miracle. By what Jesus told him here, if he makes the mistake of returning to the ways of sin, something worse would happen to him. From this encounter, you will be able to understand that miracles are maintained through a life of obedience to the source, who is Jesus. That is the reason some people are not able to keep the miracle they received from the presence of the almighty because they return to their old ways that doesn't glorify God, which gives the devil a legal ground to operate unchecked.

Now, we can see on the other side, the reaction of the Jews and their leaders to the great thing God did in the life of this very sick man. The people was more interested in keeping the law than rejoicing at his healing and restoration. They were offended that he carried his sleeping mat around on a sabbath day. They wanted to know who gave such instructions, so that could punish the person. This is a man who had been at the pool for 38 years and couldn't get any solution to his problem because his condition didn't allow him get into the pool on time, anytime the angel of healing stirs the waters. Before he could crawl into the pool, some folks who could move faster will jump in. The only way he would have made it was for someone else who was sound heath wise to help him out, but there was none.

Jesus was attracted to this man's situation out of a heart of compassion. He knew that if he did nothing the man will be left to waste there. "Now there was a man who had been disabled for thirty-eight years lying among the multitude of the sick. When Jesus saw him lying there, he knew that the man had been crippled for a long time. So Jesus said to him, “Do you truly long to be healed?”" John 5:5-6. Jesus didn't wait for him to repent before healing him, but expected him to turn a new leaf out of a heart of gratitude. Today we must note that everyone can receive a miracle from Jesus, but we need to follow his ways in order to be able to keep or maintain what they received, especially when evil spirits that don't give up easily are involved. Luke 11:24-26.

But with his wife's agreement he kept part of the money for himself and handed the rest over to the apostles. Peter said to him, “Ananias, why did you let Satan take control of you and make you lie to the Holy Spirit by keeping part of the money you received for the property. Before you sold the property, it belonged to you; and after you sold it, the money was yours. Why, then, did you decide to do such a thing? You have not lied to human beings — you have lied to God!”

After pentecost, the early church was on fire. The Lord was working mightily in their midst to give them a strong footing and to restore their confidence which at that time was under pressure after Jesus was crucified and they came under attack which compelled some of them to attempt returning to their daily lives before they met Jesus and began to follow him. The power of God that entered their lives at pentecost gave them the boldness they needed to overcome every opposition as to stand and carry out the assignment Jesus gave them before he returned to the father. Pentecost brought the fire they needed to be effective. The revival that followed brought tremendous growth in the numerical strength of believers who fellowshiped together in one accord daily.

The early believers had one mind, which made them see to the need of one another, as one people. Some brethren who was touched sold their properties and donated the entire proceeds to the Apostles to support the work of God in their hands. People were making freewill donations to make sure that the needs of all the brethren were met. "There was no one in the group who was in need. Those who owned fields or houses would sell them, bring the money received from the sale, and hand it over to the apostles; and the money was distributed to each one according to his need. And so it was that Joseph, a Levite born in Cyprus, whom the apostles called Barnabas (which means “One who Encourages”), sold a field he owned, brought the money, and handed it over to the apostles." Acts 4:34-37.

Ananias and Sapphira sold their property and brought the proceeds of the Apostles feet just like other disciples. But they came in pride and with lies. The lies they told at the feet of the Apostles cost both of them their lives. They kept part of the proceeds, but lied that they gave all. Their intentions wasn't to glorify God, but themselves. Today we have to desist from pride, competition or showmanship in our service to God and his kingdom. We must realise that lie is a serious sin before the Lord. We live in a time that people tell lies easily and intentionally, even in holy places to look smart and good in the eyes of men, as if we don't know it's weight before the Lord. If you want to know the weight of lies before the Lord, you look at how God classified it together with dangerous sins like idolatry. "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation 21:8 KJV.

Prayer :Thank you Lord Jesus for being the way, the truth and the life. Thank you because in you there are no lies. Topic : Take Advantage Of Jesus.

The Jews have rules about ritual washing, and for this purpose six stone water jars were there, each one large enough to hold about a hundred litres. Jesus said to the servants, “Fill these jars with water.” They filled them to the brim, and then he told them, “Now draw some water out and take it to the man in charge of the feast.” They took him the water,

This time the Bible recorded about a wedding that happened in Canaan of Galilee. Jesus Christ and his earthly family members were in attendance. At the peak of the wedding, they ran out of wine. The mother came to him to alert him that the wine the celebrant was using had finished. The mother wanted Jesus to help them out with a miracle wine, possibly for relationship sake. What the mother did here is a testimony that Jesus had been useful to them at home in difficult times or times of lack. At this point Jesus waa unwilling to do something because he felt it wasn't yet time reveal his divine nature publicly to the people.

The mum after alerting Jesus Christ, turned to the organisers and servers to just do whatever Jesus Christ asked them to do. At this point, Jesus looked around and in his compassionate nature and saw six empty pots (drums or containers) that is meant for storage of water and asked them to fill the pots with water. After they have done that, he asked them to take from the pots and serve the governor or chairman of the occasion. It was on record that when the chairman of the ceremony tasted the wine, he discovered that it was sweeter than what they had before then. After the governor had taken, they began to serve every other people present. I want to believe that the ending of that wedding ceremony just like the wine was sweeter than the beginning because of the sweetness of this miracle wine.

Now, we must learn from this experience and many more others in the Bible that nothing goes bad or gets spoilt where Jesus is present. Even where things had already gone bad, when he steps in, men aways have reason to rejoice. That is one important reason we need him in your life as an individuals in our lives. You can always turn to him for assistance anytime you have need, if he is your partner in progress. He said that he knocks at the door of the heart of every single soul on earth through his word and divine messengers. If anyone can be careful enough to hear and open the door to him, he will come in and reside with such individual permanently by the help of the Holy Spirit. It will be very wise, if we take advantage of his generosity this time. His presence ensures constant supply of grace and mercy to every need in the lives of men.

So then, my brothers and sisters, because of God's great mercy to us I appeal to you: offer yourselves as a living sacrifice to God, dedicated to his service and pleasing to him. This is the true worship that you should offer. Do not conform yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God — what is good and is pleasing to him and is perfect.

Every believer has been called out from among the people to be different. This means that we live our lives simply to honour the one who died to save us from sin and attendant destruction. We must not allow the mercy and grace God invested in us to waste. Rather we have to show sincere commitment to his cause. That is the reason we have to live all our days to worship and adore him. In the place of worship, we surrender ourselves and desires to the Lord, so that we can live the rest of our days to please him. This means that we live all our days, just to do his biddings alone.

We have to understand that we no more belong to a worldly system or lifestyle that doesn't please God. In this system you will see a lot of ungodly desires that men who lack the fear of God chase after at all cost, thinking that such will satisfy their emptiness. There's a void that God created in every man that makes men to really not be fulfilled, the height they attain in life and things they possess notwithstanding. Solomon had understanding of this truth. He discovered that everything he did to satisfy himself as a man couldn't deliver expected results. Just like Solomon there are many people who are very miserable in the depths of their hearts because they lack peace that comes from God's presence when we live to please him.

The key to living fulfilled is in discovering God and his purpose in this life through his word. The word of God responds to every need of man. In our memory verse, we see the word as instrument of cleansing just like water. When we keep exposing ourselves to the scrutiny of the word of God daily, he is able to cleanse, transform or change our lives for the best. In his word we are able to discover his will or plan for our lives which is always the best. True fulfillment, peace and joy in life comes when we are able to live the plan of God as revealed in his word to us. "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God." Romans 5:1-2 KJV.
